Just arrived apartment so clean and so modern arrived after hours so helpful with access and communication with access codes outstanding would highly recommend this resort.

I always stay here… convenient to every thing. Place is alwayz clean. Staff are awesome… totally recommended 100%

Absolutely love this place, friendly staff love our room right on the lake having a separate bedroom is a lot better.

Just had another great stay. Glenn and I love just love coming here and relaxing have stayed here so many times we would not go anywhere else. Why would we when you have all this to look at.

I got a very cheap deal through Agoda. $65 a night for a studio apartment. I was not expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised! … extremely tidy renovated room… super comfy king size bed with a separate single. Nice landscaping and a brilliant resort pool. I have spent more on a tent site in a caravan park before. The whole facility is old, but you can see it is going through a facelift. Everything you could want is here, especially if you are budget conscious. There is no traffic noise at all. I would definitely reccomend this place if you want a Gold Coast experience away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers. We have 3 nights left on this stay.

Wonderful everything, especially Donna. Sorry I didnt get to ssy goodbye and thank you for all your help when I was there. View and sunsets were gorgeous, residents were friendly, and the black swans were a real treat. I hope to see you again in 2021.

Friendly staff, spacious units, close to shops. The price is perfect for both my mum & I. Beds are comfy, great view. Yes we coming back :)

Very convenient location — only resort I have stayed at that has a shopping centre on its door step. Beautiful canal aspect.

Loved the quiet setting, close proximity to Shopping Centre, access to pool, spa, the lagoon, and friendly staff and clean facilities. Brochures outlining local walks & places of interest in the area would be helpful.

Very well kept, friendly place to stay. I like the pool and the hot spa. The winter weather is a welcome escape from Sydney.

I am a unit owner here, I have been living here for the past 18 months, With my granddaughter we have enjoyed everyday living here. Everyone here is nice and friendly and it’s like one huge family. The staff are wonderful, very helpful always anytime of the day or night. A big Thankyou to the groundsman Jake and Paul for keeping the Bay Of Palms Resort always up to standard and nice and clean. I only wish that we had bought a unit here years ago. From Lily+Hope.

Huge shopping centre next door.

Fully self contained room with fridge microwave, bowl and plates ect. Great view over the water, was well as a pool, spa and BBQ area. It is also only 500m walk to the shopping center, with Aldi Coles and Woolworths plus a number of speciality shops.

A bit dated in style, but it's got everything and is usually pretty quiet. Very clean and spacious rooms.

Fantastic place to stay clean modern and friendly staff. Close to Surfers but not too close. Shops next door lake views. Reccommend this resort highly.

Huge clean rooms, reasonable prices, close to shops. Try one of the rooms with garden views, there are a couple of beatiful and somewhat friendly black Swans. Beatiful lake just at the back of the property. Washing machines and dryers operate with 3 one dollar coins. Reception opens at 9:00 am so keep it in mind. 24 hours reception service phone available for emergencies at the counter.

Great priced accommodation & clean. Good location & friendly staff. My 2nd stint that I've stayed here & will gladly stay here again. I booked direct on my 2nd stay & saved even more.

I love this little piece of heaven… The lake is just beautiful the gorgeous black swans who visit often are just lovely. They even knock on your door to let you know they want company, oh and bread!
The pool are is so peaceful and clean. The whole place is just amazing and awesome value. I will certainly be booking here next time I bring my grandkids to the Gold Coast.

Excellent location right on the water, walking distance to shopping centre and freeway close by, walls are a bit thin though could hear every word said in the rooms next to me.

Not too bad for a motel! A bit run-down but overall it is clean and functional and has what you need for a nice stay.

A nice clean accommodation, room was very spacious, bed was comfortable. Pool area was clean and tidy. Free use of the BBQ which was nice. Didn't like the fact that we had to clean our cutlery in the bathroom sink of our studio apartment, also didn't like the pay as you go Wi-Fi — I've been to hundreds of accommodations on this trip and never had to pay per 20 minutes of internet.

This is a very convenient base for playing on the Gold Coast. Clean, spacious, convenient, and quiet with a kitchen and parking. Great for medium to long term stays.

Gold Coast Bay of Palms/ Lovely place, we stayed twice overlooking lake, fantastic views. Very relaxing. Well worth visiting again, great pool.

Had a wonderful stay in this resort beautifully maintained by Jake and the staff so friendly. Utilised the resort kayaks for a morning paddle and loved the pool and spa facilities. Highly recommend for your next visit!

Really great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Very clean. A little outdated but other then that no complaints. Quite enjoyable stay.

My husband n son recently stayed a few days for a rest and recuperation after a stay in hospital. They both said staff were welcoming, friendly & very helpful, the resort is very clean & is more top end of a budget style type of accommodation :) In room noticed kettle did not work & staff promptly replaced it with a brand new one. Daily maintenance of pool and pool spa was excellent from what was observed. Husband and son enjoyed the heated spa daily! Lol The Resort has an …awesome central location to food outlets, banks, shopping centre, RSL services club, beaches and tourist type adventures and sightseeing etc

Stayed for 2 nights, great place to stay if youre on a budget, wether it be couples or families… Very conveniently located near a shopping centre and has a lagoon to sit by and relax. It has everything you need and there is plenty to keep the kids entertained. The staff are lovely and very helpful too, I would stay again. Down side: The cleanliness needs to improve though, and the room is quite dated.

Disappointing place. Looked way better in the pictures that were probably taken 20 years ago. Room was in bad condition. Broken tiles, dirty carpet, poor condition fittings. Faulty/cumbersome door lock system. Floors sticky. Kettle smelled really bad. To top it off no housekeeping and you have to take your own rubbish out. Oh and you have to pay extra for Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The location is good and walking distance to the shops. The price seemed good compared to the competition but next time I rather pay more or stay in a backpacker than this place. Not worth the money.

Very average — the best thing about this place was the location. I stayed here for two nights with my partner, and we tried to spend as much time as possible away from the place. It was dirty, and poorly maintained. The light was bust in the kitchen, and the sliding doors barely locked — I felt nervous leaving our stuff for the day. I get it, it's budget. But there's no excuse for it being ramshackle. You can have bare bones accommodation, and still have it clean and tidy with functioning amenities. The floors were sticky and my socks were dirty from walking around. I normally take my shoes off inside, but in this case I kept them on as I got sick of changing my socks. Maybe some rooms are nice, but ours was definitely a dud.

Quiet location only a 15 minute drive to central surfers paradise, the pines shopping centre is only 300m from the entrance of Bay of palms.

Bay of Palms has been really great for my partner and I to chill for a few days and do some fishing. Right on the lake is very beautiful. The rooms are modern and tidy. It was very great to be right next to the laundry, very handy. Only downfall was the noise in the room next door, the walls were quite thin. Other than that, great. :)

All round good and clean. Very conveniently situated. Really value for money.

Beautiful location backing on to lake all the amenities you need great size appartment abd 5 minute walk to shopping centre.

Our family had a great time staying here. Amenities were great, close to shops, lake for fishing (we even caught one), great pool and hot tub, rooms clean and comfortable. Thank you so much for a great experience.

When checked in staff were friendly, the pool and spa were clean well maintained and beautifully presented. The entrance and grounds were well presented and inviting. We thought we found a gem at affordable prices. Then we opened the door to our unit. That is where the compliments finish. The unit was in poor condition very dated and in need of major renovation or at least a good cleanThe walls were dirty the main bedroom wardrobe was so disgusting where we could not even put our cloths in there. It looked as if it was not cleaned for years. The kitchen had all the essentials but the stove: oven did not work and staff did nothing about it. Only the main bed had appropriate bedding on it the others beds had pillows and sheets but no blanket or quilts (this is not acceptable in winter). The cleanest or nicest part of the unit was the sheets and bed all up would not stay at this place if it were free. I have seen back packer accommodation cleaner and in better condition than this place. We were afraid to use the bathroom as it was not clean at all. Would not recommend this place.

What a truly amazing place! We have loved every minute here. The apartments are tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The lake is beautiful. All of the amenities are in good working order. The gardens and pool area is spectacular.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. RSL bus collects guests from the front door for a great night out. Well worth a stay here. Highly recommend.

The deluxe studio was a lot better than expected. Especially for the price. Friendly staff and views of the lake, what more couls you want.

It's located in a really good spot, right next top the pines shopping centre. The room was a granny flat but I felt very cozy.

Worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Firstly they checked us into the dirty room. What a nice thing to do after a long trip — sorting out this mess. Then they said they gave us a stuff room by a mistake and move us into a ''better'' room. The couch was all pilled off — seriously, they could find better one at the garbage bins. The kitchen was full of ants. When we came back to the room — the connecting door with the next door was open! With some people leaving inside. How could it happen? Nobody knows. Very insecure. The reception is always closed and only opened for 2 hours a day. And that's during public holidays, when the hotel is busy and fool, they give days off to the reception and think they do not need it. The customers service on the phone says, sorry I can answer your question only when the office will be open'' — the question is — why do we need that after hours service then? Just better give a day of to it and hire a receptionist. The hotel is not too small to have one. Things in the room are dirty and untidy. Room is inconvenient — it is not possible to watch TV or charge anything. It looks like the place got the potential, but is really abandoned and everything is a problem, that the guests have to spend their time to sort it out. There is always an excuse for everything. Probably will be an excuse for my reviews too. Just do not stay there to have disappointed and get worst holidays and then to have an excuse from the staff (if you are lucky).

We have been staying here for two weeks now and are very happy with the room we have been allocated, as it overlooks a most beatiful palm fringed lake which is illuminated by night. Our apartment is lght and airy and is well maintained by friendly staff. People working on the enquiries desk have also been very helpful n provding information about local activities and excursions. When next we come to Australia to visit our daughter and family ee shall definitely make a booking at the Bay of Palms.

Awesome place to stay. The atmosphere is very layed back and the staff are very lovely. We stayed for a week and we are gonna go back again their prices were very good and shopping is right next door.

We had a studio room on the ground floor as requested. The pool was right in front of us with a spa as well… it was great! We went to the sports club for dinner, the Pines shopping center is in walking distance. We got 2 free bottles of water. Met some great people too.

Nice sized room, bathroom was okay, until I found 2 cockroaches, some of the utensils were dirty and broken, needs more toilet paper given than just 2 rolls, there is no mat for the shower, TV does not work, microwave is dirty, really needs improving with everything, it is all dated.

Location is great with access to local shops. Basic comfortable accommodation which can be self contained. It is budget. SOME COMPLIMENTARY toiletries would be appreciated. No soap dish or exhaust fan in shower. Grounds are excellent. Friendly helpful staff. No free Wi-Fi.

The location is good however overall not good value for money.

WE REALLY ENJOYED STAYING AT “Bay of Palms” first day in the resort, we were quite lost and had to go to Bond University, at that time Anne helped us to find the bus route so we could go to Bond without lost. Thanks for that. The room was clean, comfy and the view from the balcony was really great. We loved it! Also the pool and spa in the resort was nice and clean. One thing I thought the reception time in the morning was a bit late that my sister and I could not see Ann and talk more. (well we had to go out before 10 every time) Anyway, everything was great good enough to say no more. Thanks again Hansol Park.

I stumbled upon this place whilst on holidays from North Queensland whilst shopping at the shopping center RIGHT NEXT DOOR! I was with my family which included 2 teenagers who had a ball, Heaps for them to do, games room Great pool, Kayaks and fishing. The Staff were great, friendly and knowledgable and told us great places to go for dinner etc. Nice, clean room overlooking the pool, comfy and clean. Would definatley stay here again and have already reccommended it to my friends and family.

Great Location and Great Service. Extremely good value for money. Internet access on site is a bonus. Pool, shops, everything you need is here or close by. No traffic noise. We will be back.
