Such a nice place to stay. It’s literally within rainforest surroundings and a beach at the back. Pool in the middle of the wooden cabins. And lovely hospitality. Love staying there.

We had a great weekend super chill environment dog friendly which was a huge plus. The owner Phil was super friendly and helpful. Super close to town. Will visit again.

Beautiful n peaceful love the sound of the birds, pool was lovely and we had our dog inside cabin was just so cozy bed was very comfortable.

enjoyed ourselves. Quiet, peaceful, in Rainforest setting listening to the
Ocean and the whip birds PHIL, our host is very friendly and helpful. We were able to bring our dog too. I would highly recommend! We will be back ❤️

Loved staying here amongst the trees, so peaceful and quiet with the beautiful sound of the birds. Cabin was great and had the most comfortable bed ever, can’t wait to stay here again.

Each cabin has beautiful rainforest surrounding it. A nice warm pool to swim in. The interior of the cabins are a little old but have charm. Staff are so warm and friendly.

A wonderfully restorative and invigorating atmosphere, with warm & friendly staff. The site manager Philip was especially helpful in providing suggestions for my daughter's and my itinerary. Perfect rainforest-meets-beach ambiance, and a sense of sanctuary away from the hustle & bustle of city life.

Layed back peaceful accommodation in forest setting. Good shared central facilities for swimming, 8 ball pool and table tennis with wood fire for winter.

I just loved this place, by far my favourite on our travels from Victoria. Philip our host delivered excellent customer service, nothing being to much trouble, a very caring person who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. It's all the little thoughtful touches that mean a lot, the lovely selection of teas, the organic body washes and lots of other surprises. Come see for yourself. I highly recommend this place for a stay, my only regret was that it was a spur of the moment stay and being on a time schedule we couldn't stay longer to really take advantage of the pool, grounds, hospitality and surrounding areas. I will definitely be booking for at least a week on my next holiday.

I just spent two weeks traveling Victoria to QLD and this was my favourite place out of all the ones I stayed in. The cabins were spacious, comfortable and clean. The gardens were gorgeous with large trees and shade loving understory, it had a very rainforest retreat feeling. If your lucky enough you can see wild turkeys walking around, the place is dog friendly which was perfect as I was traveling with my doggos.
Beach within walking distance, town a short drive away.
Phill…ip was amazing his customer service was above and beyond what I have experienced on my travels. He made sure our every need was covered, gave great recommendations of things to do in town, and was just a genuinely friendly guy.
Unfortunately we were just passing through on our way home from travelling, so were only able to stay the one night. Next time I'm in Byron area I know where I will be staying Highly reccomend!

My son and his groomsmen stayed here recently before his wedding. The staff were so incredibly friendly, warm and helpful. I’d like to especially thank Philip, who, when I called to tell him I had left my jacket there, promptly drove to our wedding venue and hand delivered it to me five minutes before the bride walked down the aisle. What exceptional service, and what an absolute gentleman! Rare these days. Thank you again Philip. You made my day!

The owner Phillip is such a genuine person and I had the most beautiful stay and was exactly what I needed to recharge thank you I will back again soon the peace and tranquility was beautiful cabins over looking the rainforest really makes this place one to visit and the Alkaline pool at 28* all night was lovely.

We had such a lovely time at rainforest resort. The cabin was clean and spacious and the staff very helpful. Close enough to Byron but far enough to enjoy the peace of the forest. The beach is within walking distance through enjoyable walking paths filled with birds and wildlife. We even heard a kookaburra! Philip was great helping us navigate our way around the area, recommending a great pizza place. I recommend this place to anyone who loves the forest and relaxed environment! Next time we will bring the dogs!

For the money a great place but needs a little bit of tender loving care.

Gorgeous setting. Cute, simple cabins. Close to Byron. We've stayed twice now as we really like it. The second time we stayed our cabin had air-con and a king size bed. So awesome that pets are welcome. Lovely staff. Will definitely be back :)

By far one of the most magical experiences yet! I've stayed at some of the so called 'best' and they have nothing on this place! Entering it felt like we'd stepped into our own exotic island paradise Massage, pool, private hideaway, enchanting walks and hidden beaches with fantastic views! Life's luxurious bounty at your fingertips. This place is a dream come true! Next visit coming up shortly… can't wait!

A fantastic place to stay. It was great to be able to bring our two dogs to stay with us on our relaxing holiday. Friendly staff, a great pool, and only a short wall to the beach. It was great to be able to cook within the cabin, or utilise the bqq or gas cooktop within the communal area. Great facilities and a very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely stay here time and time again.

Rainforest resorts has a very beautiful landscape, beach access, well maintained, great customer service and really put a smile on my face a well deserved rest very peaceful.

Accidentally found this very delightful, peaceful and pet friendly cabin, and decided to stay another day. Staff are very helpful and friendly. No complaints from us. We will be back at Xmas if any availability.

Great place to stay if you want to take your dog very friendly staff in a really nice environment make it perfect for a relaxing holiday would stay there again anytime.

We stayed here a week with our fur baby and enjoyed it. It was comfortable, while it could do with updating in the cabins it was great to wake up to the sounds of birds and not cars. The pool was great we enjoyed spending time in there!

I was happy to come back to the rainforest resort for some quite time after Byron bay village that can be bit crowded. It is so relaxing to sleep in nature and wake up with the birds, read, your book quietly, this rainforest resort is a hidden secret. The 9 Cabins are well spaced out and having a kitchen facilities and fridge is great, I bought beautiful fruits along the roads direct from farmers. At night between crisp white sheets I could listen to the sound of the sea and the breeze in the trees, nice! In the morning I had a nice plunger coffee, (provided in the cabin) and from my veranda could observe bush turkeys, water dragons and lizards. I did not use the pool but it is well maintained. Walking to Tallow beach was only 10 minutes on a lovely trail. This beach is a great place for dogs and The Rainforest lodge is dog friendly also. It is directly opposite the Links golf course. From the airport a shuttle bus drops you straight in front of the entrance.

Having been a bit wary after reading other reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, however the second we turned into the drive I was in love. The rainforest setting is idyllic, the cabins are nicely spaced and roomy, our bed was extremely comfy with lovely crisp white linen. There are bush turkeys roaming around and we saw several lizards as well as wallaby's. The new owner Phillip, while having only taken over 7 weeks ago has already made huge improvements and he is the perfect host, nothing was ever too much trouble or a problem The place is very pet friendly and our little Cavalier had the time of his life. The beautiful Tallow beach is a 10 minute walk away. We loved every day that we were there (8 days) and this will certainly not be our last visit. Can't wait to get back.

Should have been prepared for a cabin or camping atmosphere. Pool was not clean. 70s style furnishings such as kitchen, curtains, bathroom. Majority of flooring was clean but there were dirty wall corners. Wish we had a better outdoor mat to clean our shoes/feet — otherwise you drag the entirety of byron bay in your sleeping quarters. Reception clerk was nice but you can only get Wi-Fi near the reception desk. Unfortunately couldn't wait to leave.

We have stayed for the last few days, chalet 2 the place has been perfect for our purposes, fur baby friendly and the staff, Murray and Assistant Manager Chinta were absolutely delightful. We cannot recommend their Beautiful property highly enough. It's a true hidden slightly unpolished gem. We'll be back.

Best place we have stayed at in Byron Ever. And very reasonably priced too. Dog friendly, great friendly staff, great cabins, good pool and spa. Cabins can accomodate 1 x couple plus a child in each side of the cabin and I recon if you asked they would pop in a cot or two as well. Can easily walk to the beach along the track and over the lake which is also dog friendly. Also just up the road from town, cant get any better than that. Thanks for everything we will definately be back in the future.

I stayed at the resort for 3 weeks with my wife and twins, awesome place, a true hidden gem, peaceful, comfortable and relaxing, would recommend to anyone who plans on spending time in the Byron area, We are aiming to come back again for Easter.

Poor Service, Rude staff.

We´re a a couple with 3 puppies and we absolutely loved it. It was great for the dogs, they were allowed inside and outside and the resort was just beautiful. Everything was nice and clean. Nice shower and the jacuzzi was very relaxing. Besides the washing machine and dryer inclusive washing powder were for free. Thumbs up. We´d love to stay there again.
