Just spent 10 nights at the beautiful Pool Resort, Port Douglas. The 3 bedroom apartment is modern & spacious, plenty of room for a comfortable family holiday. The pools are amazing and some of the biggest I’ve ever seen. A great place to stay, perfect.

We just spent our honeymoon here, what a great place, the owners and staff go above and beyond, friendly and helpful. Units are beautiful very spacious well maintained, very clean. Would highly recommend this place to couples or families 10/10

This would be one of the most amazing Resort around the owners are amazing people there friendly personalities are amazing nothing is to much for them and there staff go above and Beyond to much sure you have everything you need my wife and myself had the best honeymoon here and will be back for many more holidays in my eyes you will not be disappointed with this please I would give it a ten out off ten thank you too the owners for our amazing wedding present you have know idea how amazing you made as feel from the time we walked into your office to the sad time we had to leave your amazing resort.

Too far out of town, really need a car! Wouldn’t call it a resort but very clean and tidy.

Donna and her team at Pool could not have been more helpful. From check in to check out everything was perfect. A stylish clean apartment in a quiet relaxing resort is exactly what we needed. Thank you for making our girls weekend one to remember ❤

Stayed here for 9 nights initially in a 2 bedroom then moved to a swim out room. Swim out room was amazing and allowed for easy access to the pool. Apartments are immaculately clean and have all the amenities you need. Donna and Peter are fantastic managers that were accommodating and understanding to our needs due to boarder closures. 5min drive from Macrossan St. Fantastic cafe 1 min walk away. Wi-Fi signal is poor, we couldn’t even get Vodafone it Telstra 3 or 4G. Good to get kids off devices, had to go into town for a coffee to keep business running. Can’t fault this resort look forward to our next stay!

Amazing apartments, exceptionally clean and super comfortable beds!

Our swim out apartment is magnificent. Super comfortable beds and very clean. I have never seen such an amazing pool. Perfect spot to relax and recharge.

We had such a great time at Pool Resort Port Douglas, fantastic facilities and it doesn’t get much better than having an enormous pool right outside your door. Had an issue with our aircon in a particularly hot spell, management were absolutely wonderful and were more than helpful. Couldn’t believe the size of the pool, so much room to move around and enjoy a quiet swim. We couldn’t fault our stay and we will be back!

We loved our stay at Pool Resort. We had a fantastic apartment overlooking the pool. The apartment was so much bigger than we were expecting with every appliance available and very clean. The pool was lovely and clean and we had a great view of the mountains from our verandah as well. I also thought it was a great location, only being 7 minutes from the main street of port Douglas so it’s still very close to everything.

Sweet pool… Rooms are pretty liveable… Heaps of kids frothing in the pool…

THE POOL! My son could not get enough of it and would have liked to stay in it all day long.

The appartments are fine as long as you are totally self sufficient. I guess its just the little things that bring it down from great to just good. Things like no shade in the pool, dusty shelving, lack of indoor dining table, no towel changes and the Inconvenience of needing to take the car to get coffee, go to the beach, go to the shops etc. Our family will probably go with a holiday let or resort next time.

Great place to stay. Not trying to be fancy for the sake of it, everything you actually need like lots of space and appliances and amenities. Great if you have small kids, though perhaps a having few older ones would run out of things to do, but where wouldn't they. Being able to swim out from the large apartment at a very good price is just fantastic for a stressfree getaway. Will be returning 100%.

Our experience was fantastic. Mum with her sons and no transport. Great to have transport within a minute to anywhere I needed a phone call away. Our apartment was quiet, very clean and the view the best. Did not hear other people at all. As for the pool, the boys and I loved it. Room to move, not some small dip pool like some Resorts have. Mind there are private plunge pools if you want them. Will use Pools tour desk next time, I had booked our tours before we left. Loved the housekeeping halfway through stay. Apartments are classy with lovely art work.

Gorgeous place ❤️ loved the private plunge pool. So spacious. The only thing we didn’t love was the lounge & armchairs! Not comfy for family chill out time, lucky there’s so much to do that we rarely needed them! Perfect location next door to choo choos!

Very good place for enjoy the holidays in family or with friends. 5 minutes by car to the centre.

A very small town. Just 3 lanes big. But a nice peaceful quaint little place.

To anyone looking to book the Pool Resort please ensure that you don’t stay in Unit 27. We currently have 2 nights left of our 7 night stay and had to resort to purchasing bags of ice to keep our food from going off in the fridge. Like anyone arriving with a family for a holiday we purchased food for the week on the afternoon we arrived. When getting cereal for the kids the first morning they would not eat it as the milk was not cold and they were absolutely correct. We were on a trip to the Daintree that morning and left prior to opening hours for the Resort office so phoned through to report our concern during the day. When we returned I tried the orange juice in the fridge which was the same temperature as the milk earlier in the morning so we checked in with the management. Instead of showing concern we were basically ridiculed and told that the fridge is on 3 degrees and we must have not shut the door properly as they had gone to the unit and felt the outside of a can of drink which was cold. I attempted to explain that there is some chill to the fridge however it is not cooling food effectively enough to ensure that my family do not get food poisoning in the tropical heat. We were then told, in contradiction to the previous statement that the fridge was at 3 degrees, that they didn’t have a thermometer and that there is no way anyone would come out to look st it on a Friday afternoon. Anyway.

We had a wonderful 7 nights at the Pool Resort in a 2br unit with direct pool access. The unit was clean and modern and included kitchen with dishwasher drawer plus a hidden washing machine, ironing board etc. Being able to keep an eye on the kids from our patio was great, and the tiled floor throughout meant the slightly damp, post-swimming bodies didn't make too much mess. The glassed pool fence had a child lock on the pool side. The fence was a good barrier from the kid's noise in the pool, however it was difficult to communicate with them from the comfort of the deck chairs (beer in hand). The overhead cupboards in the kitchen area are quite low so they took a few hits from our heads before we got used to them. Air conditioning in living and both bedrooms, with ceiling fans in all 3 areas aswell. Dishwasher was very quiet so ok to turn that on at bedtime. We didn't hear any noise from neighbours so I suspect either very good soundproofing or tired and sedate neighbours. The staff were courteous and helpful, organising additional tours for us. Locked, undercover parking is good, but a cpl of things to consider… 1. I believe the door height is around 2.1m, so consider this when you are bringing your own car or hiring one. There is street parking available in limited numbers, but the undercover is obviously more secure and car remains cooler. 2. Many small birds get into the car park area and poop on the cars.

It was in a nice location just out of Port Douglas, only a 5 minute drive into the heart of the town. The pool was fantastic and the view from our top room was phenomenal.

In need of an update of rooms. Great pools and quiet part of town.

A great place to relax and replenish.
Upper level feels more secure and the views across the pool to the golf course and mountains is breathtaking at all times of day.

Modern resort. Nice pool. Unfortunately not keeping up with the maintenance. Aircons not working and wear and tear showing in the rooms.

An amazing experience. The couple that run this resort are so friendly and hopeful. One of the cleanist and well maintained resorts. Super clean and in immaculate would definitely recommend this place.

Nice and calm location, out form the city center. Rooms were large and clean with great staff.

Arrived for our 7 night stay in rooms 37 and 39 found them to be very small. Aircon not working in 37. No door handle on fridge in 39. Furniture not the cleanest no shade to sit on on the balcony tiles very slippery children slipped over a lot no rail to enter into pool it is quite a deep step would not recommend this resort for people with small children as pool is the same depth all over we stayed one night and forfeited another night as it was not what they advertise on their site. We had to book 6nights at another resort to make our stay more enjoyable thank goodness we found one to accomadate all ten of us. I 'm glad we made the decision to leave and lose a nights extra payment even though we weren't staying in the apartments.

Nice pool here and rooms as well. Pool is nice and warm and clean. Well maintained and always clean.

This is first time we stayed at this resort and we will definitely come back. Swimming pool is fantastic in the morning and the afternoon, but simply amazing once kids are asleep.

Super friendly and knowlageble staff. Lovley pools to swim in. Comfortable rooms. Relaxed and casual vibe. Eat at the Choo Choo cafe nearby or call Excellence taxi/Coach to get you to restaurants super cheap all the trips you want around port douglas for $35. The free Wi-Fi is for 2 devices per person and was a bit patchy from our room; so was our Optus coverage :)

Great apartments with all the amenities you need. It goes without saying that the pools are massive, though not very deep at only 1.3m. Town is about 4KM away, which we already knew and is no problem with a car.

Stayed for 5 nights in two apartments with 12 girls. We loved the apartments and the pool was amazing. Felt the apartments on lower level with access to the pool should have own lounge beds, the pool area only had about 12 sun beds which wasn't enough for the size of the complex. Otherwise check in and staff were great and friendly. Location was a bit out of town but easy to get in with shuttle bus, or walk along the beach which takes about 40 mins. And didn't bother us at all. Very clean, had a great time. Thank you.

Relatively quiet area only 5 mins drive from Port Douglas. Clean and luxurious rooms which leads into a small pool off the balcony.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom townhouse with plenty of space and a private courtyard with garden and plunge pool. Just next to us was the main pool area fronting on to two storey apartments. Our kitchen and laundry facilities were excellent with quality appliances. I recommend Pool for a relaxed self catering family holiday.

Family orientated resort style self contained units with a superb swimming pool. No on-site facilities.

Pool Resort in Port Douglas was a wonderful experience. The apartment was large and had everything you needed. The views were amazing looking out onto the Sheraton Golf Course with the Daintree Forrest at the back of the golf course. The 185 meter infinity pool was amazing to see and was relaxing as it was very quite. The Pool Resort team were very accommodating and helpful when booking our tours. Would highly recommend to stay and this tranquil Resort.

We've really enjoyed our stay at Pool Resort. The 3 bed terrace with plunge pool was immaculately decorated, clean, comfortable and spacious. What a fantastic space for our 14 month old toddler, as well as his grandparents. We loved the privacy, the space, the comfortable beds, the very well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathrooms… there is not a thing I would change. We will be back, and I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. (It is a short drive from the centre of Port D, so best to bring a car. )
