Back gate to exit property doesn't work. Few other non-working things in room otherwise comfortable and priced ok.

Only one lovely staff member there, running reception, bar and restaurant under stressful circumstances. The room was poxy and the manager was abrupt and rude. Have stayed a couple of times but won't be back.

Conviently located, my room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. The bathroom has a shower cubicle over a bath, not my favorite as there is always a falls hazard. Parking here can be a real problem with limited capacity when the motel is near capacity, I found it difficult to find a park each night that I stayed. Also found the lighting wanting as I need to complete paperwork each night when I return to my room.

The Bates motel of Cairns. 0 stars. There is no hot water. There is no internet and no movies. We complained about no hot water and were told oh has this still not been fixed and apparently hasnt worked for months. Our further complaints about the poor conditions have been met with well thats too bad. We recommend the caravan park down the road. Or there is a bus shelter out the front.

Modern. Comfy bed. Pool. Air con. Friendly reception. Breakfast available. Reasonable distance from town. Awesome value.

Great family hotel with the great staff. Lovely clean rooms, a place of peace and quiet. Make it your next stay while in Cairns.

Carpark and park and pool area full of litter. Got a family room and it smelled (stale/ mouldy etc) a bit funny. Air con didn't seem that good but because I bought a no refund deal decided to hang out in town and just sleep there. Left a. C. Running to cool room but still 30 degrees when we got back 5 hours later. Called ah reception as not open hours mentioned on bookings and eventually offered 2 small room with modern a. C. Had no choice but to sleep the kids down the hallway in motel. The a. C. In these room barely coolled the rooms although the rooms were much nicer. In the morning after being on max cool all night room temp down to 27 degrees. Better to spend a few more $ and go elsewhere.

Staff are super helpful. Room service for the hotel is quick and friendly too. Just make sure you order before 6pm.

0 stars at best. I think all these other 5 star reviews must be the owner trying to make it look good. Staff are non-existent and we checked in on an intercom. The place in general is dirty and smells of urine plus a variety of rotting dead animals. Was forced to share a balcony with strangers above a “water feature” that is actually a mosquito breeding pool full of empty beer cans. The cups are dirty and the milk has lumps in it, I’ve given up trying to drink my lumpy morning coffee in order to write this instead. Don’t stay here it’s a hole, we’re never staying here again.

Room was large and very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Only criticism would be that the kitchen/ dining room was closed and no one mentioned this to me on booking in. There were menus for the dining room in the room, on the dining room door, at the front counter, but no where did it say it was closed. Was only told when I went to go fur my evening meal and staff then directed me to a hotel across a 6 lane highway. Other then that great value for the price.

Room was very clean, staff were friendly & price was great. We would not hesitate to stay here on our next visit to Cairns.

Place is dirty. Rooms are nothing like the photos. Broken lights every where. Riped curtains. Place could do with a clean and some maintenance.

They provided a good customer service. We asked for a new room on the second day of our stay due to the uncomfortable bed and they did it on the spot. Free foxtel, our room had a big size tv.

We took pot luck on one of the booking sites on a mystery booking and without knowing the actual accommodation and the description was positive. This description turned out to be very over stated!. Our room was at least clean and tidy which is important but the room was dark with no aspect to the out side other than a small-ish window overlooking a very sad garden of weeds. Sound proofing to the corridors was very bad and noisy but at least road noise was ok which was good as it is located on Mulgrave Street/Bruce Hwy. The location suited us for what we wanted to get done in Cairns, the price was reasonable but I would really only want one or two nights. The old adage you get what you pay for is very true here.

Interesting hotel Off the main entertainment Esplanade Situated on the highway and close to a big shopping centre 24hr checkin.

Terrible experience from the minute we arrived. Booked 2 interconnectinh rooms for my family of 2adults and 3 kids. On arrival at 8PM room was not cleaned from previous guests. Had to separate as a family and sleep in different rooms. Next morning the Airconditining was leaking water on to the TV below. No concept of cleaniness. No cleaning or even vaccuming for first 3 days. When approached reception simply told sorry the cleaners are new to their jobs. Advertise on some websites as foxtel and dedicated movie channel is an absolute lie. Out of date diet coke cans sold in the bar. The fridge in room 51 is noisy especially at night when trying to sleep. The BBQ area is disgusting including the BBQ no gas in the bottles told to pan fry the meat in the room where the smoke alarm just kept going off for the half an hour of cooking causing all patrons on the floor to noise once the front door opened to let smoke out. The lights are a joke just come on and turn off as it pleases. Were assured maintenance wud fix it ni sign of maintenance for the daya between 4th July to 12 th July. Not enought car parks for all hotel guests. The hotel curtains were being washed in the hotels laundromat. The dryers didnt work. When reception was informed were told to use the laundromat down the road. Um dont want to spend 2 hours of my holiday time at a laundromat.

Beautiful weather at this time of the year. Lots to do and see.

Have enjoyed our time that much we have extended out stay, rooms are clean, quiet and well appointed, staff are extremely happy and welcoming, would not and could not fault our stay, thank you, will stay again when up this way.

Very nice employees, we needed more towels and our bathroom light changed, they responded quickly. Rooms and hallways were clean. Laundry room on site. The beds are very hard. We rented a queen/twin room, the room was very tight. But comfortable. Pretty clean, the shower needs a little more cleaning, black mold spots. Our Wi-Fi in room 11 worked great.

Decent enough motel for 75 AUD. Definitely not the 4 star place Priceline suggested though. The place could use some TLC. The Wi-Fi was free but slow.

Is not 4 star. Maybe 20 years ago it was. Big money needs to be invested in bringing it up to current 4 star spec. No hot water, aircon/heating didn't even turn on, only 1 thin blanket on bed in winter with no others in room like other hotels do have in their wardrobes. Worst nights sleep ever. This is not a 4 star hotel. Would have at least been nice to have a warm shower.

Don't stay here. TL;DR This is not a 4 star hotel. This is a 2 star motel. The television remote was sticky. The "balcony" for the first floor rooms is basically an extension of the parking lot. The furniture is dated and worn. The comforter. I questions how long that's been around and unwashed. The bed is uncomfortable, you can feel every spring inside the mattress. This is a "4 star hotel" with no concierge and a manager who is always conveniently off site. This is not a 4 star hotel at a great price, instead it's an overpriced 2 star motel.
