Staff were helpful and friendly. If you’re not a family or camping fiend, then there isn’t much on offer. Cabin 12. Mouldy peeling bathroom walls, huge white tailed spider in the shower. Outdated facilities, entry key didn’t work properly. Bad television & nearly zero internet reception. Needs maintenance. Del Rio should allow single night stays. We went for a friend's party and had to pay for the whole weekend, sight unseen. Del Rio needs to warn those leaving to get the Sunday morning ferry with the rest of the Caravan Park exodus. It added 2 HOURS onto our already long journey and could have been avoided with some considerate advice from the park staff.

My son in law was down there this weekend. Had a great time. He said some of the patrons were so rude to the concierge. Stop and think what these people have been through over the last three years. People be kind.

We love our time at Del Rio and have been back a few times the staff are always so lovely and down for a good laugh. Will be coming back for years to come.

The most lovely team I would happily work alongside these girls in the office!

A relaxing holiday with enough activties to do for the kids. Beautiful scenery and the staff were all helpful. In particular, Georgia went above and beyond for all requests!

Fans didnt work and I paid for 3 bedrooms but got 2, the rooms were clean and so was the grounds. Shame the aircon had to work so hard but couldnt keep the unit cool.

We had a damp stay but the kids were kept amused mainly with the jumping pillow.
The Covid management plan was a bit uninspiring but everywhere was clean and staff were smiley and helpful.

Had a fantastic 4 night break at Del Rio and really enjoyed the friendly, relaxing vibe. The location is stunning, so many things for the kids to do, and lots of shade!

Family friendly. Cafe and bistro both have great food. Kids really enjoyed the activities. Was lovely to have a small fire close to camp not many parks allow it. Great 3 nights away highly recommended. no phone service unless your with telstra and the internet available to buy for $8 a day doesnt work in all areas of the park.

My favourite resort, so much to do. Well looked after grounds. And staff are super welcoming and friendly. Stayed about 5 time here and will continue to visit this awesome place.

Fab dad and daughter stay. Fun ferry ride over and lots to do in the resort. Loved the bike rides and seeing the kangaroos. Mini golf — tennis — bistro and cafe onsite. Fab staff and management who go out of their way to make sure you have a good time. Also like the fire stoves that were free for an evening fire on your site! We also had a drive to the settlers arms at St. Albans about 20km away — Gt local authentic pub to visit.

Had a great time there, Georgia at Reception was a lovely young lady, very helpful and kind. Kids loved the go carts and mini golf, plus the freedom to wander around in a safe environment. Cabin was good, clean and had everything we needed.

Great place, well looked after and lots of options for the kids.

Check in was smooth and easy, staff have easy to understand instructions and were lovely.

Del Rio is a great place to stay with the kids. SO much for them to do! Plenty of options for adults as well. Picturesque location. Loved our little getaway.

Thought when we booked was a bit pricey. But after staying in this beautiful location would definitely go back. So tranquil. Heaps for kids to do. Just check bed sizes if your doing budget cabin. As bunks are teeny tiny, my teenagers wouldn't have fitted. Upgrade to the riverside villas they are beautiful or the houses are amazing.

Great accommodation at great prices. So many facilities for children and a safe environment for them to enjoy them all. We will definitely come again!

We’ve been coming to Del Rio Resort for the past 7 years, on the same weekend for a cousins reunion. Fantastic location, great amenities, especially for the kiddies. We stay in the Waterview Cabins. They are great, clean & comfortable. We will be definitely be coming back to Del Rio for many many years to come.

Amazing place to sit back and relax. Away from the hustle of the city by the river. Awesome facility. Best part no mobile network so you are always with nature.

Lots of activities to keep the kids entertained. My only gripe is the men's toilets & showers are in desperate need of a renovation. Every soap holder broken off exposing metal shards in each shower stall. Watch your back! Management… Remove the grub screw at the bottom of the plate to remove the risk then patch the tile.

Location is fantastic. Wiseman Ferry operates 24 hrs. Our lake view cabin was great, fully equipped. The kids loved the jumping pillows and all the trails to ride bikes and scooters. Tennis courts in great condition. We had a great time.

Very high prices lead you to think this place will have it all and in many ways it does, but don't blow all your budget on the tarrif as you will need plenty of money once you get here. They don't even supply basic tea/coffee/sugar in their cabins. The well appointed amenities are centred in one area, making it quite a trek for campers to get to bathrooms and camp kitchen. That said, Del Rio is in a beautiful location right on the banks of the Hawkesbury River, there is plenty of activities to suit all age groups and it relly lends itself to large group gatherings.

First visit, and only a brief stay to test out the new camper trailer but this place is nice and plenty of things to do, will be back for sure.

Great place to go, easy and pleanty of room. Bar, play ground, mimi golf, great all sorts of cammping.

Everything to need for a fun family holiday. Cafe, restaurant, tennis, pool, golf — mini & full. Camping amenities could be cleaned more regularly, that is toilets & showers. Note that the Camp kitchen is not an indoor facility, but still well equipped.

Great venue, I was genuinely blown away by the facilities and quality of accommodation this resort is offering. Will recommend to friends and will be back.

It's nice family resort with all fun activities like biking fishing pool mini golf tennis basket ball and so on. Nice to spend days in their affordable cabins with surroundings beautiful nature.

Just a spent a great long weekend with a large group. The park was very accommodating to find a camping location where we could all fit together and still enjoy ourselves.
Only issue is that there is not enough ammenities close to the soccer field where we camped.
There was confusion when we paid at the office and the error made by office staff wasn’t handled well.
We have stayed at the park 7 times in the past 8 yrs and we will be back. Great spot for families or groups. All accomodation is amazing! So much for everyone to do. Love being able to have a camp fire.

Family oriented caravan park. Friendly and helpful staff with clean amenities. Most importantly the kids will have fun riding around on their bikes, playing in the play ground and jumping pillows along with the water park and pool. The on-site Cafe provides food and drinks throughout the day and there is an onsite club with bistro. Great weekend retreat a stones through from Sydney.

We had a girls weekend away and booked the Serenity House.
Amazing views of the river and mountains.
House has everything and very clean.
So peaceful as well as you are away from everything.
We all walked to the club for dinner, which was great.
Staff are amazing and so very helpful.
We normally camp and have been going to Del Rio with our children for over 10 years and we will continue to do so.
Something for everyone to do here. Weather it be fishing, swimming, the water park, peddle cars or just relaxing. It is a great place to be.
We Cannot wait to go back.

Like other reviewers, we found this place clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. It's located in a beautiful valley surrounded by bush and wildlife, lots of fun activities for the kids. We camped with friends in January and while it was sweltering hot the pool and water park were a very welcome relief. We then weathered a downpour or two, but it was still well worth the visit. We'll be back I'm sure. Only thing that was a bit disappointing was that we could only get one car per site in. With a big family we brought two cars and one had to stay outside.

Pool is great, utilities are kept nice, grounds are well maintained. Boat ramp and jetty available. Putt putt golf was covered in leaves and river bed is thick mud at low tide, but otherwise a nice place. Stayed at the unpowered camp site.

I am a regular user of this beautiful tranquil resort. I keep coming back because it's very relaxing and offers so much to do at the same time. The staff are chilled and super helpful. Looking forward to my next Del Rio stay.

Nice place for a holiday away from Sydney. Has a variety of activities to do like pool, tennis, putt putt golf, fishing kids play ground and water fun area, etc etc. No mobile reception except Tel$tra. Could do with a bit of a refreshing in places.

The park staff are great and lots to do for the kids justa shame the bistro lets them down. Maybe they shouldn't lease it out and have better control so it doesn't disappoint.

Going downhill fast. Rooms were dirty and ill-maintained. Staff were unfriendly.

3 bedroom villas are spacious and the best. But we miss the bingo that they had here last year. So sad to hear they stopped it.

Just spent 4 nights here with the family and friends. Stayed in the Parkview Cabins. Found them to be very comfortable. Air conditioner was an absolute godsend in that terrible heat we had over the weekend. Staff were friendly. Pool and water park was good (maybe a tad too much chlorine in the pool… my son had a terrible reaction) but I understand based on how many people were in the pool. Bistro was great and the activities there were fun. Especially enjoyed the live music and the Kareoke… the kids had a ball. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Nice access to river, decent utilities, poor access to internet services.

Start of the holiday peak season and it was Absolutely disgusting accomodation was filthy, out dated and in desperate need of repairs (some half arse attempts had started along time ago) and updating/improvements we stayed in the equestrian lodge and was absolutely crawling with bugs and thousands of baby spiders! The pool was dirty had heaps of stained areas (My daughter is on antibiotics due to an ear infection now from water in the ear) and the game hub consisted of a ping pong table with no bats or balls in a sweltering hot smelling room, the sand on and around the jumping pillow stained and ruined the kids clothing! The pedal carts were in desperate need of repairs/maintenance as the brake didn't work properly on my sister in laws cart going down a hill and pulled her foot down and under the cart ripping the skin back on her toes which ended up black and bleeding! And the cafe and bistro area is an absolutely disgusting joke of a mess and the guy in the cafe/kiosk smoking right beside it was disgusting we won't ever be going back.

Beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Lots of play options for both adults and children (tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, mini golf, splash, pool, jumping pillows etc…). Clean amenities & modern cabins, lots of grassy areas. Highly recommended!

Del Rio is a clean well maintained family friendly environment with activities to suit all age groups. Only drawback is there is no TV.

Have stayed here twice. Once at tent site. Next at cabin. Great facilities. Family friendly and can't wait to book again.

Spent a weekend here recently with 4 other families on the waters edge cabins. Perfect facilities and plenty to do.

Nice place for camping with clean toilet facilities. Very good place for family fun. Could have been better if temporary rest rooms in the soccer ground site are replaced daily.

The manger and staff there are absolutely disgusting. We requested a change of date 4 days out from our holiday due to a death in the family (which is out of our control) Management has not compassion what so ever. They advised that they would not change the date as they could not afford to forfeit their $400 a night and it was outside their policy of 30 days change (Funny thing, we only book just over 2 weeks ago! So how could we possibly ever request a change of date! ) Based on this, this will be the very last time we ever go to DEL Rio which we were frequent guests. Shame on you management.

Went around for a quick stroll around the resort and really liked it. Planning to go there to stay a couple of nights. Not too expensive yet beautiful location and if you are there during the orange picking season then you can drive to Watkins Family Farm.

To be honest I was just happy that it was cheap. When my family and I came there we were very impressed. We got the cheapest cabin but when we visit back in October we will get the modern cabins My daughter was looking for the big campfire marshmallows but couldn't find any. When we got to the resort we found the Rio cafe which had marshmallows which was great There are so many activities for the kids; swimming, mini golf, go kart riding and jumping pillow which all the kids played on 24/7. All the adults were able to fish and make fires at night with amazing barbecues! Overall an amazing time, definitely coming back to this amazing place.

The cottages that we rented was nice… its big enough with 3bedrooms. The kids enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at one of the camp sites. It had a great view of the river. The staff were friendly and there were plenty of activities for the kids. Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised by this caravan and camping spot. Excellently maintained grounds and facilities, friendly staff, and just a nice vibe about the place. We were there in low season (May 2017) for a bike race in St Albans, so it was quiet​. Might be different in the Summer school holidays. We had an early start, so the staff allowed us to leave the camper set up and pick it up in the afternoon, which was much appreciated. Thanks for a great stay, we'll certainly be back.

Fantastic Place that can accommodate large groups of people. We had the 10Bedroom Lodge on the hill away from the centred Camp Sites which allowed our group not to disturb the others with our evening Talking/Laughing. We had a slight hick up with external Entertainment that isn't allowed onsite. But the Customer Service from the Id have to say she's a Supervisor or manager from reception helped us resolve our issue with a memorable weekend experience Thankyou We Will Return.

Staff are very friendly and take great care in the upkeep of the resort grounds, always love coming back here.

While there was a pool there was a lot of rules to follow I didn't enjoy myself for the two nights I stayed definitely not 4 and a half stars got told that there was quite a few things in the room we booked that when we showed up were not the fact you have to "rent" your sheets really wasn't something that'll keep me coming back I just think for the price that was paid it wasn't worth it if I was to come back probably wouldn't stay at delrio.

Been going there for over 5 years now, just love the place really. It's good for families that need a Sydney break but really comes into it's own if you have a boat or watertoy. My wife likes it more now the permanent homes have gone (Bogans) but I used to like them for the distinctly Aussie flavour they added. Can definitely recommend but don't expect 5 star, just clean family fun…

It's got some Easy on the eye views which impressed me when arrived, a nice chilling camping site with a cool swimming pool! Hanged out with Family Friends!, drank beer and enjoyed the day.

We went there for the day and the children loved it. The trampoline and pool are both in great condition and we plan to go back and stay overnight. The only thing that annoyed me was the cafe didn't take eftpos despite the fact that the resort office does. This makes no sense at all.

Went to the resort for a day trip and it was awesome, I’m not sure about the conditions when staying overnight. There are a lot of activities for kids like swimming (Outdoor pool), can hire cycles, play in the sand, putt putt golf and also the really large jumping pillow. There are also basketball, netball and volleyball courts for use. The entrance fee for the day is $5 per person which is quite reasonable and you cannot go to day trips during long weekends and some other times and hence best to call ahead before you go. The view to the mountains is very good and if you have a large group it will be great fun especially on the jumping pillow.

If you ever need a place for stay over night, for an weekend or vacation — Del Rio is an amazing spot with fantastic facilities and great staff.

Very nice place to stay, very quiet.

For $190 (peak season during winter school holidays) the cabins were pretty averarge. Arrived to very wet tiled floors, that had probably been mopped hours earlier, which just got filthy muddy after we got all our stuff in from the car as it was raining at the time. Nice in theory but shabby upon closer inspection. The coffee table was damaged, couch was dirty &, the cutlery and crockery were odd sets. Exhaust fan in bathroom also not working. Small things, but for $190 a night I expected better. Good facilities for kids, beautiful area great for camping i'm sure. Overpriced.

We stayed in the 4.5 star waterview villas. They definitely did not seem to meet that rating. The water for the spa came out a urine colour yellow. We checked out after our first night, we had booked for two nights and even though the room was not up to our expectations and not being able to use the spa we were still denied a refund. Would not recommend.

Del Rio is such a fantastic place to escape the mad rush of the city. Del Rio is smack bang on the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry. Bunny and the gang were so nice and friendly I felt right at home. Tonnes of stuff to do: golf, swimming, tennis and water skiing. Thanks Del Rio for a nice relaxing time. I'll be back soon.
