While the room was mostly lovely and it was a quiet peaceful place to stay unfortunatly our bathrooms werent overly up to scratch. Mould spours in the grout of tiles and previous guests had made a mess on a wall which we cleaned ourselves in the end. We would stay again but would be checking bathrooms closely next time.

Family had a great time here at Moorings on Cavill staff service were nice and the accommodation was great. We would deffinently book here again and would definitely recomend to others. Thanks Erin & jon.

Great rooms with really comfy big beds but very very loud road noise unfortunately, so no sleep ins 👎 Great view from the balcony looking over the pool and river.
But parking is awful, such a tight spot was given I damaged my car 😭

The property is well maintained, very comfortable, like a home away from home. Views over the water & city are awesome & we love we can walk to everything.

Grubby, noisy and worn out. There were so many dirty parts (windows, floors, curtains) it was impossible to believe the rest was Covid level clean! Single pane glass facing a loud road.
We had four nights booked and checked out after one. They refuse to give even part of our money back and the manager was patronising when I spoke of the noise as though we would have it anywhere.
Don’t waste your money!

My sister booked a week because we were planning on meeting her (we are from nsw) she tried to cancel today and they refused to refund ANY of her booking. Now obviously this in unprecedented times and the reason for cancelling is not as simple because of change of mind, it’s because THE CARONA VIRUS is stopping us to travel to meet them. Now our side was reasonable — either a cancellation fee or provide a voucher to extend the travel until later next year. They REFUSED and instead kept $1k of her money with no services provided.
never stay here they are no better than coman theives.
Obviously I am going to be looking into other avenues to get her money back but in the mean time I don’t want other people booking thinking these are good people who deserve their patronage. They dont.

Professional and friendly customer service from all workers and managers! Our room, on the 14th floor was spacious, well air-conditioned for the summer heat, clean and luxurious. All hotel facilities were great including the spectacular swimming pool and outside gardens. Close to the SeaWorld bus, local shops and river cruises I would recommend staying at Moorings on Cavil Avenue any day of the week! Was a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful 7 nights on the top floor overlooking the river. Great location and close to all shops and restaurant's. Already looking forward to coming back soon.

Perfect place to base and indulge the renowned surfers paradise has to offer. Walking distance to the malls and the surf. Good value for money stayed 12 days and would come back again. Level 13 room 65 is the best ever side of the building. Watch amazing sunrise every morning in our balcony.

Staff helpful. The view is amazing and picturesque. Wuiet most of the time and would definitely return.

5 out of 5 stars good customer service and friendly The apartments are good size rooms and very clean. Had a few issues but they fixed the issues straightaway with the car parking. Good view of the Gold Coast channel with boats trip through the channel right outside the apartments and walking distance to Cavill Shopping Mall and to the trams aswell short driving distance wherever you need to go on the Coast.

Have stayed here a few times and absolutely loved it. Great spacious rooms, friendly staff and great amenities — especially the pool and BBQ area.
Would recommend to all my fam and friends. And Shardy the office doggy just tops the cake.

Decent sized rooms at a good price. The apartment was a little old but was well kept. It allows smoking on the balcony with the doors closed and has a strict no loud noise policy after 10PM. Was definitely worth the money, since it was so close to Cavill.

Only the briefly to visit friends. Great location, but building interior starting to show is age.

Stayed here in June. Perfect choice for our family. Great views, cooking facilities, great location. I really could not have asked for anything more. Extremely Happy with Moorings on Cavill to the point where anything I say would be an understatement. Thank you so much.

Great roomy apartment very clean and freshly Renovated. Superb river view from wrap around balcony. Air conditioning in each room is a bonus. Would definitely stay again. Loses a star for very small underground car park space. Overall very happy with this apartment.

Great hotel, friendly staff and the location is perfect. Not too close to the action but but not too far from the nightlife.

Excellent location. The penthouse on level 14 was comfortable and the pool was fabulous. Staff were very friendly.

Highly recommended this place I'm currently staying here for 9 days and I couldn't have chosen a better place, it is very local to everything literally 2min walk from shops etc and what a beautiful view from my room (Delux) Thank you Tracey and your team really appreciate the welcome Defiantly will book here again.

It is absolutely beautiful location and amazing view. Very lovely furnished place. I'm still staying here we are leaving on Monday and I will never come to this place ever again. I can't get it how they can rate as a 4 star? Kitchen items were dirty and nothing in a proper working condition. There is a lamp in the room broken and can't connected, dishwasher so old you have to play with it to get it work. Shower door so hard to open your habd gets stucks between shower door and towel rack. Vacuum cleaner it doesn't work. There is a mop but not even bucket for it. People above me like an animals truly. Extremely noisy I feel like roof it is going to claps on us. I have reported so many times terrible service. They are very unfriendly and rude. They don't care. You can't even enjoy the pool area people smokes can't breath. Waste of money and disturbing. Haven't been sleeping well since we have been here. I have been other countries way better service and much more. We pay so much in here getting nothing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Moorings on Cavill, It was central to everything we needed and the one bedroom apartment was perfect for our stay. The apartment was clean, tidy and well presented. Reception staff were very friendly, views of the river are fantastic and nice pool area too.

Reception staff lovely, lovely views and nice pool area; however our room was out dated, cleanliness was not great with dead bugs and feathers on carpet, lounge covered in stains and used soap in shower among other stuff left by previous visitors. Nice layout but needs some work. Close to shops and walking distance from beach. Location is great! Stayed with others who had nicer /cleaner rooms if I was to stay again would ask for the modern rooms.

Not good at all. First of all the whole apartment was dirty. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Secondly you had to buy your own toilet paper you only get one roll. Thirdly the whole apartment stunk really bad. And finally the air conditioner wasn’t even working to begin with.

Moorings on Cavill is a lovely apartment block that is both central and also somewhat secluded. The rooms are a good size although needing a slight facelift. The entertainment area is well done and the pool is a hit with the kids.

Stayed in the Penthouse facilities were good, location was great handy to all transport and supermarkets. Reception staff were helpful and friendly would stay here again.

Very good value for money and great location! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the apartment — we booked a 2 bedroom budget apartment — and it was spacious and welcoming. We brought our own amenities and made a great stay of it. The water pressure in the shower is really good — and they have lots of tourist information sheets in the lobby.

The apartment is very modern and has got 360* view from both rooms and all living. Nice n close to shopping and surfers paradise beach everything is at door step best place we stayed in. Would love to come back here again.

Definitely not coming again. Firstly wasnt happy with the 200 charge when nothing was made clear about it, then have to wait 5 days later to receive money back… 2ndly no Wi-Fi and 3rdly the foxtel box doesn't even work.

The location is very convenient, next to the river, can be 20 Australian dollar sitting river cruises, room facilities, cooking very convenient, long-term living is very convenient.

Brilliant place to stay, amazing view, close to everything! Would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Surfers Paradise. Staff were very helpful anytime we needed help!

Near to shopping centre. Water view and near to bus station and tramp also the staff were very friendly.

From first phone call booking our rooms to checking in what wonderful staff, we stayed on the 14th floor and our young adult kids on the 10th floor, clean tidy and presented well, love love loved the river views, down stairs they have a pool which is warm, spa, sauna, kiddies pool, outside shower, bbq area, very well kept clean beautiful gardens, also smokers can smoke on the balcony with ash trays provided (i dont smoke) so close to everything walking distance to coles, woolies restaurants trams night markets and the beach. Thank you to the new management for a wonderful stay this weekend gone. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely place. 5 minutes to Surfer's Paradise Beach.

It was a lovely and spacious apartment and had a great pool and BBQ area. My only criticisms would be the cleaning could be a bit more detailed. We found a couple of bobby pins on the carpet of the first bedroom and the carpets on the insides of the wardrobes were quite dusty but poor cleaners are probably in a rush like they always are being time-restricted and all. Otherwise, close to all amenities and lovely balcony view of river and busy hub of Cavill Ave. Well recommended!

Amazing experience! The facility and room was exceptionally good and for the price, it cannot be beaten. Location was good, but the heated pool and large beautifully furnished rooms are something else. Will definitely be heading here every time I have a holiday on the Gold Coast.

Good apartment but Wi-Fi starts when u check in not when u log in, and it was made unclearly.

I recently stayed for 5 nights in a 2 bedrooms apartment. The room and the facilities were amazing. We plan to come back soon. Adrian.

Fantastic place overlooking the river, right on Cavill Ave. 3 minute walk to party/pub/club central.

We are still here and love how close it is to everything but not to close you cant here the cars or anything.

We spent 3 nights at The Moorings on Cavill Ave, and it was brilliant. The unit was amazing. It had everything we needed, and the views were outstanding. It's so conveniently located. A short stroll to the beach, restaurants and transport. We mainly saw/spoke with Margaret (building manager), and she was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this spot. We will be back! BSR, Sydney.
