Condo Hotel

Good location, good size room, clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Wifi was rubbish and the noise from other guests in the halls was very loud. My main complaint is the aircon was not working. I had the reception staff come and check it and she agreed it didn’t appear to be working. Maintenance looked at it next day and say it’s fine. It’s not fine, it’s not working! I had it on 17c with a high fan on cool. We should have been freezing but we were sweating and suffocating as there was no window. Breathing is not optional.

Not a bad place to stay. Rooms are nice and clean and reasonably appointed. If a little small. Work desk is bit cramped but useable. Reception staff were very likeable and most helpful. Construction noise next door was pretty bad but that's not the Quest's fault. Noise in the corridor permeates the rooms pretty easily so a bus load of excited tourists can be a little annoying, but overall we were well pleased with the stay. The little coffee shop at the entrance is really good as well.

It is way overpriced for what you get. They tried to double charge me for using the parking. And forget it if you have a partner to share a bed with. It is just two poor quality singles rolled together. The sheets are of poor quality and the blanket on top was gross. Stay away!

I have been to this hotel maybe 8 times, every time, they request my details, because they are either taking the details wrong or they have taken them down wrong. I spend most of the time on the phone repeating the spelling of both my names and then my email address, which is also both my names. The service staff need to be fluent enough in that countries main language, it is a hotel that is the whole point! Way too frustrating and not worth saving a few dollars especially with the ongoing construction outside. A shame as some of these issues are so basic that they should not exist.

The service was good, and the room was clean and ok. The bed was very comfortable. Nothing fancy about this place but good value.

Front desk was very helpful. The rooms are neat and livable.

Great stay, comfortable and access to everything you need. Westfield just a 2min walk. Happy with the service service.

Exceptionally warm welcome on arrival, turning up at a perfect time to receive a discount. Unfortunately there was construction right next door all day. Wasn't too obtrusive though and the rooms were very nice and clean. Possibly a little overpriced without the discount.

Convenient location. Room was nice and modern and had a full kitchen. There was construction work going on next door which was a bit annoying, avoid if you are not a morning person.

Spotless very modern and center of bondi junction. Could not recommend any higher. Will not stay anywhere else in the eastern suburbs.

Great to stay at Quest Bondi Junction Hotel. It is a 4 star hotel, but we upgrade to 5 star, very nice and helpful staff. We like it special because of the rooms, got small kitchen with good space for two persons, and we like to shop at the nearby Westfield shopping mall, bring some good food and wine back to Quest, prepare it in the small kitchenette, sit on the small balcony to enjoy. Get a little exercise! Rent a bicycle or walk down to Bondi Beach, about one and a half mile. We choose Quest also because of easy parking, fast access to main roads. Also a lot of good dinning options, in walking distance from Quest.

My room was scrupulously clean, with everything we needed, including toiletries, cooking equipment and a very comfy bed. The staff were courteous and helpful, and it was close to the main strip of Bondi Junction. Highly recommend!

Convenient location. Large, modern and well appointed rooms. Everything you need for a short stay.

Great location. Easy access. Appartement Studio with kitchen and plenty of space. Keep your luggage for free at the reception if early arrival or departures after check out. Good value compared to Sydney other expensive locations.

Room was well equipped with a full kitchenette and bathroom. Good location only a minutes walk from Bondi Junction Westfield. Reception and Housekeeping staff were polite and helpful. Only negatives were construction sounds from building demolition next door (can't be helped) and mattress was very firm. Would stay again (after checking demolition is done)

Clean hotel, friendly staff, room was always neat and tidy when I came back from shopping. Only pitfall would be the front counter, was standing there for 10 mins whilst the receptionist was chatting to another colleague about their weekend.

Great location and sensibly appointed studio apartment with kitchen and secure car parking. This is a definite return venue as it is a great money for value.

Spent 4 weeks here for work. Only Good for a short stay, small studios and beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly, busy location. Tourists can be very loud at times. Need to get the alarm system checked as we had 3 false fire alarms in one week, asked repeatedly about fixing dryers in communal laundry only 2 out of 4 working, laundry room wreaks and your clothes will be removed by other guests desperate to get a spot.

I have stayed in many a pleasant quest hotel throughout Australia, this one is a must AVOID, the entire hotel smells like an ashtray, every level has a smoking balcony at the elevator area, the hotel design is such that all/any air draft on all level will send the smokers smoke to all rooms. You would think that's a minor issue, but this hotel is booming with Chinese tourist who chain smoke. Curtains, furniture, walls etc all smell of cigarette smoke… not pleasant, avoid.

Comfortable and large rooms.

I wasnt very happy at all by my experience at Quest Bondi Junction. I travel for work and it was my first time staying here. The day before I was due to check in I received a phonecall saying that I was late sending back the form allowing for payment with my boss's credit card and I was going to be charged extra because I had not done so. I had. It was in their junk folder. Then when I turned up the 'lobby' was leaking from the storm passing. I get thats something that needed to be fixed but I almost slipped on the wet floor and there was no wet floor sign plus I had meetings for the rest of the day and was now getting dripped on. Then, I go into my room and no joke it smelt like fish. FISH! I wasnt able to leave the room the next day because of the bad storm (no their problem) but I had no food and the hotel doesnt offer room service. Then, for three days I had no hot water. Three days no hot water. I was cold and all I wanted was a hot shower. The night before I checked out the smoke alarm went off at 11pm for what they said was a "false alarm" and sent all of the guests back up to our room. All in our pjs and tired from being woken up. The same happened again the next morning at 6:30am. The only positive thing I can say is that the house keeping lady on my floor was lovely and my room was spotless. Im certain I will not be back again. No sleep, cold, and hungry. Might have been a bargain but something like hot water should be included.
