The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lobby has a strange feeling to it though. Feels like walking into an RSL Club rather than hotel/apartment. Hard to describe. The hallway to elevator also has strange feel to it as well. Kinda spooky.

Very quiet which makes it good for relaxation. Staff are friendly fully self contained apartments. Awesome pool.

Great location, room exceeded my expectations. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in B163 — Unit although big in size lacks many items in the kitchen area. Dangerous shower in deep bath. Needs at least a non-slip mat. Refuse area outside our door was very smelly with no staff on at the weekend to empty. OH &S would have a field day — exposed wiring on iron. Wouldn't stay there again.

Lived there for a few months 2016/2017. The good: the location is convenient. The bad: this place has become de facto student housing – with all the noise and trash everywhere that this entails. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, so even normal noise from your neighbours (conversation, tv, etc. ) is audible. Gym is infrequently cleaned (saw trash remain on the floor for 1+ week). Pool area is nice but needs updating – some furniture is broken and ripped. Avoid apartments near the lift (e. G. 40, 61, 82) — the stench from garbage chute (next to the lift) is disgusting, and the constant dinging from the lift is annoying, especially late at night. Staff are fairly apathetic about their jobs for the most part… but they’re especially unhelpful if you rent through a rental agency rather than Chancellor directly (I got pulled out of a meeting at work because the receptionists could not deign to point the electricity guy towards the door leading to the garage/where the meters are… they won’t hold a parcel, won’t let delivery guys in… etc etc etc. ). Would not recommend that business folk/academics/normal adults stay here.

On arrival with some expectations as first time here ever – after a frustrating struggle with their after hour and their also unclear instructions somehow managed to get into the curly car park ok but not a pleasant start at all. Signs at reception and in the room are unwelcoming. In the small one bed room – Wi-Fi instruction again unclear and did not work, the toilets and bath looked soiled and stained and supplies were quite inadequate for three of us for the first night. In kitchen dishwasher was covered in dirty water at its base inside and the utensils looked unclean etc. We were asked to contact their after hours by the reception the day before but the after hours reception told us over twice nothing could be done until the next morning. The spring bed is loosely supported and felt sharp. Unfortunately just like the other reviewer I had no other options but I would certainly not recommend. Wifi is not free and its pricing is not listed as well in the room. There are other unpleasant issues but their reception staff (extremely rude) argued back in detail by email (their management staff not responding) making us feel all very unsettling and unwelcome. In my experience as frequent family travellers to and from Gold Coast Queensland Australia in particular, we should all read much more about the genuine negative reviews to ensure value for money and ongoing supports from the establishments when you need most for your pleasant stay.

Apartments are great, but lack clothing storage space. Management is the worst I've ever seen and or met in my life and I have travelled extensively. BAD ATTITUDE an RUDNESS FROM the supposed MANAGER and SENIOR STUFF are the characteristics of this place. Do not expect any help whatsoever from them, specially if you work at odd hours of the day or night and got locked out of the premises. Be prepared to pay $100 fee for staff to come and help you open the door. Rates are also very expensive. I would rate them minus five if I could. Lived there for about one year and half. Don.

0 starts! This place is absolutely disgusting. Moved in for long term stay. Place was dirty, the cooking appliances are disgusting — we put them away and bought our own! The bathroom was disgusting and the toilet has constant running problems! Emailed to get thins looked at, never got sent a professional, it was always someone coming in with simply a spray and a cloth to clean everything. The guy actually cleaned our bath tub and proceeded to clean out kitchen with the same cloth. During the stay everything just seems to be breaking down, especially the toilet. The manager there Is so unhelpful and has big attitude. For the price we pay we should receive a better maintained apartment with better service! It's appalling!

Very unprofessional with how they deal with their customers.

Accommodation OK, bed not very comfortable, and sagging to one side, object to having to empty my own trash can, frying pan and cups dirty, these are serviced apartments OK? Stay could have been made more welcoming, for the price you pay it would not be asking too much for few provisions, like a 500ml milk (instead of small tetra pack 120ml? ), pkt of biscuits, or 1/2 bottle of wine, maybe some fruit?, some decent instant or ground coffee in stead of the disgusting gravy browning like powder. Charging for internet access and towels for the pool is a bit rich, even McDonald's offer free Wi-Fi. Front desk could could be more friendly, the clerk couldn't tell me where Market Place was (I discovered it on my iPhone, 400m away! ) Oh and the noise, on both nights was woken in the early hours with partying, one night I could forgive, two nights, too far. Come on, if you are serious about hospitality recon you should be more hospitable, or have I spent too much time in the US where customer service is a real profession.
