We really enjoyed our stay, Amanda was so lovely to us, She helped us out when we needed a place to stay. Rooms for neat & tidy Comfy beds much needed. And room service from restaurant was amazing. & service was prompt. If we’re back up this way, We will definitely be back. Do yourself a favour’ And stay at the overlander.

How rude TV not working so called reception owner arrived and said they are new TVs and wouldn’t work for him either so the owners response was are well I tried 😡 then said just go to sleep then how rude I wouldn’t bother ever coming back to this place we paid good money and got nothing more than rude comments from the owner avoid this place it’s not cheap to stay here and a TV is a pretty basic thing in motels these days 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Lovely rooms, comfy bed, great restaurant, fabulous food with generous portions.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Feels like you’re visiting family. Amanda (the owner) is the loveliest human you could meet. The restaurant service is impeccable, Tanika and the other wait staff don’t miss a beat, and Ty and Dom are amazing chefs, everything is delicious. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms, plus a great relaxation area by the pool. Great relaxed vibe and perfect location to boot. Awesome for kiddies too, they can scoot around the place freely and safely. Love it and will be back for sure. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! Such a peaceful and happy place. PS: The Overlander cob loaf is the most delicious bread thing I have eaten in my life. Seriously. Amazing.

Only had dinner there and it was so nice we ate in the restaurant another 2 times.

We went there last night for our 4th wedding anniversary and the staff were so welcoming friendly the food was soooo good we loved every bite can't wait to go back again 💕💕💕

I have stayed here a couple of times and it’s like family. The rooms are always amazing and the food is the best in the west. From the steaks to the Curries to anything else on the menu 5 stars. Thanks for the amazing stays, look forward to when I am there next.

Nice clean rooms, big bed and rooms have kettle, toaster and microwave.
Rooms are away from the road, so very quiet.
The restaurant is a must. Excellent food, the lamb shanks were amazing and a large meal with fresh vegetables.

I stayed here last night on my huge roadtrip from Darwin to Brisbane. This was night no 4 for me of the 3000km drive. And let me tell you, this hotel is worth 5 stars! An absolutely beautiful spot to stay. The bed was soooo warm and comfortable! I will definitely stay here the next time I made a trip inland. I’d love to explore this cute little town. The staff were so lovely and I felt I was being looked after by family. Dinner in the restaurant was perfect!

Our curries last night from the Overlander were absolutely delicious and delivered to our door so quickly! Fabulous taste and experience!

AmazIng people with the BEST meals, always mixing it up with their Specials Menu, always super friendly! Sit at the bar and enjoy Tom spoiling your with the many characters and their general banter around you, or get a quiet table for you and your guests and let the room engulf you in its ambience! February they have great live piano too.

It's the only place to stay when in Roma Fantastic soft beds Clean Good mini bar Food is out of this world 5 star AND REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR CHEAP MOTELS ARE THAT CHEAP SO SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND HAVE THE BEST NIGHT SLEEP.

Loverly owners, rooms were ok albeit a bit dated but it was nice and quiet.

Fantastic place to stay! Big, clean rooms (we were upgraded to a King room) with restaurant, pool, aircon, fans and loads of pillows. Close to town. Lovely friendly family run business (plus puppies! ) Highly recommended.

Simple meals cooked to absolute PERFECTION. I was blown away by the quality of the food. Recommended for everyone. Reasonable prices friendly staff. Couldn't fault it.

An odd, old-fashioned little place with roaming sausage dogs — but staff were very helpful and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. The family option has a tiny little second room off the main, with two single beds — perfect for little kids but it would be a bit pokey for older ones.

The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked well. However the shower recess door would not stay closed when the shower was running, resulting in a very wet bathroom floor. All things considered, it was quite good. We would stay here again.

The jewel of the gateway to the outback, whether westward bound or on return from, you must stop to"acclimatise". The bar has the cosy feel of an uncles well stocked cellar, the restaurant brings life back into a weary traveller. Rest is all that is left to be done.

Stayed here to break a long road trip. Very friendly family run motel. The rooms have a homestead theme and are all ground floor with easy access. Clean and modern, with the most comfy hotel bed I've found in years. We ate in the restaurant which was also excellent.

Lovely place to stay, generous rooms with all you need. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We had 3 little ones with us and it wasn't a bother. Thank you to the restaurant staff you were great my kids had a blast and the food was AMAZING!

The Overlander is an institution in Roma and with good reason. This family run Hotel is the only place I stay when I'm in town. The staff here are friendly and courteous, the food in the restaurant is spectacular, and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable; can't think of a single thing I'd change.

Just had such a fantastic weekend stay here. We were made to feel completely at home and part of the family. The room was incredibly clean and comfy and we made great use of the relaxing pool. The service at The Overlander restaurant is beyond amazing. The staff are so friendly and the entertainment provided by the girls who help out was next to none. It was such a great atmosphere. We have left feeling refreshed and very happy. Would recommend to everyone passing by =)

Great food. Great rooms. A good family run business.

This is a great example of how a family hotel should be run. The staff are amazing, incredibly friendly, the food is excellent really first class and a great selection of craft beers in the bar. Amanda and Charles have done a wonderful job here keep up the great work and a shout out to Tom a true barman.

Can't speak for accommodation but the food and service is amazing, the beef ribs are the best I have ever had and consistently.

Meals are amazing. Comfortable room although decor is a little old fashioned. Wonderful and friendly staff and the old black dog likes a scratch behind the ear.

This place has the most wonderful meals I have ever come across. The food is fantastic, the staff friendly, the price affordable and decore is inviting. Can't find a better restaurant in town. Would recommend it to everyone wanting a nice meal.
