My first rating that isn't 4 or 5 stars This place was filthy. Mould growing out the air con. Room full of bugs. There a many better places to stay on the coast.

Beachside units, good sized units, friendly staff, right on the beach.

Nice setting. Brilliant place for a stroll on the beach. Staff were friendly. Parking can be a bit tight, especially for the bigger vehicles.

Great location near the beach.

Gr8 place for family. Gr8 price over xmas period. On the beach no roads to cross. Excellence in cleaning friendly management roomy room for bub. Love love love.

Average place but wonderful location!

Clean and looked after but signs of age are showing through decor. Position is wonderfully with pool lawn and then beach. Family apartment not really what we expected with 2 single beds in the main living area with a double bed in its own room. Bathroom clean.

Stayed here whilst working away, the units are dated but comfortable. The problem I encountered was that they dont give you any notice if they want you to move into another apartment. I had a disagreement with the landlord about this, he came across as very rude and arrogant and non-negotiable. And might I mention that vehicles are very unsafe there. My boat had been scratched with a key right down the side and destroyed the paint, I found it like that after our diaagreement. Do not stay here!

We were here a year ago, so unless it's changed management recently, don't go here! We had specifically asked for one of the units and they gave it away to another customer simply because they wanted it for longer than us. We arrived late in the day so couldn't find any other suitable accommodation with tired kids in tow. The beds' springs were practically sticking out of the mattresses, they were so thin. The place was soooo musty and and filthy! And don't trust your kids on the playground, it's a death trap for young kids — my daughter got her fingers stuck in the hand-made turning wheel within a minute. Lastly, they were extremely rude to us, and we found other accommodation for the duration of our holiday.

Perfect location, right on the beach. The management were brilliant, always making us laugh, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Fantastic units, very clean, generous size, with great facilities. Prime location only a 2km walk to centre of town, units located on beautiful beach front footage. The kids has a ball, we will most definitely be back!

Our family of five had the best time at driftwood. The kids loved the playground and walking to the beach with no roads to cross is great.
The view is breathtaking, the winter sunsets are stunning.
The rooms are clean and well equipped.
The managers were lovely, booking was easy and the manager even rang to check the upstairs room would be appropriate for my youngest which was very reassuring. … Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely setting but watch out… you will be charged without consent from your credit card if you are not careful! Also be prepared for nasty retaliation if you give an honest review! I would suggest the managers undertake a customer care course!

Love staying here with the family when coming to Yeppoon! Clean, friendly and best location!

When I went into the unit I fist noticed the mould all through the shower, and in the kitchen behind the sink. But what really made me sick was when I got a pot out of the cupboard to use and it was full of mould And food. I brought up the issues and they showed me another room but by this point I was put off and asked for a refund and wanted to leave. The owner was extremely rude and refused as she said I was being stupid and unreasonable. She ended up yelling at me and asking me to leave her office. I would not recommend this motel to anyone it is a s@ hole.

Great rooms, great view nice people, will go again.

I stayed at Driftwood with a group of friends. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, they were ideal in setup and clean. Much better than the impression you get looking at the outside. Management was atrocious. Two days before arrival I received an email questioning the authenticity of my booking and demanding that full payment be made immediately. I found Cathy to be unnecesarily abrupt and rude. There were six people in our multiple room booking and none of us will be going back. Meridy Kadel.

Spent 3 Wonderfull days at Driftwood units and found them both spotlessly clean and cheery. Facilities were definately up to the 3star rating and QUIET with easy access to the beach. Read another review on this destination and found it absolutly inaccurate they obviously wanted a 5star accomodation but only prepared to pay for 3 star. With amore than reasonable tarrif we WILL definately be returning to this warm and friendly destination. Can recommend it to you. _ The Maudes.
