My partner and I came in for a work Xmas party greeted politely by the lady behind the desk she was lovely the whole time, rooms where kind of small but we'll layed out to maximise the space awesome themed wall paper and the offset planet roof was amazing! would recommend 😁

Loved the themed rooms. Loved that they were all different. Immaculately clean. Absolute value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE, THIS IS A DUMP! Rooms are tiny, owners are rude and useless, not worth visiting. Much better places nearby.

Great place to stay, very welcoming, rooms are all unique. 5 minute walk from the Valley train station. 10 minutes from the RNA showgrounds. Very inexpensive for Brisbane & feels very up market! A real hidden gem in the valley.

I was under the impression that you had to share a bathroom with all the guests, no en-suites. No way I was staying if I didn’t have my own toilet! Everything has been renovated and Yes, you get your own bathroom it’s like a house that rents out rooms. Our bedroom was tiny but very clean, not a stray hair anywhere. Nice bed with nice sheets/doona. Our ceiling was a planet, it looked quite nice actually. The lady at reception was lovely. We only needed the one night but I would definitely stay there again. I was very impressed considering what I thought it was going to be. It may be cheap in price so close to the city but give it a go. You will be pleasantly surprised. 3 out of 4 stars for us.

Love personal at Reception, rooms clean and interesting.

We stayed to attend a concert, very clean comfortable rooms. The beds are always so comfortable best night sleep. Thank you to the lovely friendly staff. This is a must stay trust me you will never stay anywhere else.

Stayed overnight for a work social trip (group of 4) booked 4 rooms all rooms were very clean, comfortable and each had its own theme outstanding value for the price and very quiet no traffic noise. The location is within walking distance to the valley and quite a number of restaurants. The owner/ manager is very pleasant and looked after us very well. Will definitely be back in the future.

Just arrived in my room — absolutely breathtaken by the cleanliness and ambience of the room. Very peaceful environment. Look forward to a good night's rest here. Staff were exceptionally helpful upon booking. Very pleased with the room and hotel service. 10/10.

Booked 8 nights here in the deluxe Paris room. Only halfway through our stay and I have to leave a review. The service is great, the lady at the desk has been super helpful and nice. I’m staying here after having major surgery and the bed is so comfy. The ceilings are really cool, never seen a hotel like this. Overall I highly recommend this hotel. Great prices for great rooms and awesome service. Definitely will be back.

We have stayed here several times every time we have experienced friendly, helpful staff. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows (I'm very fussy) and exceptionally clean rooms. I highly recommend staying here, it's so close to everything. The rooms are beautiful decorated a true credit to the owners. Trust me when you stay here it will be come then only place you will stay when in the city.

Clean neat and comfortable, fantastic art on the walls of the room I stayed in, very friendly staff. Really pleasant surprise considering the price and location.

Very nice reception area, they were playing some nice music on the TV in the waiting area, rooms are exactly what they are selling them as. Great location. I will come back again.

Great place to stay. Reasonable prices and really great and friendly service. The room I stayed in was very neat and the bed was very comfortable. The ceiling had a nice space design with back lighting. They had soundproof windows to block-out the noise from the valley. I would definitely stay again.

We did really enjoy our time staying in this hotel. The staff is really friendly and was always available when we needed it. We can only recommend it!

It far exceeded my expectations for the very low price we paid, and for such a great location. The manager was welcoming and went out of her way to look after us. It’s clear that these owners have been working hard to refurbish the hotel, and their work is really paying off. I understand that some of the rooms are not yet refurbished – but again – they are incredibly cheap for such a great location, and even the older parts of the hotel are very clean, cosy, and charming with their original features. This is a budget hotel – but it’s also charming, clean, individual, in a great location and I would definitely recommend it. We’ll be returning.

A nice little place but you can see it was a old hostel or something. It seems it is always getting something repaired. The bed was fantastic and the room was nice, it was the Paris themed one. You know the age of the building when the floor slopes away from you as you stand in the room. My biggest gripe is there was no hot water for the shower. I get they have a old electric heater out the back and the labels in the shower say wait 2-3 minutes but after 10 minutes you got to be kidding. They should invest in gas hot water units to ensure hot water for the guests.

Amelia is conveniently located in Fortitude Valley. I stayed in the "Paris Room" which had an adequately comfortable king sized bed with clean bedding and its own bathroom. The bathroom was nicely equipped with the exception of the duct tape repairs and manufacturers labels that remained. The biggest irritation for me being sensitive to fragrances was the air freshener placed beside the bed. The themed rooms are a bit gaudy but that adds a bit to the charm of the tiny hotel.

Great place for a quick stay. Even have the basics for a light breakfast limited opportunities for air conditioning.

The staff and hotel owner are amazing. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. Free breakfast. Clean rooms. Reasonably priced. Very gud location. Can it get any better. Highly recommended. Gem of a place.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful room, lovely atmosphere and the owner is so friendly. Light breakfast is an understatement. There was so much to choose from. Had a slight issue with my room key which was rectified immediately. Will stay here again.

Nice place! The rooms are clean and staff very nice. I will recommend this hotel to everyone who wants somewhere to stay in Brisbane. Next time in Australia I will come back here!

Staff were absolutely lovely, the room was comfortable. Bathroom was shared we did not pick this option but nevertheless it was clean and practical. Didn't realise the breakfast was included in the price which was a nice surprise, walked out front and had a coffee and a chat to the lovely lady who I unfortunately have forgotten your name! Sorry!

The staff are very nice and helpful and the included breakfast is good. The rooms are OK but not overly comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our 1 night stay.

Wouldn't stay there again. Rude service. Lost our $100 deposit because we left the key in the room after hours. I understand if it was late the inconvenience but it was 8:30, only just passed reception close time and to lose $100 for leaving the room in the same condition as we arrived and for being respectful guests. Not happy!

Amelia hotel was very comfortable and well priced for its convenient location. The room we stayed in was newly renovated and was very clean and colourful. A nice change from other similar establishments in Brisbane!

Finding a budget inner city hotel that is quiet, comfortable and clean is always tough… but not now this, place is great. Its so good that I was considering not posting a rating to save this gem for myself, but that wouldn't be fair as this place is fantastic and the staff are so friendly.

Lovely place, clean, modern, well kept. I thought a shared bathroom would be annoying — nope. The staff are absolute legends. I was sick and she brought me tea and Glen 20 at my request. I wish them a successful future!
