Beyond amazing! Fantastic staff who were smiling and friendly in the Reception and Restaurant last night. Food was first class too — THEN my daughter left her life long teddy bear in the bed when we left at 6am this morning. I called the hotel just now and the most amazing and caring lady on receiption went out of her way to go and look through all the used linen to find the teddy (unicorn that is 8 years old) Dani you are a TRUE saint! But the First class customer care does not stop there! Dani is going to personally drive a couple of hours to meet us with “Unicornie” this weekend to hand her back — we live 3 hours away. We will definitely be back and also highly recommend this amazing place to everyone! Thank you from the happiest eleven year old in the world!

Would definitely recommend the Bistro to everyone. Their meals were fantastic and a great size meal as well. Lovely friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. My husband and I will eat there again for sure. A+++

Sells nice cold beer not at a rip off price and has very efficient pleasant staff.

The meals are lovely, however many patrons entered and did not check in, as required.

Great food the staff are excellent and so helpful. Nothing to fault.

Staff are amazing, very helpful, we didn't want a big meal, so we ordered a pizza and garlic bread to take back to our room, it was delicious highly recommended.

Went for lunch on Melbourne Cup day. What a huge disappointment. Only 2 menu choices. Food was overcooked, tasteless and obviously microwaved to reheat. They had a function on and it would have been better if they cancelled lunch in the dining room. Won’t return.

Have stayed at Kondari a few times now & I have never had an issue with their staff. All lovely, vibrant & helpful. Anything we have ever asked, has never been an issue for them. The food is delicious. Love sitting near the lake watching the turtles & ducks, have seen possums on occasion. Lovely place to relax after work. Definitely recommend staying here.

Good venue for function and good food, and good service.

Bistro meal was wonderful and very filling. Room was very clean and nice big bed. Great stay for the night. Excellent location.

The manager Danni is disgustingly rude!
The girls behind the bar, couldn’t even find a manager to get a keg changed. They were very polite but. The lady taking meal orders was lovely as well.
The food is delicious.
But I think you should seriously reconsider who you have on your management team.

I am so glad to see Kondari open again after covid. Their meals are the best in the bay and the service with a smile and positive energy is a bonus. Congratulations on the re opening Kondari.

What more can be said. Amazing. Peaceful open setting units around lake. Close walk to the beach. Staff are the best. Nothing is to much trouble. Ali is absolutely amazing nothing is too much trouble. Ali and her team go the extra mile to make you feel special. Then last but not least is the food. Breakfast buffet and coffee to the amazing dinner meals. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Kondari and they were amazing! Beyond words amazing! Nothing was too much, the food was awesome and there was so much! The staff were incredible and made us all feel so welcome. Would go back there in a heartbeat! Thank you all so much for making our day so special and everything we could have hoped for!

Excellent food and fast friendly service. A favourite place for a good value meal in the Bay.

Rooms are good for budget accomodation but the cleaners don’t remake the rooms very well — one of our kids beds was just remade from the last use with hairs between the sheets. Called housekeeping and they were only too happy to come and make the bed with new sheets.

The service provided was fantastic and the meals were excellent. Good atmosphere with free pool tables on Saturday and also darts available while watching football made for a great night out.

We have been going to Kondari for lunch time meals for over 3 years now. The service is amazing & the meals are really lovely. We have not had a bad meal, the quality is always the same. The staff are all very good and will go out of their way to help you. It is really good value too. This is our favorite place for our meals while on holidays each year. Don't bother cooking in the caravan when we can go here.

I would recommend the Kondari-Hotel a great place to stay for a holiday, I was there for 4 days in January for a wedding and could not fault it in any way. Very friendly staff and great meals and nice accommodation. Would definitely recommend Kondari to any of my friends looking for a place to stay in Hervey Bay.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Meals were scrumptious. Facilities were more than ample. Every staff member was curteous, personable and approachable.

Third time there for a meal within a month staff great meals top notch.

If you are looking for 5 Star accomodation then this is not your place. If you are looking for good old fashioned value for money and customer service then this is definitely the place. We cannot recommend Kondari more highly. Very affordable, comfortable accomodation. Customer service was outstanding, very friendly and nothing was a problem. Ali and her team went out of their way on a number of occasions to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The restaurant’s food was very affordable, generously portioned and delicious. The kids loved hand feeding the turtles at the lake everyday. All that before leaving the hotel. There is a BWS on site and Woolworths is just down the road. Walking distance to the foreshore. They can also book tours onsite.
We will defiantly be coming back.

Except for the cleaning staff this place is fantastic budget accommodation. All other staff were really great. We stayed here 4 nights & ate here a lot. Food lovely. The reception were really good. One stand out was a Kerrie who was on bar & bistro, this girl was amazing & a breath of fresh air. The only negative was cleaning staff. Easter eggs under bed, dirty pillowcase & room not serviced some days.

Very comfy bed. Beautiful place to stay and the hotel next door has the best menu and its also cheap. Close proximity to everything.

Lovely light lunch crumbed prawn and chips. Liked the eating area beside lake with grass now.

Delicious chicken and avocado dish salad bar and beer. No sea view but has a pond with turtles and lots of birds. Nice place to chill.

We had the buffet breakfast on the weekend. Food was good quality and fresh. Nothing crazy but good standard brekky food. Great value for the price. Playground kept the kids happy while I could keep eating.

Great place too eat out, affordable for accommodation. Play poker every Wednesday night and Friday night from 7pm. Overall a great family pub from my prospective.

The rooms are clean but dated, however, they get the job done and gmfoe the price are fine. The bistro has a great variety of good food and good prices. Outdoors and indoor dining.

Great hotel. Kids loved the pool. Close to everything hervey bay has to offer.

Room was not as expected for a venue which calls itself a 4 star resort, was more like 3 star motel room. Reception was not there during advertised times, which prevented us from trying for another room. Air con was very inefficient, it was a humid day/night and fan speed would not go above very low. No toiletries other than a bar of soap in bathroom, nor tissues — not what is normally expected from a 4 star resort. If you want to stay here, ensure you have a lakeside chalet, don't settle for the motel rooms.

The food & service are excellent. Simon that was working on the floor was fantastic. Very friendly & accomodating couldn’t of asked for better service. Highly recommend.

Great meals with competitive prices and gorgeous water views frim the dining room. If you're looking to go somewhere quiet for lunch this is the place. Plenty of parking too.

Have been in Hervey bay staying with my mother due to a family situation. We have had the pleasure of going to kondari for breakfast twice. And today we went over there for lunch. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends. The staff are fantastic nothing seems to be a trouble. Thankyou to all the staff.

Had dinner here. Had to ask for cutlery. Steak was charcoal on the outside to the point it tasted like sucking on a burnt stick. Asked for extra sauce. Didnt get it. Then under the salad was what I thought was a chip turns out it was what I suspect was a lump of old off cheese that nearly made me vomit. Couldnt finish had to spit half the steak into a napkin. Lucky for them hubby convinced me to not ask for our money back as it looked like they were short staffed. Still… worst dinner ever.

Rooms are great value but king size bed was terrible. Its like 2 single bed put together then something put in middle to hold them together. Has a great restaurant there tho.

Lovely place and lovely staff but the food was just awful. I ordered the bruschetta on toasted crusty bread and the beer battered barramundi. The toasted crusty bread was anything but, the beer battered fish was processed and frozen, and the mash was instant mash. The pizza we ordered as an entree was awesome though. Lovely place just needs some tlc in the kitchen. I didn't know it until now that someone did actually approach my husband and ask if everything is ok, but he said all was fine because he didn't want to cause a problem. If they had asked me I would have told them.

Hadn't been there for quite sometime decided to go fathers day for all you can eat breakfast, will definitely be going back again soon. Love it.

Nice place. Staff are friendly. Free coffee machine STILL BROKEN after how many months? Water only for cashless visitors. Various entertainment, tvs, tab, keno. Free to play Poker a few times a week, kareoke Saturday nights with Bronco and wifey.

Attended event on the back function space. Lovely area, fantastic facilities. Staff were lovely. Nice and cheap food and drink.

The staff were lovely but unfortunately the hotel rooms really need a face lift. The bathrooms had mould all through them and had next to know comfort. Suppose that is what you get for cheap accommodation though.

Motel not hotel. "King" bed is two singles pushed together. Wi-Fi doesn't work. Insufficient bedding.

The food at Kondari is nothing spectacular and recently have visited after a couple of years to find the prices have increased quite a bit. You get an all-you-can eat salad bar and hot veggies. The restaurant is attached the pokies room and there's a sports bar too. It's somewhere you can go for a casual meal but not really for a special occasion.

They messed up food order.

The food at Kondari is nothing spectacular, but the food is good value averaging around $12. At lunch you also get an all-you-can eat salad bar, and at dinner all-you-can eat hot veggies. The restaurant is attached the pokies room so it's somewhere you can go for a nice, cheap meal — but not really for a special occasion.

Their food wasn't the best but it was alright.

The Wifi doesn't work 95% of the time. They doesn't let you use their microwave to heat anything. Forget to save some money in food or bring some leftovers. They offer a kettle, but no place to fill it with water. The place is very noisy from 5am. If you are travelling and want to rest, this is not the place. Doesn't matter if you request a room with a queen bed. They are going to give you one with 2 single beds togheter. Get ready to get the room opened at any time without notice. No matter if you are inside. No matter if you say you don't need cleaning. Suddenly they open your door to enter.

The unit was neglected for price charged. Lights not working, refrigerator needs defrosting. Not same as previous owners.
