We really wish we had read reviews before we came here dirty cabin ants everywhere spiders in the shower 1 pillow per person no extra blankets floors were dirty no toilet paper and the photos on the internet really need to be changed to show what a dive this place is definitely don’t waste your money at this place at all like seriously who doesn’t give you a full roll of toilet paper at the start of your stay.

If there were 0 stars that is what I would rate this place. Totally feral and unprofessional. A week before my check in date, I rang to make some enquires. Everytime I rang, the staff would answer “hellloooo” and I would have to clarify …. Is this the top tourist park? Surely being a business you could easily answer the phone semi professionally. One time I rang to enquire if there was any upgrades available. Two staff members attempted to help, but all I could hear was them getting frustrated at eachother, leaving me on the other end to hear their bickering crap and wait an unreasonable amount of time for a simple answer. This should have been my first red flag, but I decided not to judge the place based off two phone calls, after-all people do have bad days and that’s ok. A day before my arrival, I had not received any check in confirmation or contactless check instructions. I rang and the staff member suggested there was no email or phone number on the booking which explains why I hadn’t received anything. I find this odd, because I supplied both an email and phone number when I booked. Anyway, after a bit of messing around the staff member ended up texting me the details. On arrival I noted that the pictures I had seen on the Internet did not match reality. This place was pretty rank. I proceeded to find my room which was unlocked as per the late check in arrangement. When I opened the door the stench of cigarettes almost floored me.

When we arrived at our room, the bed was almost impossible to sleep on with springs digging into our backs. Zero padding. Both myself and my partner woke up with awful back pain after only maybe 4 hours total of sleep. Our towels had yellow stains all over them (Gross). The bathrooms were foul, 5 out of the 6 stalls were clogged and unusable, the showers were dirty and stank. We ended up staying only 1 night out of our expected 6 due to needing to leave for an emergency. Went to see reception in the morning around 10, doors were locked and nobody was there. Returned about an hour or so later to find staff inside chatting but the doors still locked. Once we were let in, We let them know we needed to leave and asked about any options regarding a refund for the 5 nights we were no longer able to stay for. We were told because we booked online they couldn't do anything. Staff generally weren't bothered about anything or our situation, not very helpful. We contacted our online booking platform 10 minutes later for said refund and they said they would help and they just need to contact Top Tourist parks. They then put us on hold and called TTP to which there was no response. We then received an email from booking site stating the request had been denied by Top Tourist Parks. In the circumstances I think this is just poor customer service. We stayed 1 night out of 6 and weren't able to receive any form of compensation. Generally dissatisfied and won't be returning.

Friendly staff, so accommodating with pets on site. Beautiful hot showers and laid back vibe. Walking distance to the beach. Great pool for the kids — Definitely would return. Thank you 😊

Fantastic quiet little park the owner and staff go beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible very helpful very polite very clean and great facilities will definitely be back thanks for the great week.

We stayed there on the weekend and the room we were in the ceiling had a hole in it. It wasn't worth the money we paid. I wanted to walk out as soon as we got there. But paid our money. Toilets in the ladies end never flushed properly, everytime I went in each toilet had stuff in it. We were on our wedding anniversary. And didn't enjoy our stay at all.

We were sold a studio room to our family of 5. We arrived, booked in and paid after being promised everything would suit. Outside neighbors had dirty smoking ash trays and cans scattered. Front and back door led out onto busy roads which was not safe for our kids. We told reception it wouldn’t suit and we would move along. We enjoy staying at caravan parks often however this spot was unsafe for our kids. Sadly paid in full already and they refused even a partial refund. I hope they don’t sell these rooms to other families as they are completely unsafe.

Was not impressed at all with the park, employees rolling 'cigarettes' at the reception and lining them up on the desk. Lack of facilities around park (only 1 bbq in camp kitchen). Employees walking around like they were under the influence of some sort of substance. The cabin was very basic with limited cooking facilities and the cleanliness could do with much more attention.

Stay away, cabins are dirty, under the bed has 2cm later of dust, mould in showers and the managers are rude and unhelpful. The cleaning staff they employ were staying in a van opposite our cabin, They appear to be young backpackers and each evening we had the smell of dope being smoked coming from The cleaners van 0 stars.

On the net the room looked great but turned out very plain.

Stayed in a “delux cabin”.
It was disgusting, filthy dirty. Bunk beds covered in hair and dirty. Cockroaches roaming the place. Blankets filthy and smelly unwashed for a long period of time. We only booked 1 night thankfully and left in the middle of the night as we couldn’t stand it. Stay away it’s gross! Thank god we didn’t need the cutlery as it all looked dirty. Stay away!

Do not choose this camping site if you don't want to ruin your holiday.
They sold a tiny place among the toilet, bins, and the dump point as a powered site, no power, not water tap, no site number. Thank my friends us to let us squeeze our tent in their site.
The managers are very rude, they said: "this is the only place I can give you, if you want to leave, you can leave, but we don't do a refund. " Of course we won't leave, we booked the site with friends 2 months before. Not providing qualified camping site is their fault, we won't leave because of their fault.
At the same time, the site is just located besides a main road, which is so loud. The whole site is very small, not a good place to spend your holiday.

Great park! Amazing staff! Cheap and clean! Great amenities! Will definitely be returning in the future! For the price we paid for budget room the service was above and beyond! Great little cafe next door — amazing food!

A small park but very friendly staff with a heated pool and hot spa. Amenities are very clean with great showers.

Where do I start? The room was disgusting. Wouldn’t put my worst enemy in there. The ‘relief’ managers are not pleasant at all. The man told us he didn’t care for our happiness when we he was making us move our car to some unsafe random place down the road. I mean our room was cheap but to be honest it wasn’t worth even half of what we spent. They kept calling it a backpackers but as you’ll see in the description it’s called ‘Fraser coast tourist park’. Oh and almost forgot if… you are silly enough to book and end up experiencing the karaoke please do yourself a favour and take ear plugs. The obnoxious lady who runs it mainly sings herself (if you can call it singing) and loudly! If you try to get up and sing as well she doesn’t react well and turns the volume right down. I’m still having nightmares about this place. Also put this review up on trip advisor and they replied with absolute lies. I don’t even get the chance to defend myself. I never refused to move my car to the relief manager. I told him I was worried about leaving my car in an unsafe place and he said I could leave my car where it was until the next day. I was confronted later at night by the other guests who was rude and bullish demanding I moved the car. I actually did move the car in the end. I don’t appreciate lies! The relief managers were extremely rude and unprofessional. I’m going to be taking this further as I don’t appreciate the reply to my review.

We LOVE this Park! Amenities are clean all the time, the Park is clean and well kept all the time. The hosts are awesome. It's a small park so everything is close. The pool is delightful, as is the spa… can't really say anything bad about this Park, we'd definitely come back!

Very welcoming staff with a great laid back atmosphere. Pool area is great as well. Only downfall is some sites are quite small in length not width. Well worth a visit but.

This park would be the neatest and cleanest park we have encountered all the way up the coast staff at very helpful and security is great would recommend to everyone
