Loved all the artwork throughout the hotel. Everything beautiful and clean. Staff friendly. Close to James Street Shopping Precinct.

Really great staff. Dave is particularly helpful.

Not even so much as a microwave in the room.

Great weekend spent at the Tryp. Couldn't fault the room (king sized bed + a block out blind = 12 hours sleep the first night! ). The whole building is gorgeous and we will be back. Thank you.

I Stayed here with my wife over the weekend. Staff was very friendly, nice and took the time to show us to our room and point out the history and the room amenities. The hotel was very clean and had a unique artistic feature. The room we had was up to date with smart tv's and free Wi-Fi. The bed was very comfortable unlike a lot of the other hotels we have stayed at. Only a few blocks from James Street and McWhirters shops. The restaurant attached to the hotel is really good, I highly recommend the brisket.

Been looking forward to this stay as I saw the photos and wanted to experience their best room. It was fantastic! From the excellent service I got the moment I checked in to the magnificent room I got plus the private jacuzzi in my room, I had a wonderful stay.

Really great vibe from the hotel. It's in a great location and has a few different room types to choose from. The hotel has an awesome artistic history. Staff are lovely. Definitely would recommend.

Funky modern hip vibe. Loved the beats pumping on the ground floor when I went down for breakfast on Thursday morning. I think the bottled water should be free and not charged. Staff is very friendly.

We stayed here for a few nights. The staff were super helpful. Archies was great fro breakfast lunch and dinner. Tryp is so close to everything. The location was perfect!

Stayed here a couple of times as of now. A top tear choice if your time in Brisbane is around Fortitude Valley. Stylish, fresh and unbelievable service, highly recommend.

Shame that I can only give a 4 star because everything else was fab for this cute hotel. We were staying in Brisbane for the night as we were going to a gig in The Zoo and we had actually been to The Osborne Hotel next door for a couple of drinks earlier in the evening, but it was unfortunate that the music from The Osborne was really loud from our hotel room until 3:00 am… Not a complaint, as this would undoubtedly be out of the control of the Tryp, but I would definitely ask for a room on a different side of the building next time we stay.

Had the outdoor spa room. Fantastic service on check in and check out. Fastest checkout process EVER! Spa was fantastic. The downfall was the pillows and the bed.

The staff are amazing and the best feature of what is already a great hotel. Awesome location and modern stylish rooms. Our favourite stay-cation location in Brisbane.

Funky little hotel. Incredibly nice staff and really welcoming. Rooms are on the small side and overall it is certainly more of a creative atypical experience than any other hotels around the area.

So romantic. Love Love Love this motel. Lacks space in bathroom though. Close to cafe's, pubs, restaurants and bus & train stations. Friendly staff. Burger cafe' in Resort is so yum. Try it. You'll love it.

Technically a 4.5 star just because I can hear music through the walls but everything else was amazing. Great, friendly, and exremely helpful staff. The best pillows ever, I haven't slept better in years. Would happily sleep through the music just for those pillows.
Quite hipster-y feel to the place, nothing wrong with that and they rock it. The food in Chur Burgers is awesome as well.

TRYP is a fantastic place to stay. Close to shops, public transport, and entertainment venues, this is where to be when wanting to have a few nights out on the town. The facilities were top notch. The rooms are sound-proofed to the point where it is a shock to the system when first stepping outside. I would wholeheartedly stay at TRYP again!

Amazing hotel, if you are in the Valley for business or a weekend out on the town, choose this place! Super friendly staff and the rooms are really hight-tech. I am was really impressed with this place. Restaurant next door is mainly burgers, they so it well though. Rooftop bar is also a nice addition to this unique little art-themed spot in the valley.

The hotel staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful! I couldn't fault them. The room is modern, stylish and spacious. I'm very happy with my stay so far.

Hotel has a really nice feel. All of the staff were super-friendly and the location is really handy. Restaurant is good, nice library, terrific Wi-Fi and entertainment hub in the rooms. 4 Stars as there's a bit of noise at night from nearby bars; (it didn't bother me much but I can see how some would have an issue with it) and the room was a little smaller than expected for a king.

Very funky Valley accommodation with a lovely cafe downstairs. They do great coffee and awesome breakfasts. They have a Rooftop bar & DJ (a tad expensive for food and drinks though…) We couldn't even hear it from our room later in the night which was good! Rooms are small but all you need for a quick city stay. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

We have got to say that Tryp has always been our fave place to stay but this time the team have blown us away!
Came down with stomach bug so spent most of the time hibernating in our room. Chris was AMAZING! He even offered to go to the pharmacy if we needed anything.
From the moment we arrived and every day since you guys have been brilliant. Moving us rooms to cater better to us not feeling well. Cannot rate you guys highly enough. Every time your service is second to none.
And Chris… you are a STAR!

Great location close to cafes, pubs/clubs etc. Lovely staff and the building is very cool and rooms are very nicely furnished — swanky touches like blue backlighting accents in the room and original building artwork visible from the window made it feel very premium. Rooms are on the smaller side so best for short stays only. Other than that I enjoyed my 12 day stay, however I'd recommend sorting another place to have your car — there's a $25/day fee, and as it is garage parking of a neighbouring building, a staff member has to let you in and out which got a bit tiresom.

The most amazing happy staff were happy to help and the decor is so funky. King Room With Outdoor Spa was suggested as an upgrade on my booking and I loved it x.

Loved this hotel! The staff were very friendly and super helpful when I needed anything. The rooms were nice and big. Very clean. The whole place had a very funky, unique vibe to it, suited to its location in fortitude valley.

Great, funky hotel. Avoid level 4 if you're worried about sound though as some noise from the roof bar can be heard.

Awesome little hotel with boutique service and a view of some quintessential Brisbane street art by Fintan Magee for some rooms. Great ammenities and decent wine in the mini bar — 5min walk from the Fortitude Valley train station, so perfect if you’re coming in from the airport.

The service was excellent, all the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Every request we had, they did their best fulfill. Our room was recently sized and had pretty much everything we needed. My only criticism is that the bathroom door is just a glass panel that is a. See-through, and b. Doesn't seal out any sound or smell. Now maybe some couples are fine with that, but my partner and I definitely value our toilet privacy and certainly don't want to subject each other to the sounds and smells of the bathroom. I would rethink the bathroom situation, but everything else was lovely.

Got a cute studio room. Very trendy and artsy. It has a great bathroom facilities, entertainment system is good too. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel with awesome street art throughout (we've been told that originally it was an abandoned building site where local street artists practiced, and when hotel owners bought it, the decision was made to leave most of the artwork and add some more). The hotel is located few minutes walk from a train station. Rooms are really nice, smallish, but with everything you need. Exceptionally clean. Rooms have Wi-Fi and you can operate TV on the wall as a screen and search internet. Nice hand written note greeted us on arrival. I particularly liked double windows with blinds in the middle — it stops all the outside noise and also blocks the light 100%, so great for a bit of sleep in :) it also has a gym on the top floor, which we used. It was nice to start a day with a bit of a workout. Check-in is at 2 pm (I think, from memory), so try to get there at about this time — we arrived quite a bit earlier and walked the surrounding area, which is nice anyways as it has lots of boutiques and small trendy cafes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this unique and different hotel!

Great accommodation, great staff, great service, we stayed in a king room with courtyard… thoroughly enjoyed it… bar downstairs is pretty cool with great staff too. Valet parking service was awesome, even left us some water bottles with a thank you note… it's the small thinks that make an enjoyable service.

First time staying here & will definately be back. Booked the king room with the outdoor spa and it was excellent. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and relaxed so it was a great feeling straight off. Great location with walking distance to all pubs, bars & restaurants etc. Auto blinds, double glass doors so you can't hear the noise outside, rain shower — just loved it! Outdoor spa and area was brilliant too, could have definitely stayed longer. One thing though — as soon as we walked into the room it smelt of cigarettes so guessing the precious people had had a few and the room need to be aired out more etc.

Uniquely different and great location! Front of house staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, but you're never in them for long when your staying in the valley… it is so conveniently situated, its more a place for your luggage to stay — cause your always out exploring the valley.

Absolutely loved it! The help they gave my boyfriend to help make it even more special for my 18th birthday was amazing! Absolutely loved the extra touches from 18 being spelt out in chupa chups on my bed to the writing on the mirror was awesome. The spa was fantastic and loved having a TV outside on the balcony so we could watch movies in the spa, only suggestion would be to put in a speaker system because of the glass to protect the TV from the water you can't really hear the TV even at full volume, and with the spa jets on you definitely can't hear anything And the subtitles aren't working. All in all an amazing experience for my 18th birthday, thanks so much!

Staff are great. Second time staying here. Spa suite has nice views. Parking is a bit of a pain, but that's the only down side.

Extremely friendly staff. They also know the history of the hotel which is great as a conversation starter between them and their guests. Everytime I have been here I have never been let down. The rooms are stunnjng and so beautiful… The location is perfect for a weekend getaway, or a night out with the guys or girls.

This little boutique hotel is SO cool and stylish. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was gorgeous with great amenities (especially the coffee maker.

I have really enjoyed my stay. The artwork and design of the rooms are stunning. Service when we arrived was excellent. It is in a great location close to bars and shops. The only minor negatives are a lack of loading area when we were dropped off. Some small maintenance issues in the room. Overall I'm very happy and would stay again.

Location is great. It's near the Fortitude Valley Station on the Airlink line. It's in the Fortitude Valley entertainment district and one station or short bus ride from the CBD. Rooms are a bit small, but functional. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The glass walls around the bathroom is a bit disconcerting. The glass is smoked but privacy could be an issue if you're sharing the room. The restaurant serves great burgers but the menu is limited. I stay here often for work.

The rooms are very modern and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The nightlife of Brisbane is right outside the door and the centre of the city is only a short walk away. Will definitely come back to stay here.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in, in recent times! It perfect for young, hipster loving professionals and it's so damn cheap! Open one in Melbourne please. I beg of you :p.

Staff were so friendly and they went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Food from their restaurant Chur was great, their burgers were the best we had ever had and of course the room service was great also. The hotel amazed us, we had to take pics of the art and graffiti that covers the walls. I believe Tryp is the future of the hotel industry! Can't wait to stay there again. Extremely friendly, sincere staff. Great location — close to restaurants, bars and transport, but not noisy at all. Room was modern and well laid out. The bed was possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever had. The decor was modern, quirky and colourful. Would stay again.
