I just spent 2 nights here with my daughter and granddaughter as a birthday holiday for my daughter. We stayed in a superior single cabin which was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. It’s a nice short walk through the beach access path to a very quiet area of beach and a short drive to town. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay and I’ll definitely be back.

The girls at the reception and the cleaner were awesome, we felt very welcome and had the best time. The beach is a beautiful short walk/bike ride away (the track continues to Suffolk park shops) we camped very close to the beach access (unpowered), would stay a little closer to the amenities next time. We booked well in advance so scored a great rate :-)

New modular suites are spacious and cozy, 5stars.

We have a wonderful stay we had a premium powered site. It was peaceful & beautiful. Staff are great, helpful & friendly. Thank you.

We were here 2019 it was great back again today 19th Aug 2022 had great woodfire pizzas tonight very friendly staff can't complain.

Perfect location and park area. Only gripe is the OLD amenities blocks need to be updated. Otherwise our stay has been very happy.

What a horrible place. For a holiday park this place is the worst place to stay. The staff are just terrible to the guests and residents. Just a dead fully run place.

I’ve enjoyed staying here as I’m on an extended stay in Byron from my home for the winter to study. The park is nice and has a lot of amenities. The office staff are helpful and the maintenance gardening team are friendly and work hard. The new manager is very rude and aggressive though. It’s unpleasant to hear the way she speaks to people in the park in particular paying respectful guests. Not sure she’s the right person for this job.

Such an awesome place to stay. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the ensuite at our camp was immaculate! Totally recommend staying here!

Only reason staying here is because the accept dogs! Otherwise don’t bother. The sites are really muddy, I know we’ve had a lot of rain but put some sand down or something! Very noisey site. Small sites so feel crammed in! The toilets/showers are filthy, mud everywhere. Nothing to hang towel or clothes on except the toilet! Seriously how are you meant to get changed? Disgusting. Makes it very hard work with children. No mop to clean the floors in the shower. I’m so disappointed and pissed off ruining our stay in Byron bay! Please provide mops and hangers for clothes and towels! Not much to ask really!

Great place plenty of cooking facilities and pool is well looked after great setting walk to the beach with our dog. It’s all very good!

Beautiful. But the noisiest park ive ever stayed in! and I have been around Australia staying in parks for 3yrs. Cars coming and going at all hours. Dogs barking. Drunk people carrying on and seen a full on brawl between grown men outside their cabin. Very noisy.

Very helpful staff leading up to our stay, during our stay and upon departure! We will definitely be back. Great location and well priced.

Such a shame this place has gone downhill so much. Has been my favourite place to camp for so long but I don’t think I’ll be back. Amenities are run down and filthy most of the time, yet prices are going up and up. For some reason the park has let a number of backpackers set up permanent campsites. Of those backpackers I came across during my recent stay, the majority were rude, on drugs, drunk and loud well into the night. Management can easily deal with these issues but it seems profits are more important.

Beautiful clean park, friendly staff, our cabin was neat and clean, lots for kiddies to keep them busy.

Lisa and staff were wonderful, looked after us after our original place for camping was washed-out.
The park is quiet and not cramped, the facilities are clean, the showers are hot

Great place to stay. It’s a lovely 10 min work to the beach over a nice bridge and lots of local wildlife. We stayed in a en-suite powered site and it was super clean with great amenities! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great park friendly staff been here 5 times but 1st time since its changed hands a little disappointed with the amenities block don't look like they've been cleaned today but would still come back.

Loved this place. Short bike ride into town. Great beach access to Tallows.

Great beach access and nice clean showers. Only issue is the unpowered sites are a little close together. If it's a busy weekend, expect to open your door and have a few neighbors looking at you. We got unlucky and stuck next to a tent with a baby who sang for us at night. But the price is great for the location and they have rental bikes to get into town. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a good spot near Byron Bay.

Good sanitary units and a reasonable price. Sadly, many of the camping lots are very sandy. The sand is also very dark, so prepare on washing your feet pretty often if you wear flip flops.

Always been a patron of Big 4 and their affiliates when travelling and I must say this place was a pleasure to stay at. While the Watego Cabin we stayed in was a bit small, it was more than comfortable for two and extremely clean. It was also quite affordable too. Would recommend.

Too many door slamming campers too close to our site as well as lighting a fire 2 metres from our van. Door slammers should be in a section of their own. Even caught them using our private ensuite. Camp kitchen was poor. Won't go here again.

I overheard somebody mention that Byron bay holiday park is the biggest one in Byron. It did not feel like this as the cosy and friendly atmosphere made our whole family feel welcomed. Also try the truck made stone oven pizza. Amazing!

Great place to stay. Showers are great and there are charging points for phones and things. So no need to pay for a powered site! Everyone is very trust worthy.

Nice facilities. 10 minute walk to private beach. Nice bike ride into town.

The spot is a little bit far from byron (5 minutes driving), but really cheap like 72 $ for 5 days and we were 2 people and 1 infant. Toilets really clean and really nice, kitchens with all you need. Really nice enviroment for family as well.

We camped on an unpowered site for just over a week. Great place to stay for the price, compared to other camp sites in the area. Lots of kitchen/cooking spaces throughout the park, although the fridges were often over filled. Great amenities, however, part of our stay was over a long weekend and the park was absolutely packed to it's limits — which made for long waits for the toilets and the showers. If you stay during busy periods, expect to wait for the amenities and for there to be a large amount of people, pitched close together, in the park. The cafe next to reception does a great coffee, Tallow beach is beautiful and there's a bus stop right outside the park to take you into the centre or bikes available for hire. We walked in most days, which took about 30mins.

The location was perfect and only a short drive or bike ride to town.
The holiday park has great camping facilities and the cabins were fantastic. We like to travel with our dogs so the pet friendly cabin options were very accommodating all for a very reasonable cleaning fee on top of the cabin hire.
The beach was beautiful! And the walk to get there was equally as pleasant.
The cafe at the parks entrance was really convenient. The coffee was great complimented by friendly staff.
We look forward to our next visit.

Perfect location to enjoy the beautiful tallow beach with friends and family. Efficient services and well equipped bungalow.

Over priced and dirty! The toilets and showers facilities are absolutely disgusting and unusable, mold and everything else (if you know what I mean) everywhere, we ended useing the showers outside a family of four (two kids two adults). We are not fussy worst amenities we have seen in Australia and we are Aussies from WA. I did let the front desk know as we were not the only campers that felt this way.

Pretty basic for a big 4, 850m from the beach. Easy 5min drive to town. Looks like it is in the process of getting some upgrades which wpuld be a plus. Cafe on site is handy.

Nice facilities and friendly stuff. Good location with short walk to the beach. But noisy as hell — first row of camping sites (which we had) is literally meters from the road that is busy during the night. And very busy in the morning. So opt for spots as far from road as possible. Bring good earplugs. Or find something better if you want to sleep well.

There are a few negative comments for Byron Bay Park however it now has new owners and refurbishment and updates are under way. Currently it’s not bad and worth a visit, very friendly staff and well laid out.
My only gripe is its a bit of a hike to the beach especially if you’re carrying stuff but a fabulous beach.

Had a great Christmas holiday with our friends and friendly campers. Fun at the beach. Staff very approachable but were very disappointed in there response to very dirty un hygienic bathrooms and toilets. I under stand the toilet block for sight 111 are being done up soon. But mold, hair, cotton buds and rubbish that stayed in the toilets for the 8 days we were there. When I brought this to the attention of a male staff member he seemed greatfull for my feed back and reasured me he would get on to it. Also over the days heard many people complain but nothing was done. We took to showering in the cold outside showers and using the porta Loos as they were cleaner. We came away with a sick daughter who now has a vomiting bug that I'm sure the hygiene of the facility's could of caused. Pool was very cloudy. Coming from new Zealand we were very disappointed. This was the most expensive yet most unhygenic park we have ever stayed in. Thankfully further down the road at Iluka riverside park we had a better Australian camping experience. Sorry will not be recommending Byron holiday park.
