Cooktown Hotels with a Parking

Such a delightful stay. Spotless with a breathtaking view. We even had kitchen facilities and washing machine and dryer for our use. So pleased I chose Riva Le Vista.

This accommodation was a real find. It has spectacular views, friendly hosts and provided very comfortable accommodation. They have thought of everything.

We only overnighted here having driven from Cairns to Cooktown (which we had not visited before) via the sealed highways.

Great little lodge just a short drive out of town. Nice to be in a very peaceful setting. Been before will go again!

Firstly, the location is amazing — great views, close to the esplanade walkway and a beautiful old building. The service was good and the pool is incredible — clean and perfect.

The Sovereign Resort Hotel offers a solid, upscale experience with a few minor drawbacks.

Really lovely setup. Room so comfortable and clean. Great communal kitchen. Well located for exploring the area. Hosts were very friendly and informative. Would recommend.

Amazing hospitality service. Couldn’t ask for more lovely hosts who are also very knowledgeable on the area and helped with destination ideas. Very clean and well kept area, close to everything.

Visited on the very busy Cooktown Cup Race weekend. Lovely welcome & helpful reception offering upgrade after others cancelled.

I had dinner at the Chinese restaurant inside The River of Gold Motel, and it was such a great experience!

Excellent accomodation. Good location, excellent hostess who couldn’t do enough for you. The house was extremely well stocked with more than you would expect.

Great budget options in Cooktown. Rooms are basic, but accommodation options there are limited and generally expensive.
The rooms are basic but great value, with everything you need.

We found staff friendly, who also went out of their way to accommodate our special needs. Rooms were basic but clean & value for money. Everthing well kept including grounds & garden area.
