My now Wife & I got married here at Cedar Creek Lodges on Sunday 9th October 2022. The location is amazing with stunning views. The staff at Cedar Creek Lodges are very friendly & helpful. The Weddings Team especially Ciara & Meagan went above & beyond to exceed our expectations & helped organise the most perfect Wedding that we will always remember. Terrible experience. Our coordinator Ciara was uneducated and unprofessional in her role resulting in multiple mishaps with our experience at Cedar Creek earlier this year. Would not recommend.

Exceptional accommodation, beautiful Yugumbeh Country. Clean, REALLY comfy, sensory pleasing (caramel smells, tranquil surrounds, chilly but warm, pretty rainforest), delicious food, lots of fun!

We stayed in the Mill Lodge. So lovely and comfortable, we had a fire on and had such a lovely time. Had a yummy buffet breakfast and felt very welcomed. Lovely staff, lovely everything. We’ll be back soon!

Amazing views from windows. Maybe bit dangerous with little ones running around we had our 2 year old with us and he was ok but just have to be careful with the creek. But otherwise restaurant bar wedding facilities are amazing so beautiful would recommend to anyone five stars.

Worst experience, drove all the way there to see the glow worms after speaking to someone on the phone and got all the way there to find out we all needed to provide our vaccination passport. Should have been something that was said on the phone when enquiring about the experience.

Great food and service. Fantastic for families with kids of all ages. Dog friendly too. Variety of accomodation options, cottages, lodges, tents and caravans, fires permitted on the camp ground too.

Just got home from an awesome 2 night stay at the lodges. Accommodation was great, the choc covered strawberries were a nice surprise! All staff lovely, especially Georgia who served us for breakfast and at the kiosk throughout the days. Great place to getaway without having to go far, will definitely be back.

Just THE best spot to come rest and relax. The accommodation is beautiful modern clean and the spa bath has to be seen and used to be believed. Take my advice and book a massage with Anna she is amazing. The best bit is the staff. They are happy and cheerful, ready to help and on point suggestions with the food! Well done guys and well done owners for cultivating a great culture … we will be back.

A beautiful location nestled amongst the tall trees rainforest of Mt Tamborine and the cool sweet waters of Cedar Creek. I love the fire place and furniture in the miners room. A photographers dream. Such wonderfully generous and friendly staff too. I can't wait to return soon. Great coffee!

Went to wedding and stayed overnight, beautiful tranquil venue for wedding, great food and accommodation very comfortable.

Have not stayed her but we had a wonderful wedding banquet in their function room recently. The food was fantastic.

Mother’s Day brunch and crazy golf! Food, staff and location was amazing. We’ll definitely be back again — next time, we’ll be staying too! The lodges look gorgeous. Thank you cedar creek lodges for making our stay amazing!

Had our wedding at the island glade and it was great. Staff on the night were super helpful and everything went just right.

Arrived for a family wedding. We booked a private bunk house but there were issues so we ended up in the public bunk houses… would not recommend for a family, with drunken parties keeping us up all night. However the next morning the staff went above the call of duty and updated us to a new room with no extra cost! Amazing customer service.

I expected a lot more with the price paid for this hotel. The rooms have been decorated nicely, but it is just a cover for an old room. Part of the walls were coming apart in the bathroom and the carpet is a bit a dirty. The walls are also paper thin, to the point that you can hear your neighbours full conversations. However, the staff, activities and buffet breakfast were all lovely.

I went to the tree top challenge. It was in fact challenging & fun for myself & the girls I was with. Got some great photos too. Staff were great.

Had a wedding here, it was very well done, food was good and drinks were cheap. The atmosphere was tranquil and the surroundings beautiful.

We spent one night here recently while I was working on a travel article for a magazine. After spending the day having fun at Thunderbird Park, it was fantastic to be able to walk to our lodge and settle in for the night. It was very cosy, comfortable and spotless, and we loved that the fire was laid ready for us. The kids thought it was the best evening sitting in front of the fire while playing the board games that were in the lodge. It really felt like we were getting away from it all. Breakfast was a delicious buffet which included "amazing pancakes" according to my kids. All of the staff we met were really welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Stayed for a friend's wedding, was beautiful venue for it. Accommodation is a bit dated, but suitably fine after a boozy night!

After taking a tour of the amazing wedding ampitheatre and surrounding areas with the event coordinator, I checked in for my stay at Creek Lodge Two. As I walked through the front door a beautiful aroma of lime and citrus greeted me. I was in awe at how beautiful this little cabin was. It has two bedrooms, each with a king bed, a cute little kitchenette, log furnace in the lounge, spa bath and a balcony, all with a stunning view of the creek and surrounding rainforest. I spent the evening mostly on the balcony with a glass of wine, enjoying the sounds of the flowing creek, various birds and creatures that inhabit the forest. It was pure bliss. Later on I prepared a meal and sat down to watch a few movies on the tv. It was a little chilly, so I made use of the throw that was draped over the sofa. When it was time for bed, I opened up all the louvers in the bedroom and drifted off with the cool breeze. The next morning, I walked up to the restaurant where I enjoyed a buffet breakfast and a delicious coffee (or two) included in the overnight stay. I could not fault anything. This place is truly magical and I highly recommend Cedar Creek Lodges to anyone wanting to have their wedding or a quiet night in the rainforest of Mt Tamborine. Thank you so much to the friendly and accommodating staff.

Cottages where great and so was the food! Excellent for corporate retreat.

I was really set on this place for our wedding this year. But after a visit there, we were highly dissapointed! For $13, 000 per wedding, you would think a wedding venue would be clean and tidy at all times. There were cobwebs and dirt over everything. Rubbish hidden behind a wall. Muddy moldy water in the little creek in the ceremony area. Definitely not worth that much money.

Lovely relaxing spot to stay — camping and lodges are great. Hammocks on the river are a special bonus.

We just had our wedding at Cedar Creek Lodge on the weekend. It was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond for us. No request was too much for them. Special shout out to Monica and Mitch for making our stay so great. The food was 5 Star both in the restaurant and our buffet. Endless adventure activities available. My mother found a beautiful crystal thunder egg in the mine. I would recommend this place to anyone for a weekend away or a Rainforest/rustic/elegant wedding venue.

This is a wonderful place for families and or couples. There are lots of things to do like put put golf, swimming on the waterfalls, horse and pony rides, tree top challenge. The food and service were awesome and a whole mountain of fun. We will return.

Horrendous experience! On the weekend I attended a wedding unfortunate enough to hold the reception at cedar creek falls. The actual wedding was a lovely event however the reception to follow a different outcome. Firstly the food was an absolute disgrace served by one of the rudest waitresses I am sure ever existed. Both my husband and myself have special dietary requirements and that was well organised in advance and rechecked just prior. All in vain nothing was organised and both of us went hungry in fact the rude waitress came back with a plate with a piece of potato and 2 stale pieces of lettuce inedible. All were served very stale bread rolls and the mains fatty steak and uncooked chicken. The venue as it rained leaked unsafe electrical cords were in water we all got wet everyone complained the food disgusting. Wow! There are no words for how bad it was. The accomodation uninhabitable some had no power all night as the lights outside were wet and tripped the power but the filth and the old dirty paint and very badly maintained cabins disgusting! All in all don't make the mistake of having a wedding reception here or worse having to endure staying in the old ill maintained Bomby dirty accomodation. Oh yuk!

Stayed in creek lodge for two nights. The bed was very comfortable, facilities were all nice and the included meals were bistro style buffet. The minor issues we had with the facilities were handled promptly by staff and positively reduced. I must say that the website makes the accommodation it to be something it is not. This accommodation is perfect for a family get away and not ideal for a romantic time away with your partner.

Beautiful location. Underwhelming accommodation. Poor service at breakfast as well as from pathetic snack bar. Pizzas were good, when they finally arrived.

Stay was lovely — rooms were nice except the mosquito screens need repair. It was beautiful to fall asleep to the sound of the stream. We did go to the restaurant for dinner — the salt and pepper squid was amazing however there was not a lot of choice and the choices were not as nice a quality as what I thought they were going to be. There is more choice on the wedding plated menu. Service was lovely but the young man was a bit stretched between tables. Breakfast was beautiful.

I stayed at mill lodge. Which is a large but dated building. It was perfect for an overnight stay provided you are looking for a standard house with facilities note. No air-conditioning.

Wow we loved our week up on the mountain still close enough to go to wet n wild & movie world for day trips then came back here for a relaxing drink overlooking the scenic bush & mountains we will be returning & recommend this beautiful place there's so much fun to be had right here at cedar Creek also.

Rooms well equipped for a weekend stay and heaps of activities. No mobile reception but otherwise fantastic. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and good quality food.

I would like to start off by recommending this accommodation to everyone. I have just returned from a few nights stay here and wish I could have moved in! We picked up our room on special online on scoopon and glad we did so! The rooms are clean, comfortable and provide all you need. The staff were lovely and helpful, we never had an issue. Breakfast was included in our deal and I recommend this too. Lovely food to get the morning started, with a beautiful coffee, before setting out to explore the rain forests, town and beautiful waterfalls. When it came to dinner time, the restaurant was closed however we ventured to an italian restaurant called the Belvedere. All who visit Mt Tamborine Mountain. Visit this restaurant! Absolutely incredible food and not over priced. The whole experience was so relaxing and fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

Snuggle in and chill out! Stayed overnight with a bunch of girls as part of a BMW Blowout Weekend and loved the snug cottage with warm fire and cosy interior. Hidden away at Thunderbird Park with plenty to do for the family we all decided we'd definitely come again. The cottage included breakfast and we also had dinner at the Park Restaurant which has a limited but pleasant menu. A great hideaway for grown-ups, romantic setting for weddings or weekends away and for 2 adults 2 kids to have a family adventure. Recommended.

As a local wedding photographer I love when I have weddings booked into Cedar Creek Lodges. The atmosphere, particularly during the reception when the party takes advantage of the amphitheater, is amazing. With services that have a rainforest as a backdrop the experience is quite unique. The range of locations for photographs is also fantastic. The staff all seem really competent and go out of their way to accommodate guests.

Not a fan of the service at all.

Arrived for check in at 2pm, room wasn't ready. When given the all clear to go to room, it was not cleaned. Air con was broken down with 40c outside. We were offered a pedestal fan. All the facilities are old and dodgey. Staff fail to take initiative and basically had no idea. This place would've been great 20yrs ago, but needs some serious money spent on it. We got a special from scoupon with an upgrade, was meant to be worth nearly $600 for the two nights and we got it for $278 which was still grosly over priced. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My husband and I stayed here on the weekend and were so happy with every part of our stay. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and we had dinner in the restaurant on one night which was devine. We didnt get to do all the activities but our 2 sons were very excited when we told them we had made a week booking for Christmas this year. Very excited to return.

Mill Lodge is terrible! Do not stay here. Grotty, smelly and really overpriced. Very disappointing. Glad to leave place and have a proper shower. Do not stay here with your kids. Hygiene in shower was awful. If you like old run down places with cockroaches, mould and dust then this is the place for you. If you want to get out of the place do the day time activities, they are fine, at least you won't have to look the accommodation.
