What a lovely weekend getaway at Diamondvale Cottages! Hosts, Rachael and David, made us feel so very welcome, they went above and beyond for us, and their attention to detail was amazing. With all the sweet added touches, the cottages felt homely, comfortable, and were very clean. The property is just stunning, situated right on the creek. It is so relaxing to hang around the gorgeous grounds, taking in all the nature and wildlife. Rugging up by the fire was a real novelty. We stayed with little kids, it is close to town and plenty to do. I will be recommending to friends and family, and will be back for sure! x.

Our relaxing time away was just what we needed. Rachael is an excellent hostess, the cottage was so beautiful and homey, we just felt so relaxed.

We stayed for a few nights in the charming Camellia Cottage. Private, quiet, comfortable and well appointed, everything you need for a relaxing stay. Loved the Heritage walk to town and the peaceful creek. Pleasant efficient host, would recommend.

This is by far the best place to stay in Stanthorpe. The cabins are perfect with a log fire and equipped with everything you need. The property is quaintly appointed on Quart Pot Creek and is a beautiful sprawling property. It was fully booked the weekend we stayed, but we never saw another person due the privacy it provides for each cabin. David and Rachael are wonderful hosts. This is our second stay and there will definitely be more to come.

Absolutely perfect! Beautifully appointed cottages catering for all your needs. Anything we needed Rachel was over straight away The setting is peaceful and serene added with the friendly wallabies hopping past your window Would definitely stay again ☺️

Great atmosphere and facilities. Community shack by the creek is well worth a look. Had a great winery tour picked up from my cottage. Best to use your own mobile internet for TV though as guest Wi-Fi awfully slow.

We just had 2 wonderful nights at Diamondvale cottages, what a delightful place. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we loved everything about it.
The spectacular homestead, Miners Hut with open fireplace, great place for guests to mingle for a happy hour and or byo dinner.
The cottages are lovely, very private, clean and welcoming, we shared with friends in a 2 Bedroom cottage, the bedrooms are spacious enough with the most comfortable king size beds, split systems and ensuites, we all slept very well.
The kitchen is equipped with a slow cooker which is perfect for prepping your dinner to enjoy by the fire in the evening.
Lots to see in do in the Granite belt area.
We are heading home feeling well rested with a selection of wine jams chutneys local produce and some new season apples.

Stayed for a wonferful 2 nights in August. Very tranquil setting yet lots to do if you want to be active. Our hosts Steve and Taya were very helpful in organising a wine tour with a local company. Also had lots of suggestions regarding other local activities. Highly recommend a stay at one of these very comfortable cottages.

Enjoyed our stay in Tea Tree Cottage, beautiful furnishings and decor, loved the Hut and Fire, this is a second time staying at Diamondvale Cottages and will definitely be back and spreading the word, thanks Steve and Taya.

Sadly, only a short stay, however very, very enjoyable! Everything was perfect. The bed was so soft & comfy, the cottage is beautiful, tastefully decorated & well appointed… a home away from home for the night ❤ I'll be sure the next stay is far longer.

Stayed over the weekend. The cottage was amazing very spacious and quiet. The breakfast delicious. Thanks for a relaxing time. The wine tour was a fun experience with lots of purchases to help the local economy.

We have had a beautiful three nights at Diamondvale for our honeymoon. Steven and Taya go above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience for guests. In particular we loved dinner in the Pioneer hut by the river and watching the kangaroos near our cottage. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

My family and I stayed at the the cottages in September… from the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm and humbling welcome! Taya and Steve Were absolutely amazing! We were taken on a tour of the cottages and giving a detailed and heartfelt history lesson that was absolutely amazing on the history of Diamondvale! Was very interesting! They have some absolutely fantastic spots from a beautiful bbq area, camp fire, and a walking track! The rooms! WOW what can I say were absolutely stunning very clean and neat and boasted refreshments, and a beautiful pot belly to keep us warm! The electronics where amazing great for children with internet access and YouTube! The beds were like a dream… the staff went above and Beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need! Amazing information and welcoming folder with up to date activities and amazing restaurants even activities the whole family can enjoy! They truly left a mark on our family … even made some new friends the beautiful fur friends (cottage cats and chickens so friendly) personalized papers and a very thoughtful delicious gift to say thanks! Ample parking… a beautiful quiet place to really relax and unwind! I would no hesitate to recommend Diamondvale to any traveler looking for the perfect place to stay! Will definitely be returning thankyou again for every it was beautiful thanks again taya and Steve for your hospitality

We have just spent the week at Diamondvale Cottages and had a wonderful time. Taya and Steve are definitely the hosts with the most nothing was to much for them and their welcome was fantastic. Will recommend this little slice of paradise to our friends.

Amazing! Taya and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the accommodation is beautiful. We could have stayed and never left! Such a picturesque location and the cottage was everything we could have asked for. We can’t wait to return.

Fun few days with Mum visiting her bestie in Stanthorpe. Lots of wine and good food. Fires all day and night. Wish we had longer. Beautiful country. Very dry and all are rain dancing.

Just spent the weekend at Diamondvale. Wonderful accommodation. Loved the fire. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Stephen and Taya were great. We got the indulgence package which included 5 meals (dinner, breakfast, lunch on the winery tour, dinner and breakfast again) and a winery tour. Great value! Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This Lodge is a really well-laid out house with 4 generous sized bedrooms all leading into a central living area/kitchen. Lots of verandahs to enjoy the amazing views of a lush gully. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating.

We stayed there recently with Australian family. Absolutely fantastic cottage; great location and wonderful hosts. We stayed in the 4 bedroom lodge as a group of four couples near the end of August. The lodge is spacious and well appointed with four large bedrooms, very comfortable lounge and deck chairs, and LOTS of deck space. There is even secure undercover parking (not that it is needed). It is in a nice quite location not far from restaurants (a pleasant walk to the town), and our stay there was most enjoyable. Lots of nice touches from our hosts including the ANZAC slice. This is definitely a place to stay when in Stanthorpe.

We would like to fully endorse all reviews written for Diamondvale accommodation. Our stay was pure magic from the booking through to the experiences we were treated to from arrival to departure. The cottage was beautifully presented with immaculate attention to detail to create an authentic experience albeit with the mod cons that holidaymakers really appreciate. Breakfast was prompt, enticingly presented and greedily consumed (oh that savoury jam…). Staff and owners were jovial and interacted with us like old friends welcoming us into their home. We have travelled widely staying in all styles of accommodation but Camelia Cottage is now our all time favourite. Our welcome pack with recommendations for local eats, treats and delights (of the wine variety) enabled us to squeeze in the most of our day trips and then upon our return, the fire was aflame so that we could kick back and really relax. Thanks Stephen, Taya and your Diamondvale family (especially your beautiful fur babies). We will be spreading the good word to all our friends and customers at Spectrum Electrical and Data.

The attention to detail, super clean, comfortable and well appointed lodge and cottages and amazing heritage cabin, excellent cooked breakfast and warm friendly hosts STEPHEN and Tanya, made our visit the best! Definitely recommend and will come back!

This was my second "10 stars" stay in Diamondvale Lodge — the first for my friends. Like me the first time, they were in awe — everything was once again perfectly perfect. Diamondvale Lodge is a spacious, luxurious home in the heart of Granite Belt country, and we found it to be the perfect base from which to explore the wineries and countryside of the Granite Belt. Everything about our stay at Diamondvale Lodge, from initial booking with the wonderful Stephen and Taya of Diamondvale Cottages, to the welcome notes on arrival, the special treat waiting for us on our last night, and the last day phone call with the lovely Christie, was professional, friendly and welcoming.   The second we opened the door to Diamondvale Lodge we knew we were in for a first class stay. Everything about the Lodge is so very perfect — it was impeccably clean and fresh, the fireplace was lit and warming, soft music was playing, and the view of the country from every room was glorious.  We were two couples and a single for this visit, each having our own sumptuously appointed Queen room with private deck area, and ensuite complete with deluxe bathroom products. Everything we needed was here for us — all kitchen items, premium coffee and tea, BBQ utensils, firewood (replaced daily) — Stephen and Taya have thought of everything. I cannot recommend Diamondvale Lodge highly enough — especially if you are a group of friends looking for quality accommodation under the one roof. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful place to stay for our 20th wedding anniversay. A cosy warm cottage thanks to the fire already for us when we arrived. Gorgeous scenery to watch the wildlife. HIghly recommend if you are visiting Stanthorpe.

Stayed at the gorgeous 4 bedroom lodge and when walking through the front door it was a huge 'WOW' moment. Gorgeous interior and really appreciated the fire and the electric blankets with the cold weather. Owner Taya was delightful and personally showed me how to look after the fire. Definitely will be back for a weekend away with my partner!

So from the minute we pulled up we felt so welcome and part of what was to become a great experience. Taya you run a great business thank you for having the fire on for us Brisbane people who are not used to such cold weather. The personalised note welcoming us what a beautiful touch. Our room was just fantastic, so clean, such a comfortable bed and the pillows were fantastic (sorry pillows really mean something to me lol). We rented the whole site for our wedding in mid-May and all our family and friends had a fab time. We know this because they are still going into raptures about the venue and the excellent support we got from the owners, Taya and Steve. The hospitality they extended to us was beyond excellent, and I simply don't have the superlatives to fully describe just how good these people are. On hand to help in an instant, but not in the least bit obtrusive; extensive local knowledge with great recommendations when it came to caterers; extremely flexible in terms of accommodating the diverse and unusual requirements we had squeezing in all our family and friends; and lovely humble and friendly people you can just sit and have a chat with. My only regret is that I can't give Diamondvale Cottages six stars!

We just returned from our second stay at Diamondvale and can honestly say that it is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed! We spent another 3 nights in the 'Forget Me Not Cottage' for my birthday getaway after spending 4 nights at the same time last year. The hosts, Stephen and Taya, have thought of everything — everything you could need in the kitchen and even bathroom toiletries you may have forgotten. Everything about Diamondvale is perfect — the hosts are amazingly hospitable & friendly, the scenery is beautiful, the rustic settlers hut on the property is the best place for a BBQ and a bonfire and the walks along the creek are stunning. We cannot wait to get back again — we can't wait another year though!

My son and I stayed here for two nights recently. What a beautifully, peaceful property this is. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Property is close to everything in Stanthorpe, but far enough away to provide peace and quiet.

Probably the best place we have stayed at in all our trips round Australia. Beautiful, cosy, individual cottages each with their own character and furnishings and for the winter months, log burning stoves. All are set in the most idyllic, peaceful location overlooking a small creek. All this just five minutes drive from the centre of Stanthorpe. Charming helpful owners we were made to feel like family friends. There is plenty to do in the area from serious walking to fun wine tasting. Highly recommended.

Booked the 'Granite Belt Indulgence' package with an extra night, and it was worth every cent! Stephen, Taya, and Kaitlin are friendly & welcoming hosts, who accommodated all our needs and have an excellent knowledge of the local area. The weather was a bit average, so they ensured the fireplace in our room (Forget Me Not Cottage) was always lit and ready for the cool nights. The cottage was nicely presented, clean and modern. All the included food was delicious. I honestly can not fault our time at Diamondvale, and would definitely stay there again!

The Diamondvale Property is set just outside of Stanthorpe in beautiful grounds alongside the river. A lovely walk runs from the property into town. The cottages are kept immaculately and the owners take obvious pride in both the accomodation and service provided. The cottages are a true home from home with every convenience thought of. It was a truly wonderful weekend bringing 6 family members together and it won't be our last visit to Diamondvale Cottages!

Amazing! Worth every cent and much more. My partner Robyn and I often go to Stanthorpe at this time of year and have stayed at several other cabin/cottage type places, all of which were nice but now we have found Diamondvale, there is no need to go back to any of the others! We spent three days staying in the "Forget Me Not" cottage, we had the best time and the owners, Taya and Steve really couldn`t do enough for us, to make our stay memorable and pleasurable. I have never felt so relaxed and peaceful, we are already planning our next get away, to our new favourite destination.

Stephen and his family are the new owners here. Cannot recommend visiting them enough. The cottages are lovely as is the location and the staff all go out of their way to make the trip great.

We decided to come down to Stanthorpe in time for the cold weather and was blown away with the hospitality and location of the Cottages. We stayed in the homestead and its picturesque location on the banks of the creek made us not want to leave. Inside it was so comfortable and cosy with a wood heater and little touches adding to the country charm. The staff and owners were so kind and helpful, whether it be the incredible welcome we received where we were given greatly useful information about the area and pointed in the right direction for dinner, or the fire being kept up while we were out, the way we were looked after was second to none. I cannot recommend this wonderful location to anyone looking to explore the area, we will be back for sure!

Wow, what a stay! Both Tony and Kerrin were absolutely amazing hosts. We (family of 5) stayed at the lodge for 3 nights, which had 4 Queen bedrooms. It's as you see on their website, perfectly spacious, fully featured kitchen, with enough cutlery to host a proper dinner party if chose and wrap around balcony with a private BBQ for you to enjoy your meals with the outback as backdrop. Needless to say, we were more than satisfied with the lodge itself. When we arrived, Kerrin really spent the time to understand what we wanted to do and help us tailor our 3 day trip in Stanthorpe. This only made our stay in the Granite Belt even more memorable. Thanks Kerrin & Tony for making our trip really fantastic. We'll certainly be recommending your place to our friends! My Husband and I had our Honeymoon here. We stayed in the Forget Me Not Cottage for 4 nights. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and candles lit in our Cottage. Everything was supplied right down to Toiletries in the bathroom. Just in case u may have forgotten ur Hairspray or Shampoo or Deodorant. Surrounded by beautiful Maple tree and flowers. A beautiful fire place which was stocked each day. There is also a Hut there down by the creek that can be used for all guests. It has a fireplace inside it with comfy lounges and a Bbq on the deck overlooking the creek with a fantastic bomfire. . It was beautiful and romantic. Tony and Kerrin were the perfect hosts. Helped us to plan our day going as far as mapping it out so we didnt get lost. We have already booked our first year anniversary for next year. We highly recommend people to go there. I couldn't have asked for a better location for my 30th birthday, which was celebrated over 2 nights with 21 friends. The highlights were fresh flowers, marshmallows over the bonfire, a flowing creek, flowing wine, green rolling hills, cute-as-a-button cottages, an incredibly impressive lodge, a terrific communal hut to hold the party in and outright terrific hospitality. I have nothing but praise and respect for Tony and Kerrin who own and run Diamondvale Cottages. It is clearly a labour of love and they do it very, very well. Thank you for secretly picking up the cake while I was out on a winery tour — it was above and beyond. My friends are already trying to come up with reasons to hold another epic weekend away there.
