Such a great place to stay! Awesome for visiting all of Hervey Bay and a good place for a base to the islands and whale watching. Super friendly staff — and they were helpful with the accommodation package deal we selected. Next time we will try the Lady Elliot Island package!

Motel in Hervey Bay. It's a right place with no frills or anything. The right rooms and you park the car in front.
It is quite far from the pier and the promenade.
Friendly at reception and depending on the price ok.
They make arrangements for an excursion if you want.

Was looking at booking a diving holiday on Lady Elliot and Emeraldene came up along with a few others. They were the first to reply to my inquiry (some never bothered) and the whole experience was excellent. Having never been to Hervey Bay before I didn't realise how spread out it was and I though perhaps we were too far away from everything — but the amazingly efficient co-ordination they had with the local limo company made getting around a breeze, and the room and facilities were great — comfortable rooms, great, almost jungle like atmosphere and the staff were enthusiastic, had a great deal of knowledge of the local area and very helpful, pretty much organised a perfect holiday for us!

Great Resort! Super Green, Super quiet, a real paradise! Pool is a great place to relax, staff is very friendly!

Beautiful surrounds in lush tropical foliage. Clean and comfortable. Lena is friendly, helpful and welcomed me with open arms along with my family for a swim and bbq evening. Couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend staying here. Jill.

Quiet, well appointed, oasis on 4 acres.

Stayed here 3 nights back in August. The lovely lady, Lina, helped to organise a package holiday for us which included seeing the whales and island stay (highlights of our holiday). She was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable. Shower was large and hot water system was good.

Great, quiet place to stay a little bit out of the middle of Hervey Bay. Was only passing through, but the room was clean and comfortable with a good feel to it. Great hospitality from the owner in assisting with a late check in.

Well as I drove up the drive way the first impression was wow, after meeting the friendly staff at the front desk thought were in for a treat. Unfortunately that's were it stopped, we were told we had full kitchen emenities and even shown on a map were to find woolworths etc and told no need to buy greasy takeaway when we could cook as though we were at home. After buying groceries we went back to find NO kitchen emenities just a old microwave as outdated as the rest of the decor. Instead there is a BBQ that bearly works and the mosquitoes get as much of a feed as you do. After the long travel at best would give a 3.

The courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the idyllic greenery — like an oasis in industry. Pillows were a bit flat, but overall — THAT is the only knock. Loved it.

Lovely place, birds, nature a beautiful place to stay and chille.

Wife and I have just returned from a 4 day short break at Hervey Bay. We stayed at the Emeraldene Inn & Eco-Lodge. The decision to stay here was well justified. The room was clean, spacious and Rob was always available to assist us when required. A little bit away from the main ocean strip, but that also works in its favour because there is no traffic concerns. Highly recommend the Emeraldene as a place to stay when in Hervey Bay.

We came to Hervey Bay as the gateway to Fraser Island in May 2011. We had searched the web for Hervey Bay Accommodation and came up with the highly recommended Emeraldene Inn and Eco-Lodge as No. 2 on Trip Advisor. The accommodation (we stayed in one of their new Superior Suites) was superb and was certainly the cleanest and best presented room we had stayed in on this trip around the east coast. Hervey Bay is spread out and the Emeraldene is not in the centre of town but it is extremely well priced and it can be easily seen how they have won the local accommodation awards for the last 2 years. Owner Rob was a great help with touring and packages. Highly recommended.

My husband and I found this place through Trip Advisor. Rob was really nice and helpful. He recommended a few places to eat in the area. Even the cleaning lady, Kate, was really friendly and patient waiting for us as we checked out late as we were having trouble with the internet. I love it that they recycle and compost so there is very little trash left. The only negative is that their walls are thin and we heard the neighbor turn on the TV at 6am!
