Did really know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean and has a luxury relaxing vibe. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Little features that make your stay special. Love the shower head, big bath tubs. Air con was very cold and having the tile floors made the room a relief to enter as it is in November and is quiet hot outside. The place is very kid friendly with a kiddies pool.

Very reasonable for a quite getaway in a beautiful location.

No complaints, a lovely room, very peaceful. Comfy bed and nice linen.

2nd time staying here & definitely recommend. Will be back soon 4 a relaxing long wkend. Kids love it — с Farlei Si.

This is our 4th visit here. We liked the location also the rooms with 2 queen beds. However, this time Covid has definitely taken its toll, very few people here resulting in services being cut back. The resort has two pools, we prefer the rectangle one behind the second building as it heats up better and (usually) is quieter than the main pool. I kept thinking they would upgrade it as it doesn’t even have a handrail to help getting in and out but instead this time they had removed all sunloungers from this area. The staff are lovely, helpful and cheerful. The deal we got was great value.

Would never recommend this place. When we called up to book the guy hang up on us 3 times. When we first got here we got our room and it stank like mould and was a disabled room, we got moved to new room then the air conditioning did not work in that room got moved again. Then paid for breakfast $27.50 with a poor selection of food.

Had a fantastic time there with my kids. Will bring whole family next time.

Made us feel so comfortable on our stay and created such an amazing reception for us xx.

$450 for 2 nights and not only was the room badly in need of some renovations but those beds and for god sake I think it’s time to replace your pillows, they have definitely reached use by date.

Nice hotel in a good location. Family friendly atmosphere with a choice of 2 pools one with a slide for the kids. Both well maintained with plenty of space to sit by the pool. Unfortunately the hotel rooms could do with a revamp. The beds are hit and miss and the bathrooms need some work. However the rooms are quite large and most have a washing machine which is excellent for a young family. If you have a car parking is easy and convenient.

Friendly and helpful staff, good reaturant menu and pool area, average rooms and average breakfast buffet.

Enjoyed my stay however the TV remote control is a cash cow. Got charged $25.00 For pressing the wrong button. Asian girl at reception was most unhelpful.

Very pleasant, satisfying experience. Strongly recommended, will return. Reception must fix the card access to rooms, ATM to be fixed.

Good location, nice and close to the beach. Food was good, especially the chips! Poolside restaurant has a nice atmosphere.

Disappointing stay. The two pillows on each double bed were thin and uncomfortable and there were no extras in the cupboard. The air-conditioning was fierce but there was no control for the temp so it had to be either on or off. No plug in the bathroom for the bath. Requested a slightly early check in as we were guests at a wedding there and were told that woukd be fine, we didn't get in until normal time. Not enough sugar in the room for coffee and tea. Wouldn't recommend.

Nice place, but poor room maintenance. Our shower bath combination had a large crack in the bath, so we could not use either the shower or bath. The tiles needed a good scrub, very dirty. The fridge leaked all over the floor the first night, the freezer catch tray was overflowing, so we had to clean it all up. Such a pity as it looks so nice otherwise.

Sadly cannot recommend as a locals friendly place to visit although the outdated advertising misleadingly invites locals in. Have regularly visited for lunches and spent dollars but feel there are now better places where locals are appreciated as now GCPC’s ‘deals’ have further restrictions, negating any ‘locals deal’. Food and pool has always been good.

Really very remote, there is nothing around, the room is a suite, but the first day to check in with the sugar bag around are ants, air-conditioning because of boiling water on the automatic shutdown and no longer open the situation. Run to the front desk rang the bell for half a day there is no one, once again rang the bell after the Asian face but can not speak Chinese elderly women come out to board a face, said the air-conditioning is not bad, I am sure I put more water, I said: then please go and see. As a result she followed, looked at I only burned half a pot more a little kettle, said to himself that sometimes it is like this, told me to burn half pot … Then the ant, I asked her to see, the result she said must be the last guest to make, and then casually pinch the death of some ants to perfunctory, when she put the sugar bag back to that still climbing ants in the shelf when I completely silent … At the back of the day the front desk was a white lad, with a very friendly attitude, 5 points for the young man, the old woman absolutely must-5 points!

Lovely spot. Only downside is lack of Wi-Fi in rooms.

Room and sheets smelled mouldy. Was charged $1.80 to call the hotel restaurant to make a booking. Reception was helpful and friendly, other employees not so much.

Big, beautiful pool at the perfect temperature! Friendly bar staff. We came here to play air hockey and would sometimes enjoy the food specials.

Comfortable Hotel, in a great location, surrounded by nature, so much to meet in the path to go to the center of Palm Cove a small kangaroo. Great breakfast.

Great place to stay. Multiple pools with clean rooms and close to the beach but no overlooking it with all the business and noise. Close to good food and drink places and good for kids in the pool and ocean.

Rooms are ok, more but not too. Could be cleaned properly. Reception so the staff super Nice. Free Towels. Bar only open until 9:00 pm.

Hotel is not located on the beach, but very quiet. Nothing going on in the hotel. Complaints regarding cleanliness are not taken into account. The gastronomy also leaves you wishes. For 115€ the night I expect more. A giant cockroach and spider webs in the room are apparently normal. Only suitable as a transit hotel.

Terrible rooms. Nice staff but so over worked could not deal with the number of people booked in or any requests. Extremely bad at coordinating rooms, 1st room I was booked in at was already had guest so they moved me another room which you think was great but NO … At 1 am another person entered the room (another double booking) such bad security. Sad because palm cove is lovely but not at this hotel.

Very disappointing. The surrounds & pool are nice and staff are friendly, however that is is the only positive comment I can make. The breakfast was shocking — over cooked poached eggs. Cereal tasted like it was old or off. We paid extra for cappuccino & it was served in a takeaway cup. When we asked for some more sugar we were told that they had run out? Our room was substandard. Soft bed & lumpy pillows. The bathroom has broken tiles & mould. The door was rotten & needs replacing. My hubby was about to open the bathroom window but couldn't because the maintenance guy was painting the outside. This property would not stand a chance in cyclone as the bottom of the pillars have completely rusted away. Also, it is a good 10 minute walk to the esplanade & shops.

Staff are very friendly and not afraid to have a laugh with their customers. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Wonderful experience.

The room we stayed in was nicely situated, with the pool outside the door. For this time of year the prices are to be expected. I don't think I would choose to stay here again. The staff were courteous and friendly.

Very poor stayed here about 6 years ago & the only change is the name if they didn't have my credit card I would have kept driving. They did change our room as the first stunk & needs renovations like the whole comple. They take full payment plus up front so don't get caught out find somewhere else.

My best friend and I stayed here for a week in January. We loved it. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Our room was great value and Palm cove was the perfect tropical getaway to escape the busy city life. We found the perfect balance between tourist activities and relaxing at the hotel (by the pool with a cocktail in hand! ). We would go back in a heartbeat — highly recommended!

Great place for a relaxing tropical getaway! Clean and spacious rooms, affordable food and drinks menu, great pool and outstanding service from the staff who were only too happy to go above and beyond to make sure you got the most out of your stay!

This hotel is nestled between a mountainous rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. It's not the fanciest hotel I've been in, but everybody is incredibly friendly and the views are spectacular. The amenities offered make it more like a resort than a hotel.

Poor quality room in need of a lot of maintenance.
