Great accommodation for a great price. Continental breakfast included. No en-suite in the bedrooms. Very clean. Great location.

Nice river views, lovely clean rooms. Staff are wonderful. Not far from. BNE airport.

Great place to stay come and visit.

If you care for your own safety I would not recommend staying here. Some angry guy in room 27 got mad because we were too loud and followed us down the street and knocked my cousin out. It was a very uncomfortable stay. I would also like to add that staff did not take any action in resolving this issue and let the aggressive tenant continue to intimidate us in the breakfast room.

Is very old style private hotel, there is as lot better nearby. Dear for what it is. Most staff are back Packers and not very knowledgeable about area, and lack helpful service.

Clean and friendly but communal facilities should be made clear as this is very unusual nowadays.

Location central to so many things however the bright lights of the BP glared through our curtains all night and the noise of intense traffic and budget bedding made it hard to sleep. The communal amenities (shower and toilet) were exceptionally clean, as was the midget sizes room however the fridge (which wasn't plugged in when we arrived so the milk was warm) had mould stains through it. Air Con worked well.

Clean, view of the river in front facing rooms but not much else to recommend. Super basic. Communal bathroom. And not that cheap. Probably better value elsewhere.

Very friendly staff! Great location and price. Facilities were well kept, a little dated. Comfortable beds, though there was a lot of noise coming from the street through the night. We didn't get to try the breakfast because we slept in and missed out. It was a very convenient place to stay after a night at the entertainment centre.

I got to the motel check in was a breeze but open the door to the room to find that it was a twin room not a double room that I booked so I got the booking up just to check I didn't book the wrong room but I did book the wright room so went straight down stairs and said I booked a double room so the guy upgraded me to a double room with a view I definitely can't complain about the, but the pillow cases on the bed smelt I really think they got skipped when the room was getting cleaned just lucky I had my own pillow part from that the shared bathrooms where clean every time I when't to use them.

Very centrally located hotel, shared bathroom with other guests, good kitchen utilities and free continental breakfast which is very well stocked are big plusses. Decent TV and while close to main roads, the inn is quite quiet, all things considered. The free parking was a nice touch as well.

Service was good and there were no problems.

We showed up late with dogs and a car on a trailer and they were more than happy to not only accomodate us but help me find a safe place to park up. Great service, well priced very happy.

What a great stay! The rooms are clean and have a nice view onto the Brisbane River and everyone was very friendly and helpful whenever I had a question. Also, the Wi-Fi worked great and was actually free ;-) Will stay there again.

Night road-work makes sleep impossible, on top of which, Charles Doyles' staff refused to show me a room, when I asked to negotiate on price, he threatened, by phone, to have me removed & now he thinks defaming my character online is a viable course of action, proving his ignorance of Australian Law. Avoid at all costs, no private bathrooms, just bad & over-priced!

I don't Know where you stayed but a group of 7 of us stayed there in early August 2011 and had a great time. Yes the building is old and it is situated on a busy road but it is clean. The managers are friendly and you can't beat the position. Across the road from a bus stop, right on the Brisbane river, walking distance to the Breakfast Creek Hotel and Albion Park Racecourse. We caught a shuttle bus from the airport right to the door and were picked up by the same bus for our return. You can't beat the price. And breakfast is included! While the traffic was noisy at peak hour we still managed to sleep in past 7am which gave us plenty of time to shower and dress before breaky. You get what you pay for and for the price this was excellent value for money.

Good on inside below average outside, but it was fine, ok price, but it was good on sunrise, overall it was fine we loved it, nice TV tho.
