Very nice stay. The room was well appointed and the grounds were well kept. Breakfast was quite nice. Will be back.

The restaurant itself is showing signs of age but the service and the quality and presentation more than made up for that. We had a really good meal and the wait staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Thank you Mercure for such a nice experience! By the way the pork belly was superb as were the desserts.

We spent 2 nights and days here. It was busy, but nicely secluded and quiet at a comfortable price. The rooms were clean, fresh and spacious with a very comfortable king bed. The dining was top shelf and not too expensive. We'll certainly stay again!

Great service. Been there a few times and enjoy the outdoor pool. Tepanyaki restaurant is great too. Highly recommend the buffet — super filling.

Perfect, quiet location with top quality amenities and delicious breakfast. Staff are all friendly and professional. Courtesy bus to sporting event makes the weekend hassle free. Will stay again and again. Recommend highly.

For a couple of Melbourne people this was an amazing get away for us. Fantastic service and great accommodation. Unfortunately the main pool and spa were out of action but these things happen. When we come back to the Gold Coast we will be staying here again! Hopefully soon this will be classed as a 5 star place! Thank you Mercure!

Room equipment is not very new, space is spacious, do not provide toothpaste shaving knife, hair dryer wind strong, long hair enough, housekeeping maintenance is very clean, bed and pillow very good sleep.

I enjoyed my stay in this really nice resort in Gold Coast. The staff is very friendly. The room was clean, big enough with a nice balcony and a view to the park and the little lakes. It was quiet, free parking in the underground garage and free Wi-Fi. You need around ten minutes to Miami Beach. If you are looking for a really good and fair priced hotel, you should book this one.

Booked a night here to help celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. I put a simple message on the check-in notes asking if a birthday message could be left out for her on arrival. Expecting a small card or something written on a sheet of paper, I was totally overwhelmed with the effort the staff went to. Upon arrival, a full wall banner was created, letter by letter, strung together and hanging with a card adjacent to this. Staff had also created towel elephants with another message welcoming us and wishing my partner a happy birthday. This really was above and beyond and made a great stay even better. Staff here are incredibly accommodating and it shows with the effort they went to for our stay. Staying in a King Spa room, the bed was quite comfortable with decent pillows (good height and softness). Everything was clean and the air conditioning kept the room at a perfect temperature. Highly recommend staying here.

The resort was lovely with great views. The staff were amazing. The buffet spread was good and comparable to other four stars we have stayed at. Pool and spa were great The only thing that would have made it even better would be elevators to the first floor. With a little toddler it's a bit of a hassle.

Staying at Mercure was a pleasure, we were a last minute booking and they managed to help is out. Even got a beautiful room with a view and spa! Just what we needed after driving 10hrs. Friendly staff and informative. Best part was the super soft sheets! Very clean and inexpensive considering it is holiday season.

Very comfortable and clean rooms, breakfasts are superb with lots of fresh pastries and fruit including chocolate coated and filled donuts. All the hot options you can think of and a self serve coffee machine with a tasty brew of coffee. Room overlooking golf course has been kept up to date, furnishings wise, I can see a bit of tiredness setting in to bathrooms (grouting around bath), however tiles and granite features are in good shape, so no real need to rip them out. My only advice — perhaps make shower screen glass another 10cm wider, to prevent water spraying onto floors. Great spot, and we'll return for sure.

I felt compelled to write this review because generally the accomodation was very disappointing for what we paid at $350 plus for the night. CONS — The Hotel is very tired and needs urgent maintenance and attention — room clean but in need of refurbishment, the bathroom very old, shower tiles strained and unattractive. Everything is old and tired, lots of stairs and no lifts. Undercover parking very low where car scrapes on entry and exit, the parking area is infested with starlings all over the roof of the cars. Expensive rates and breakfast not included. PROS The pool is great for kids and the staff are very good. The gym is well equipped.

Lovely resort style hotel adjacent to a golf course, set in lovely tropical landscaped gardens. We paid extra to have the buffet breakfast every morning, which is well worth it with a great selection of hot & cold items. Room was clean and comfortable, the only slight negative was the bathroom which had a shower over a bath with a small glass panel retrofitted that didn't stop the water getting onto the floor. Beds were comfortable, and the hotel and area very quiet. You will need a vehicle to get around as it is away from shops and attractions.

Pros: Nice and peaceful location. Almost looks like a private place solely for Mercure. A short drive away from the highway. Good service, Friendly staff. Check-in & Check-out were super quick. Rooms were ready ahead of schedule. Shout out for Cindy from housekeeping for keeping our rooms spick and span. Cons: For the rates you charge, a complimentary bottle of water everyday would be nice, You get only 1 bottle of water per person, regardless of the days stayed. Parking entrance has a dip, which if not entered slowly will scrape the nose of your car. Not advised for cars with skirts.

From the moment I checked in the service was exceptional. This includes: check in restaurant bar All staff that I interacted with were pleasant, professional and helpful. There was a young man in the restaurant (I think his name was Liam), and he is a credit to the business. His service was outstanding, lovely to have a conversation with and "read" out table extremely well. All staff were knowledgeable about products (wine, food) and I would highly recommend your business.

Great place to relax and enjoy the quite atmosphere of the surrounding golf course. Plenty of underground parking available and easy access to all facilities. Buffett breakfast was great also with very friendly staff all round. Location is a 10-15 minute drive into the city, so would recommend staying if you have a car, but would be more difficult accessing via public transport.

The rooms were adequate for our purposes. We took advantage of the $1 for breakfast which was a bit average to be honest. We stayed in your Sydney (downtown) hotel and the breakfast there was amazing. The breakfast didn't come close to that. Another disappointing aspect was we tried to get some food at the bar. We arrived at 10.03pm (3 minutes after the official closing time of the kitchen) and we were only able to order pizza. Everything else was off the menu. The hotel does provide very good value for money although some areas are a little dated but we didn't care too much about that and is a quite a way from Broadbeach and Surfers. The setting is however very nice.

Beautiful resort. I booked a Spa room, with the first one the room phone and bathroom exhaust wasnt working so next day we were moved to a different room. Breakfast was awesome! Staff is very helpful. I would definitely recommend it and probably will visit their again on my next visit.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Unfortunately my parents ' room was not arranged beside, their room to the pool, ours is not, a little in the ointment. The swimming pool is not clean enough to see many insects in the pool. The restaurant environment feels relaxed and comfortable, offering enough food to choose from and delicious. Waiter should serve very friendly and thoughtful, he according to my request, for my father sent surprise arrangements, a beautiful birthday dessert, together with the other 2 waitresses should sing for him birthday song, we are very happy and very satisfied, so we also give extra tip to the restaurant. We are very satisfied that we have to arrange for the floor and the rooms near the lobby without any special request. The resort is no elevator, if you live on the first floor, the second floor, access to the staircase, with luggage a bit inconvenient. Buffet breakfast Generally, the choice is not too much, the taste is also general. We stayed 2 nights, and when we went out the next day, we saw the staff of the room leaving handwritten notes and feeling very cordial. The resort is quite large and we can take a walk to see the stars after dinner and feel relaxed and comfortable.

We enjoyed the resort style pool, space and relaxing atmosphere. Food was nice too. The Spa area looked a bit rough so I did not end up getting any spa treatments as planned. Me and my husband wanted to get a couples massage or treatment. It looked some and not lux at all.

On arrival male receptionist was great. (he too unfortunately disappoints later on). From there on in very disappointing. At night the two rooms beside us had bridesmaids for a wedding and they were up till 2am laughing, banging doors and running between rooms. Then we had x2 free drinks and woman on bar ignored us and spoke gruffly to young male staff member then she finally served us with attitude. On looking at my bank account instead of $100 security being held Mercure has debited me over $220 which apparently on calling is an accommodation charge! We had paid before arriving at hotel!

How lovely was the feel to this place. Food was absolutely amazing. Small issue with cleaning in some areas. And the entrance to park your car was very tight and bottoms out no matter what. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way. But overall experience was great.

Walked into my room and took a deep breath. It was lovely, large and had views of palm trees. Was surprised by the large bathroom with amazing water pressure. Just lovely. Late checkout available until 4pm was great and it has even made me decide to rebook for another vacation with my family as it allows my last day of vacation before heading to the airport to be relaxed.

I surprised my husband with a night away for our 11th wedding anniversary. We arrived late and ordered room service. The food was amazing the room was immaculate. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again soon.

Check in was efficient and all staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was delicious. Personal note from the room staff was unexpected but greatly appreciated, a very good customer experience. Very relaxing looking out over the golf course, watching the wildlife and the sunset. Close to Broadbeach and shopping.

We stayed 3 nights mid August in a twin queen bedroom with a spa The room was great, spacious and clean. Special mention to the cleaner who folded animal towels for the kids and left little personalised notes. They were very excited to see them in the bed. The heated pool was a treat for kids. The main pool spa was also a hit.

We stayed due to the State Gymnastics Championships. One of your cleaners Lea left the most beautiful good luck message to the girls. She even made them puppies out of towels. It was absolutely lovely to come back to that. We were all extremely impressed. Thankyou.

Staff were very accommodating when we wanted to change rooms so we had stroller access. Pools were nice. Property is well maintained but overall is dated. Seems to accommodate lots of young sports groups (presumably as it's out of the way so no where to get up to mischief). The breakfast buffet was good as well. Cleaner was also lovely and left towel animals in our room after meeting our kids. That was a lovely touch.

Our room was immaculate and kept that way for the duration of our stay. Location was perfect for our needs, both for business and leisure: — free parking at the railway station and an express train service into the centre of Brisbane — a short drive to Pacific Fair with 5 hours free parking to shop and dine one of the best Malls in the world. — a short drive to Broadbeach and access to the iconic Gold Coast beaches. Underground parking at the hotel kept the car cool and accessible. Hotel staff were friendly, efficient, knowledgable and helpful — nothing was too much trouble. Altogether a memorable stay.

The staff, from the reception desk to the bar and dining areas, were welcoming and courteous. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a problem with our air conditioner — we notified reception, went out for a couple of hours and on our return the air conditioner had been fixed and was working well. The car park had more room than some others where we have stayed. Overall, an enjoyable overnight stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! Once we checked in we didn't want to leave. The movie deal was a fantastic option. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant. My partner is a picky eater but he enjoyed the morten bay bug risotto that much he is still talking about wanting to have it again. I had the twice cooked pork belly and was not disappointed. The kids meal was a little small for a 10 year old but we had fun getting room service later to eat and watch movies in the comfy beds. Thank you for a lovely night.

Seminar facilities were great. Food during the seminar was very moreish. Staff service made me want to come back and visit next time I'm at the Gold Coast.

Resort is in a perfect location close to top golf course and sporting facilities. Staff were friendly, and food typical of a large hotel. Hotel is in need of a revamp to keep it looking modern and clean.

Worst place I've ever stayed. No washing machine to wash clothes, house keeping takes room keys from the room, that is if the key hasn't already decoded itself. Pools are unheated and feels utterly ICE cold. No spa at pool which is a first for any resort I've stayed at. Buffet breakfast was average at absolute best. Only difference between this place and a budget motel room is a slightly larger bed and a balcony. (The balcony is covered in spider webs and bugs, though). Newly wed couple and wife has just instructed me to find us a new place to stay and we've only been here one night. The pool is colder than tap water.

We like free delicious breakfast but free Wi-Fi in only 30 min one day.

We stayed at Mercure Gold Coast Resort for for 7 nights over the past Christmas break, the experience was awesome! I read lot of reviews before booking this accommodation and haven't been let down! Their great service starts from the concierge to reception and so on. The guys at concierge are very very helpful and friendly!, everyone is very helpful and willing to go out of their way to ensure we have a great time. I would definitely stay there again. Run of houses. Some rooms may require access via stairs or walk. Ask for ground level room if you don't like the stairs or top floor of you want a view.

Friend had gastro and they accommodated to her very well. Ok location, abit out of town so hire a car unless your happy to pay for a taxi for about $22 into Broadbeach. Food was good, buffet breakfast was fresh. The children's menu by far is the best value. If your not a big eater order from kids menu, the steak is Devine.

Well located, just outside of surfers Paradise with easy public transport access, rooms were kept neat and maintained at an excellent standard, service from the staff was excellent and were very helpful and were well trained in providing premium service.
