Aloha Apartments Apartment

DO NOT VISIT THIS HOTEL! Me and my parents booked this hotel during the peak time of the year, we paid $420 per night and the room they provide was shocking. This hotel does not even deserve one start. The first day when we arrived at the hotel, the reception staff offer us a proposal, he said if we cancel the booking of the room from Booking. Com we will have free parking. We didn't think much at that time, because free parking why not. But when I enter the room I was shocked, the room is disgusting, almost everything in that room was rusted, I cant never forget even the lamp next to the bed is full of rust. The room smelled like musty, we were very unsatisfied and we wanted a refund, the hotel refused. They arranged another room in the building next to it, and it even worse. The new room was full of the cockroach, the first day of our stay we killed at least 10 of cockroaches. And the first day slept so bad. And something even disgusting me is, when you put your room on Booking. Com, the platform take 15% commission from the hotel, why we didn't get discounts. Actually, the hotel also overcharged us which we discovered later, 1. They charged 2% payment fee and no refund of 15% commission 2. They still charge the parking fee, which they refunded afterwards, but if we didn’t check the bill carefully we would know, they also didn't wanna give us the invoice at the beginning. 3. They guaranteed free Wi-Fi and cleaning the room.

Terrible service, Aloha Apartments cancelled our apartment 3 hours prior to check in stating that we had cancelled. When searching for an apartment that won't cancel last minute, we found Aloha had put the room back up (For triple the price), as they realised they could charge more due to the New Years weekend.

Booked through booking. Com got a call from them canceling our booking 3 hours before we where meant to get there. Told us it was a mistake though booking. Com and there was no available rooms, only for when we go on booking. Com to find
Another Accommodation just to see that the room was put back up for triple the amount of money that we had Originally book the room for. $300 for a bond is a complete joke as well. Got bad vibes and bad service from this place. Please do not book this hotel for the price of the bond you might as well stay somewhere else. We decided to go to the Hilton instead which only charges $150 bond for 2 people. By the sounds of all the other reviews we definitely skipped a Bullet.

Lost a weeks booking there just gone $800 down the drain. The ladie behind the counter was rude and arrogant! And on booking. Com it sed free parking! only on arrivals she tried to charge me $25 a day. There where 4 other costumers complaining about the the place. Do ya self a favour and book else where. Cause this was the worst place I ever stepped foot in … didn’t even stay for 5 min …

Most awful apartment I have ever stayed at. Apartment was filthy, outdated and just disgustingly dirty. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT stay here. We complained everyday for 5 days of our stay to get nothing rectified.
Nails sticking up from carpet, mould on curtains, constant damp smell, black marks and blood on wall, the list goes on.
After emailing to request a refund, I only get offered a 10% discount. I live in NZ and will never go back to GC and if I did I would NEVER stay here.
Really disappointed and overall just simply ruined our stay in GC, please don’t make the mistake we did.

Worst hotel ever! After checking in, we were looking for the pool, only to be told the pool is unavailable for maintainence, even though their website says 'the whole family will love sending long relaxing afternoons kicking back by our inviting outdoor pools' and the pool photo being used on their Facebook page and website, this is the reason we choose to stay here for our family holiday, I have 3 children who keen to spend as much time in the pool as they can. Staff are very rude and unhelpful. Room very dirty. Overall an awful experience, we checked out the next morning, and are still waiting for our money back. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT STAY HERE!

Love the large bed, and the view from all rooms is magnificent. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the Wifi, couldn’t connect, but not the end of the world!

Excellent location only a 60 second walk from the beach. Clean simple rooms.

Went to check out a studio house. Exceeded all expectations. Absolutely love it and will so be applying to move there.

Rooms are in need of a refurb although just been painted. Room rate dose not reflect the room standard. Building old and dated. $206 per night plus parking. Mmmm really. Staff ok polite and freindly.

Although Aloha apartments are a bit older one can't just beat the location. Me and my friends had a great time staying there!

Room was great if you like dishes with food on them in the cupboard, air conditioners that won't turn on because the remotes don't have batteries and then when you go get batteries they are full of mould. One of the windows had a random pane of glass screwed over the top in a different direction to the rest… a bit scary considering the 9 story drop. There are electrical standards that have been broken in the bathroom and split system installations. If you call them to let them know there is an issue or to ask for a better room they hang up on you. This was my absolute worst experience with accommodation.

The location is perfect, the 1 bedroom oceanview apartments has everything we needed for our stay. The new management was really helpfull with lots of local knowledge. We already booked our next holiday there as they said the prices will go up.

It's ok… Location fantastic, the ONLY real thing going for this place… BUT the accommodation is tired and run down and is some serious need of some MAJOR renovations. We rented the a place for 6 people and the apartment had 1 two seat lounge for ALL of us and 1 chair for the outdoor/patio setting! The MAIN bedroom bed was a pull-out trundle bed! I understand that sort of thing for additional bedrooms etc but the MAIN bedroom! The place was advertised with air conditioning but were told on arrival that if we tried to turn it on, it would cut power to the whole building!

Looks nice from the outside, got to our room and it was a big shock, old and run down plus it had a musky wet mold smell. After speaking to management they agreed to move us rooms, the second room was much better. Recently updated and had no smell at all. We paid for a beach view room, not really a view as the room was more facing the city than the beach. Only reason we have it 3 stars is due to the staff that work there.

Was affordable, as I was only looking to stay the night to attend a concert. Overall a adequate place to sleep for a couple nights.

Great place to visit, stay was my first experience on the Gold Coast and keep going back close to beach awesome location and price.

One Apartment was really nice one was average but not bad overall.

Called several weeks ago to book a room. Receptionist told us there was a room available and took all our details. Called up today to pay for booking only to find out our room had been cancelled with no notification. Apparently we were supposed to confirm our booking over email. However the receptionist we spoke to didn't mention a confirmation email, only that we had to pay 3 days in advance. Very disappointed with reception and will avoid this hotel in the future.

Staff were very nice and super helpfull!
I had a dodgy neighbor staying next to us who would scream she was being hurt staff delt with it extreamly fast and efficiency (she only screamed out once in the 14 nights we stayed) would definitely stay again.

The rooms are pretty nice… The view is great, Great beds and good quality.

Good location but not a fantastic set of apartments. Ours had what you needed, but was a bit run down (peeling chairs, rusted washing machine etc)

Honestly would stay here again. In a good location, the rooms are a decent size and we had a nice view but it was overall a pretty trash set of apartments. Not only was the reception only open an hour a day. There was a call-out fee if you needed assistance. The toilet in one of our bathrooms was leaking. One of the single beds was damaged and tilted to one side. The sliding door to the main bedroom was damaged and didn't move back once we eventually got it closed. The tiled in the shower were mouldy and had soap scum. The elevators barely worked and sometimes left us waiting for 10-20 minutes in the hall. We were expected to completely clean our apartment or face cleaning charges, not at all what you would expect from a pricey hotel. Overall, not worth the money at all.

Good location. Average room. Construction works straight across road so don't expect to sleep in after 0630. Safe secure parking. Erika is nice to deal with.

Beautiful location, 50m from the surfer's paradise beach. Rooms are spacious and have a balcony. Sauna, pool, table tennis and other services are included.

Thank you so much for an outstanding stay. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and was pleasantly surprised that we had been gifted with a room upgrade. We were given a tour of the hotel, which was very helpful. We made our way to our room n was pleased at the size of the room n our view of the beach was fabulous. I was very happy that the room was equipt with with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Once again thank you so much, I will definitely be recommending your apartments to family n friends, and we will definitely be back for another stay but we will stay on a higher floor level.
