Unreal unit swim out, self contained is fantastic.

Been coming to Mantra Aqueous on port for the past 15 years as an owner, it truly is paradise and place for rest and relaxation. Friendly staff, prime location and beautiful swim up pools, the perfect place to unwind.

Spa and pool was delightful

Although a little on the older side, it is well maintained and very clean… great amenities, good size, well stocked and very comfortable, absolutely loving our stay and would totally stay again.

It’s just beautiful. A real surprise when you open the door to your apartment. Clean comfortable and couldn’t really want for anything as they are equipped with everything you’d need. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a 1 bdr with swim out for 5 nights, loved absolutely everything about it, even the outdoor spa on our patio. Great spacious room with everything you need. Staff are very welcoming, perfect location being so close to Macrossen St. Would highly recommend and no doubt will be back 1 day.

Amazing location spotless room I have a room with a spa and straight off the pool. Yes it's winter but swimming in the pool was so warm. And own spa perfect.

Great place. Great rooms. We had a swim up room. It was excellent. Staff were helpful. Friendly. And assisted us with some stuff that was slightly out of the norm. Highly recommend.

Great location and staff. I accidentally left something behind in the room, they mailed it out to me. The post office never left a card to say I had something for pick up, so it was returned to the hotel. They called me to say that it was returned, confirmed my address (it was correct) and resent it out to me again. Went above an beyond to help make sure I got my stuff back. Would stay here again.

Great location, we loved the spa on the balcony. Bbq facilities were handy. They thought of everything including providing us with beach towels for our stay. Only down side was the bed said king size but it was actually 2 singles put together. We had a fantastic stay here at port douglas. Great value for money as accommodation here can be very pricey. I would definitely stay here again.

Room a bit small but overall very neat and tidy. Spa is good and a good size for 2. Rooms are quiet, staff very helpful, this is a big plus.

Spacious one bedroom apartment overlooking one of the four pools. Clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Nice bathroom and adequately equipped kitchen. Staff are friendly and very helpful. No restaurant so no comment in that regard.

Staff very helpful. Apartments well stocked and very comfortable. Spa apartments nice and relaxing. Not 100% roll in showers due to position of toilet in bathroom. But lovely for able bodied guests. Might be worth a phone call before if this is a priority. Great location 50mtrs to main street and easy access to restaurants and cafes.

Pretty awesome setup got an end room which seems very large could easily host a family. Place could have been a touch cleaner but really pretty spot on. Loving it this far.

Quality accommodation close to main street and reasonable walk to beach. Comfortable well appointed rooms there two pools and underground parking for guests.

Only here for 3 nights but the people here can't do enough for you. Up graded us because we had so much luggage. Everything you need in the apartment if you want to stay a while longer. Highly recommend this place. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants, just around the corner 2 minutes away. We love it.

Upon our check in we were advised that there was work being completed on the decking and that our room has been upgraded to a bigger room to soften the blow. When we arrived to our room there was constant hammering, sawing and power tools which was extremely disruptive. The staff although being quite nice couldn’t do anything for us even though they asked when we checked in why we are away and our response was ‘to just relax’.
I understand they have picked a quiet time to do …these works and that they are necessary but we had NO communication about these works before we booked (which was only 2 days before) if we had or know we would have gone to one of the other mantras or across the road to peppers! Also there are signs around the complex staying that power tools are not to be used before 9am, I am currently typing this at 8:30am with power tools going strong in the back ground! So much for a relaxation holiday! At the end of the day we are paying customers and no one really wanted to do anything for us, there are several other branches of this accomodation but no one thought for to move us… What was the point!

The place certainly looks good with heaps of swimming pools. We stayed with a party of people and each room is different. Pick wisely and you'll love it. Very close to main shops.

For the price there's little wrong with Aqueous, the rooms are clean and the staff accommodating. But with shutters, not windows, as the only protection from the cigarette smoke wafting from neighbouring balconies we were prepared to move hotels to be more comfortable. Thankfully, with 100% vacancy, management still found a different room and our stay was much more comfortable. Queensland law allows people to smoke on their balcony, regardless of the house policy. Amazing this is allowed in 2018.

Happy with our stay here! Pools were really nice, staff were great and helpful. No free Wi-Fi unfortunately, which should probably be standard these days. Clean room, simple amenities, no frills. Excellent location for easy access to everything.

Great rooms and pools. They charge for Wi-Fi and didn't include service even though we stayed 7 nights. This is why I gave 3 stars. Otherwise it was great!

Very noisy machinery next door that runs 24/7. Most uncomfortable deck chairs I have ever sat on. But no other complaints. Friendly staff.

Central… right near the shops and walking distance to the beach. Its clean and, well manicured gardens and has 4 great pools… though they are deep. There is a ledge but toddlers wouldnt be able to wade in them freely.

The room we stayed in was large and bright enough to do a jigsaw in. We liked the balcony with spa. There are no sea views but instead we looked over the pool and tropical palm tree gardens. The large rooms could do with a refresh but all is forgiven for the fabulous location. The bed and pillows were really good and we slept well. The kitchen for self catering was well equipped.

Best experience ever! Staff were the best, helping us out with anything and everything. Got them lamingtons as a thanks. :) wish we could stay longer.

Stayed here three nights on a couples holiday, LOVE the spa on each balcony and 4 pools in the complex! Wonderfully quiet & relaxed atmosphere. Conveniently close to food, shopping, the beach & the marina. The male concierge recommended some dining options, all of which were fabulous. He made our stay very pleasant with such a warm welcome & introduction to Port Douglas.

My girlfriends and I recently stayed at the Mantra Aqueous. The front of house staff were lovely and very informative. The location was fabulous and so to were the pools. Unfortunately our stay was tarred by an unclean kitchen including wine glasses still with lipstick and coffee cups with coffee in them. Our fridge was also incredibly loud. Both these matters were reported to the front desk.
Whilst having a glass of wine on the balcony the night manager used his master key to enter our apartment. I have followed this up with general management who have advised that it is standard practise and that there were no concerns with the night managers actions. Whilst making the complaint I also requested the complaints policy which was denied.

Close to town and harbour. Room was tidy, clean and very serviceable. Outside jacuzzi a very nice touch. Staff friendly and helpful. No free Wi-Fi but 3 day pass 20 dollars.

The hotel is basic but we loved the swim up pool, our own private access to the water from our room was so good & the spa on the balcony was great as well. Just a short walk to the beach & the main street makes this place a perfect location to enjoy all that Port Douglas has to offer. Would stay here again & again.

Very basic but enjoyed the stay and very well positioned. The pool is great.

Room was nicely kept, great facilities. Pool had both sun and shaded areas. Spa on the balcony was a nice touch.
