Amazing weekend. Absolutely beautiful location and the staff are the most incredible bunch, very welcome, lots of fun and what service!

Just had a day visit and WOW what a beautiful place this is. The staff are amazing and everyone is so friendly. The food was to die for,. Thanks Chef. Cant wait to come back again. Next time we will stay for a few day's.

The most beautiful. Peaceful resort in fnq. The service is impeccable and the management and staff take exceptional care of their guests. The food is also brilliant. Very welcoming to all respectful adults.

Over 18's at this time of the year (yay) along with super friendly staff. Gold Star resort managers who run a resort where everyone can mingle, chat and have dinner with someone interesting or if you like to have a quiet day you can have that to. No reasonable request is to much to these guys. Highly recommended for all who are lovers of all types of humans.

A relaxed and friendly staff. The location is fantastic to rejuvenate the soul.

The General Manager is very rude and degrading. He needs to remember that the guests pay his wage. Ignorance and aragance are not good qualities Would never reccomend this place to anyone. And have reported this business.

Being able to enjoy the beachfront room we stayed in last time was amazing.

I had the best time. Came with a friend to enjoy some nude beach time and couldn’t have been made feel more welcome. Nathan, the manager and all the staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. You can have a private table for 2 or sit at the big table with everyone for meals and it’s a great way to meet and chat. We stayed for 10 nights and had an absolute blast!

Great location, hidden away from the world with no access other than the road in, by water or sky. Very much Adult only though as the area is clothing optional.

A very beautiful and relaxing place. The staff were super friendly, the food was good and there was a great vibe and atmosphere around the resort.

Really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly, took good care of us and we felt like at home. The room was clean. If I have to say something I will say maybe some bacon for breakfast, roast tomato or mushrooms to go with the eggs. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful place, amazing surroundings, great sea views, great beach, tasty food, various yummy cocktails, friendly staff, gorgeous pool and heated spa, and the list goes on, definitely coming back here.

The setting is amazing, next to a lovely beach. Wifi can be patchy but there's 4G mobile reception with Optus now. The beachfront rooms are the nicest, but it's better to spend more time around the pool or on the beach.

Mediocre furnitures but stunning and incredibly quiet environment. Pretty much 99% gay frequented, but very open and friendly to anyone.

Delish food and great service.

Great atmosphere, fantastic staff and incredible view. No Wi-Fi in the rooms but works well as it gets me out of the room and socializing. One of the best places I've ever stayed and the food was so good I'll probably head back just for lunch.

Location is the key for this place. You can't beat the view. Private and no children. Accommodation thou needs some attention and sprucing up but room nightly cost is pretty competitive considering the amazing surrounds. Staff are lovely but don't expect more than 3 star service.

It's very nice resort for people who just want a nice and quiet weekend away from big cities like Sydney. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I definitely will stay there again.

Just stayed for drinks on a road trip back from Port Douglas, good atmosphere, be better on a fine day, bar staff was quiet friendly and helpful. Very accepting of Day visitors, be mindful, though as it is strictly adults/ LGBITQ friendly resort.

My partner & I stayed here for 5 nights. The staff & food are excellent. The menu has a great variety of dishes & different everyday. Mike has been great in entertaining the guests, & super helpful in helping with some bookings & recommendations. Loved hanging out with mike, he does an incredible job in running the bar & serving the guests. I have to say the rooms are a bit tired & due for a makeover. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay

I have been to this place by the sea, within National Park a few times now. Mainly gay men from all walks. Staff aways friendly helpful and genuine. Many return visitors, day visitors, locals, varied. Easy to be here alone or not. Food is pretty good emphasis on good main courses. No Wi-Fi in rooms so bring an Optus SIM.

Turtle Cove is a beautiful place, our sixth time here. The place to really relax, interact with other people. Food is great. Staff very friendly and efficient. We will be back.

Love Turtle Cove. Thank goodness it is there! Just one thing that would really help the locals who come up for the day or the weekend. Turtle Cove has quite a few weekends where the place is booked out. It would be fantastic to have the dates that the place is booked out on your web page or on your Facebook page, or both… … This would help the locals who drive up and then get met with a "closed for private function" sign. It would also help those planning a holiday to know in advance that paradise is available … or not. Just an idea.

Pluses: Fantastic location, very friendly and courteous staff, tasty evening meal. Allowed me to rest in a room for a couple of hours at no charge when I was a day visitor and feeling tired/unwell. Minuses: Room not spotlessly clean (gecko droppings, dead bugs, big live spider, soap residue on shower), well decorated (no pictures), or well appointed (just the basics – no guest compendium – plus a TV that shows porn and movies). Everything a bit run down, although the tropical climate and distance from Cairns plays a part (rusty air conditioner units and lower fridge door, torn fly-screen, curtains coming off hooks, paint coming off outdoor furniture, etc. ). Breakfast food lacking in variety and presentation (fresh fruit and yoghurt, boxes of cereal, fresh juice, tea/coffee, hard boiled eggs and toast). Somewhat over-priced for what you get.

My stay at Turtle Cove in January 2014 was a great time. The location of the resort is a little remote, and hence very relaxing and undisturbed amongst like-minded people who quickly became friends. The Turtle Table is a great concept — a communal table for anyone who wishes to dine with fellow travelers and potentially make new friends. Sitting at this table suggests you are open to company and conversation with others. Especially great if you are traveling alone. In fact almost everyone sat at this table. The quality of food was great. Being so remote you have little option to dine elsewhere without traveling into town (20 min drive). The food was good and priced reasonably. They also have a massage room — book your massage the day ahead and they arrange a male masseuse to come in. It was the best massage I ever had.

When Gay aint Great The beach, view and location can't be beat, unless the food, service and staff screw it up. Turtle Cove's location is amazing. The ocean and palm trees are spectacular. Breathtaking skies and a lovely dining area overlooking it all are ideal as one can imagine. But the staff and especially the food screw up your vacation. The Food: The food is just bad. You are a captive audience and basically eating at the resort as there is nothing around for miles. The food is reheated, microwaved and thrown together. Breakfast is extremely disappointing with hard boiled eggs and bad toast as the features. Dinner was also bad with bland and cheap ingredients. Worse. Dinner is suppose to be at 6 and the staff is so disorganized that it was late. Also if you don't eat during their exact times, even though they start late there are only potato chips and a candy bar available, nothing else and no place to go for food either. No late night snack, nada! The Bar: The Bartenders, who double on their job from all other roles, are incapable. They have a drink menu on the wall and the bartenders have to run over and look to see what the ingredients are. Worse a mixed drink is $19, yep $19 each. Then the bartenders are so busy trying to get dinner ready they just disappeared from happy hour altogether where 10 of us were waiting to get a drink one evening. Other Staff Highlights: The staff mostly is so busy and behind they don't say hello and greet you very nicely.
