Went there with 2 kids and hubby best hotel it was very really clean pools were awesome definitely going bk in may.

Best view ever and location amazing.

Friendly people and good at their job.

We are very happy with our stay here and it meet our over all expectation. This is our first holiday in the goldy and so far we are very well satisfied with everything, I highly recommend this place! Budget friendly and the receptionist is very well accomodating. ♥️ The only thing that can be improved is the lock in the rooms, I find it not too secure it needs an updating.

Very disappointed that the upkeep/safety of their guests is not number 1 priority. I was unable to allow my kids on the balcony due to fear.

Relatively spacious with a very nice ocean view, however the interior design is dated. Please also note that these are serviced apartments, rather than a fully serviced hotel.

We had two rooms booked to be on the same floor but ended up on different floors. One was very well appointed but the other was quite basic with limited cooking and eating utensils. Great location though, close to beach and cavill, without being too close.

Where does one start, very disappointed that we could not use the outside facilities, the pools looked great on the brochures. We were told long after we had booked and paid for our stay that there would be outside painting done, but that it wouldn't affect our stay, even our welcome letter had no apology or explanation that the pools and BBQ areas were out of action. The rooms were in need of update and a good clean, tho the kitchen was very good, there was no air conditioner. We enquired about a DVD player at the desk, there was one on the TV which had been disabled along with the device support. We were told that we could hire one and have it installed at the cost of 40 dollars per night. The receptionist we found to be unhelpful and not very friendly. Also the brochures gave the impression that there was wi fi but as we found out only at a cost. The painting being done also included renovations and as I am typing this there is drilling noises in the apartment above us which starts very early in the morning. If I had been told this I would have definitely changed my booking to another place. I'm here for a holiday of which I rarely have time and money to afford.

Stayed here recently for a short break on the Gold Coast. Great location as within walking distance to the beach, the shops and restaurants. The apartment and building itself is a little tired and outdated. Apartment had everything you needed for a stay and was very clean. Outside windows on one side very dirty and difficult to see out of. The apartment on the other side had a great view of the beach and ocean. Would stay here again but found the car park very tight to drive around in and actually park my suv. If you have a big car such as a land cruiser you may find it difficult to park here.

As a Mantra hotel I expect the best and this staff member brings that name shame. I recommend this hotel to everyone but warn them of the unwelcoming reception.

Awesome place amazing views over the beach we are on the 22nd floor in a large 2 bedroom recently renovated unit with ensuit.

The apartment was very spacious, well furnished and equipped with modern amenities. The hotel offers a range of facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, spas and a hot tub, as well as a sauna, gym and tennis court. There are also barbecue areas, a children's play area and an underground car park. The majority of reception staff are friendly and helpful, except Sharon who has been rude and uninviting on both stays here, apart from her, I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful view from 18th level. So many swimming pools with proper gym with enough weights. Best part is beachfront.

The location and facilities were fantastic but the actual apartment was the biggest let down ever. It hasn't been refurbished since I stayed there over 20 years ago. The kitchen was so old and things barely worked. The carpet was lifting and there were portable air conditioners which were noisy. I would not stay here again unless you were guaranteed a refurbished room. Very disappointing.

Luxury hotels with great ocean views. Air conditioning if it gets to hot and in a perfect location near shops and other stuff.

I stayed on the 27th floor awesome view close to everything staff are friendly will be coming back to stay again in the future.

Great location right across from the beach. Close to all the amenities of surfers paradise. Nice pool area indoor and outdoor. The grounds are a bit dated but kept very clean. Apartments are spacious with great ocean views. Outdoor BBQ area if you are in the mood. Great for families or couples looking to relax.

The peninsula, looking at the apartments from the outside give it a bad rep. Infact it is quite an old building hence why it looks old and not exactly inviting. However, once you step into a room you will understand the meaning of "dont judge a book by its cover". Every room has been fullly renovated recently with a open place spacious area in every room. Highly recommend. Have a look for yourself!

It was a pretty good hotel but is a better living space but the whole hotel is great and really nicely layed our untill you get to the bathroom there is mild growing out th light in the bathroom and all around the bath tub witch you have to stand in because it’s in the shower I had to wear thongs on the shower but over all the hotel is nice well decorated and clean and a nice place to stay.

Awesome location. Across the road to the beach. Photo is of balcony view of new years 8 oclock fire works. Units are individually owned so results may vary. But all neighbours seemed happy. Great for family's. Good security.

This Airbnb apartment is great and cosy. Everything's u need u will have it. Good for family of 4-5 person. Got cable TV.

Stayed 7 nights with my wife recently in a 1xbedroom located on level 39 The building is a little tired and I guess the apartment inside was as well But location and the views were fantastic Would stay again.

Amazing views, good indoor outdoor swimming facilities. A quick stroll across the road to the beach.

Now undergoing renovation. Slightly old interior in the common area. There are sea view flats in this building.

Best thing about the place was the location. Worst thing was the parking situation. Don't waste your time if you have a 4wd or van (unless you love feeding meters and paying tickets). The thing that really pissed me off was how the body corporate (without any warning mind you) locked off all the parking out in front of the entrance to the building. If my work wasn't paying I would have demanded a refund and left. Absolute joke. I would never stay there again.

We have stayed here a few times before and haven't had a problem. This time however, I feel I should speak up. We hired a 3 bedroom sub penthouse for our family for our daughters 18th. Drove 3 hours, checked in and got to our room on the 40th floor and it was completely filthy. There had been work done in the hallway and there was dust EVERYWHERE. If you hit the beds, dust would fly everywhere. The manager came up and after saying how disappointed I was, she offered us a two bedroom apartment, which only had enough hot water for one person by the way, for the night until the room was cleaned first thing in the morning. I asked for a reimbursement for the first night and she mentioned something about vouchers. The next day, after lunch, we get into our room which was clean and we were happy with it. When we checked out two days later, I again mentioned being reimbursed for the first night at least and the lady at reception said the manager would be in contact with me within a couple of days. It's been 5… I'm annoyed as I paid $1100 up front and didn't get what I paid for. Its just not good customer service and certainly not the way I would be running this business.

Our 2nd stay it was ok family happy with much lower level thank you, unfortunately we could smell neighbours cigarette smoking almost daily, inadequate blankets fr the colder nights, and the most unfortunate was using both tags to get in the 2nd floor carpark otherwise definitely will return again.

Good view and location but that's about it. Can't open bedroom window for air and bedroom light broken — basic maintenance things not sorted or checked. Moving bed into living room which you shouldn't have to do when paying this sort of money. Wi-Fi is not free and won't connect more than 1 device when payment has been made for 3 — says ask reception — closed. Rubbish service in this day and age.

Our first room view was good only good thing about it when we stayed in Thailand our room was cleaner than it bed was hard as a rock, but the staff were great about the matter and upgraded us to a deluxe room witch is beautiful.

The views and room sizes were very good. Access to Beach and Cavil Ave were excellent and all within a short walk. However the bathrooms were old and outdated — 1970's style. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and Air Conditioner did not work. Kitchen and lounge were just okay. Some of staff members were also rude and short. This was a very uncomfortable stay for the price.

Stayed in apartment 26B. Walked in and we were in awe of the apartment. The apartment was amazing, very spacious, awesome views from every room. Has been recently renovated and the owners have to be commended on the job they did… faultless!
Apartment block is close to all amenities, beach across the road, 3 pools, spa, sauna and gym facilities.
Would definitely book with the owners again

Just stayed there for a week. It's was out first family holiday, so it was great… the rooms were very clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped. We found the staff to be very friendly. Going with 2 teenagers it's was so close to everything thing… The spa and indoor pool we used everyday which was great… We will stay there again definitely. A great place to stay☺

Stayed here only 2 days ago and I would never stay at this place again. We hired a 3 Bedroom we paid $2389 for 7 nights. The 3 bedroom are so dated and needs maintenance and need to be improved in a big way. The showers in the bathroom leak more than what comes out of the shower heads told you have to paid for toilet paper. Bed are really bad if you moved it felt like it would fall apart plus blankets look like a homeless person had just used them and the smell. As you step of the lift the smell was so bad you feel like you would be sick. This place is not a good place to stay seeing how we spent this much money do not stay here saving your money. Car parking ''please park your car in the yellow dots for guests'' the lady tells us at the front counter, well I think they only have 5 so if you can't find one you have to park your car out the front and it can be taken away and then you have to pay $380 to get it back. We spent 35mins in a upper and lower carpark one night just trying to find a carpark. I spoke to a man that lives here at breakfree peninsula and he said it is bad place to live at and the staff are rude to them all the time. Staff are not friendly at all. We were told when we booking with escape travel that there was free Wi-Fi and I also rang breakfree myself and was told the same thing but getting there the lady now tells me that you have to paid for it. Don't look on there website or in the books from the travel gents because the photo's are so old.

Was very secure and spacious however the clenlieness was very poor and the lack of hospitality and friendliness of the hotel staff left me feeling rather disappointed and ultimately was cause of our hotel change to q1

Good for what you pay for.

Wonderful location and view, but very very bad service, I have asked for several things but the staff was rude and they didn't provide me with a good service, some of the apartment spot light was not working I have asked them to change it but they didn't and I have found a Cockroaches in the toilet and I asked for a pest control ignore my request. I feel sorry for the good location and bad service.

Stayed in unit 30B which was ocean facing. Watched sunrise over the ocean which was amazing. 2 min walk to the beach and a few mins to the centre of surfers paradise shops, supermarket and restaurants. Spacious 2 bed 2 bath. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Great place to stay. Location and views excellent. Apartment was huge and facitiies were great. Staff were very helpful.

The view was wonderful but the windows and doors have not been cleaned for a long time. The furniture is old and musty. Needs a refurbish. I realise these are privately owned, but the owners need to be told to renovate. We got air con and sea view as requested.

Planning on a great holiday in a 4 star apartment, what we got wasn't entirely satisfying. As we entered the apartment, we were disappointed to find no air-condition in sight. It did not meet our requirements as we paid a very high price and, reasonably we clearly asked for an air-conditioned unit. The dirty, sweltering so-called '4 star luxury' apartment was not what we expected. we booked through flight centre parramatta. We are unsure of who was wrong but be careful where you book your next holiday accommodation.
