Couldn't be more conveniently located to Central. Spotlessly clean and extremely functional; lightening speed internet; modern decor; comfortable beds although the lobby was very shabby and water pressure low and aircond a bit dodg.

Just need a constant room service. Coffee toilet paper milk sugar needs to be refilled everyday. When you're on holiday no more time to go to reception to ask for these stuff. Other than that everything is all good.

I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with my fiancé and son it was very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable bedding. Staff were friendly, excellent location in the CBD free parking and excellent rate. I would highly recommend this place.

Darling Harbour is the favorite area of Sydney and the one I would like to live in. It teems with commercial and leisure activities, such as shops, restaurants, bars and places to spend the evening, there are numerous recreational facilities such as the Congress Centre, the theatre, the Aquarium and the Sea Museum. Some of the accommodation facilities are particularly attractive and welcoming, such as the Hyatt Regency Hotel or the Sofitel. You can not leave Sydney without having visited it, during the weekends it is particularly lively and full of charm. Wonderful the night view.

Nice place a pretty amazing view of this harbor just under the big towers. This mixture of old and modern is really a beautiful realization.

Went the over through the weekend for vivid lighting. It's it's so beautiful. Very family orientated and the only place in Sydney whereby the kids have freedom to run and play. There is a big park over there but the only negative Is there is only only 4 swings in total. Beautiful atmosphere and child friendly.

Absolute delicious! Great view of Darling Harbour. The service was great. We got a fabulous table where we could see the Vivid light. Taking into account we didn't book, they were very accommodating.

Sydney is a fantastic city built around a magnificent bay. The ferries are a means of public transport that is fundamental to the life of the city and they are very well organized. Along with Circular Quay, this is one of the central points of this unique public transport network. Also its surroundings are full of life, there are plenty of restaurants and entertainment venues. Many organized excursions are also on the way from its piers. Don't forget to buy your Opal Card so you can enjoy the ferries.

We just spent a night at Liv Apartments Darling Harbour. Awesome location and what you see online is exactly what we got. A lovely 3 bedroom apartment at a great price. The staff were friendly and accommodating I would highly recommend it to anyone.

With the new ICC, this place looks amazing. Nice, vibrant feel at nighttime, but also relaxing — with kids and adults alike running around on the water features. Cute beach chairs are built in to the sides as well. Great atmosphere.

Between Darling Harbour and Darling Quarter there is a fun water feature for kids to play. Plenty of places for parents to sit a relax with take away food outlets nearby. The playground is so interesting for kids and the water feature is entertaining and educational. If you have kids needing some fun entertainment this is the place to head for. Visited in the evenings with music on the waterfront. Moderately priced restaurants. Kangaroo meat to try. Many hotels in the Accor chain overlook the harbour.

An obligatory stop for those who visit Sidney. A disproportionate number of places to eat. Very impressive in the evenings.

This is loaded with fun, you can eat, drink, ferry ride, visit sea life aquarium. It's a lively place always full with tourist. There is so much to do for every age group so go with ample time to enjoy. One can go for camping to Cockatoo island for camping or just take a ferry ride to Circular Quay and enjoy passing under the Sydney Harbour bridge and famous Opera house.

Spectacular leisure and restaurant area very close to the center and the financial area of Sydney. Plenty of options to eat and also are located in this area the aquarium, the Wax Museum and Wood Life, where you can see the famous Kangaroos and Australian koalas.

Very nice and very lively place to walk with different museums including the Australian National Maritime Museum, Aquarium. Lots of restaurants etc. See if you're visiting Sydney.

A busy part of the city perfect for tourists and young families. Restaurants and shops located around here are quite pricey. So be prepared. Facilities are plentiful and clean. The area is quite safe although at night time after 9pm the area can get a little rough with the young heroes on the prowl.

I celebrated my birthday with my friends at a Belgium Cafe here. I really like the customer service there and they even gave us complimentary drinks. This is a nice place for families and a great place to celebrate a birthday. Darling Harbour is well designed and very easy to get back to the city. Light rail trams run on a regular basis.

Darling Harbour is a very nice place to hang out and enjoy some good time. You can choose from eating or drink to an amazing Ferris wheel ride, always enjoying the beautiful views of the harbour and the nice restaurants in the area. A great kids playground completes the place leaving adults with a bit more time to relax.

Beautiful views, lots of fun activities for kids, big water play Park and playground. Take away food, restaurants suitable for all ages, close to transport (light rail) fairy car park. Lots of things to do and places of interest to visit. Wheelchair ♿ accessible.

Is too artificial, Sofitel Hotel quite nice and many providers for food and drink — very touristy.

A really nice place, there is the port which is very busy, a very big square and it is also a garden with trees, tables and deckchairs for a picnic, near there is also the Chinese garden, there are many shops and entertainment venues, like the Hard Rock Cafe.
You can spend a couple of hours of relaxation and even fun.
Now that the construction works of the neighborhood and landscaping are over, the neighborhood is even nicer.
They do at certain times of the year, the open air cinema and many festivals of the various countries of origin of the inhabitants.

Of course one of the points you should see here in Sydney. Still not so old and with a great view of the skyline. It is also interesting to see the railway that crossed the bridge and has now been built back. The last station is now a kind of memorial and sightseeing object.

Nice spot, lots of public space to enjoy. Everything close to it costs an arm and a leg but they are probably paying an absurd amount in shop leasing so I guess it's fine. There is better food and bars around the Universities for a much lower cost though so if you don't have to eat or drink here, don't eat or drink here.

The ideal location to go out and have fun in the evening and weekend. Tone restaurants and bars on the promenade, some with live music. Very lively.

One of my favorite places in Sydney… and definitely one of the nicest! When I am in Sydney I try to always take a hotel close by. Ideal for walking, there are excellent restaurants where to eat, shopping malls… and all the more. If you visit this wonderful city, you can't not go to Darling Harbour.

Restaurants, bars, shops, transportation in the hay and even maritime =) is clean and well frequented! The top.

Children's paradise. The Playground here is very large, and there are many activities: in addition to ordinary swings, slides, climbing the net, there are Flying Fox, play sand area, play water zone. One of the playing water area should be very distinctive, there are pressurized water machine, aqueduct, floodgates …
Every child can find their favorite. There are McDonald's and cafes around, and adults and children have places to rest and replenish their energy. Even if you stay here for a day, there should be no pressure.

Beautiful place. Walking though the bridge so look up and down wonderful view. They have lots of restaurant. Food Court inside the mall at the Darling Harbour.

Quite a nice family orientated area for the family. Plenty of restaurants to cater for varying budgets. Great play ground and rides for the children. Sea life, Wild life and Madam Tussauds are all by the main footbridge.

Another place or stroll! It's very clean (like the whole city) and Super welcoming! We can stay there all afternoon.

Currently getting a makeover from its original 1980s design. Some good, some bad. The original convention and exhibition centres were iconic 80's designs and should have been kept. Harbourside Centre needs an update, but has plenty of good restaurants to pick from.

The transformation made in recent years made it so expansive. Lovely facilities and restaurants. Great place to take kids. It can get really busy on the weekend and holidays.

The weather was beautiful. There are so many restaurants along the pier and so many crusies to admire. The design along the pier was beautiful and night was lit up by street lights. The play ground close by has a well designed water playground that can be enjoyed by both young children and teenagers. There is also a huge slide along with a small sand pit. There are also two types of swings, one for children and one for adults.

Very unhappy customer! No air con, only 2 pedestal fans and cockroaches! A shared bathroom with 2 sinks and one was out of order. You had to hold the shower head with one hand as you showered as it wouldn't tighten to stay upright. Had to walk to next street to catch a taxi from another hotel as staff would not call one. Would not recommend and would never stay there again! The 3.5 star rating must be from friends and family reviews!

Nice looking clean area and well worth a visit. My only complaint would be a lack of toilet facilities. I would still highly recommend people take a walk around and then catch the ferry from Darling Harbour to Circular Quay which takes you directly underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and past the Sydney Opera House.

Many things q-see, shops and others. It is very expensive and snooty. I prefer circular quay and the surrounding area. This close to the bareio chinese.

This place is just awesome if you like a night walk in the city. The lights was gorgeous! Plus we had the opportunity to watch fireworks at 9pm! That's for Christmas event :) will go again for sure!

Darling harbour is just so bloody picturesque! In good weather, the city of Sydney reflects perfectly atop the harbours glass surface. There are many attractions and restaurants here but they're all catered for tourists — expensive and not very good. Take a short walk into the back streets of China town to find much better options to eat.

Fantastic place to be on a Saturday night. Fireworks, restaurants, bars/night clubs, disco's, coffee shops, million dollar view, fountains, atmosphere is exciting and wonderful. Easy to get to. Great place to take the family any time. IMAX RE opens in 2019, bigger, better and more spectacular. Love it. Also within walking distance of city and train station.

The port of Sydney is the most spectacular of the city and is full of places of leisure and recreation. As is often the case in Australia, the atmosphere is always friendly and quiet.

Beautiful place to spend a good time.

The port has something to offer for everyone, from the IMAX theater, the Maritime Museum, to the Hard Rock Café in the shopping centre. In addition, it comes with a beautiful Skyline.

Staff is very friendly. Review is low because shower lacks a shelf. Floor mat is not provided for us to dry our feet when we exit the toilet. Room is generally dusty. Sound proofing is poor as music from bar downstairs is audible though soft, and accidental knocks, squeaky floor planks and foot step sound from other units are audible. Frequent road noise from passing cars.

The hotel room was fine. However, the hotel staff were very noisy in the morning while we were trying to sleep. We were also charged $20 for late check in even though I was told $10 via e-mail.

Location was good but that's where it ended. Most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on and the room was quite run down.

Darling harbor is really spectacular during vivid light festival. It's got heaps of restaurants, bars and cafe. Also houses the imax theatre. Further down darling harbor you'll also find the aquarium, Australian animal enclosure and the maritime museum. Love this place completely.

Quite enjoyable place and lot options to dine. The worlds biggest IMAX screen is a good attraction. Also take the ferry from Darling harbour to Circular Quay to ride underneath the Harbour bridge.

The second most beautiful place of sydney city after the circular quay. A lot of events happend during the year. And go on the bridges for a better view.

Spoilt for choice with eating venues and it has a great playground for kids. IMax theatre is the best 3D experience you will have in Oz.

Free fireworks every Saturday night, lots of eating and shopping opportunities and the location of the Aquarium etc. It's a really nice location to do a variety of activities. The only downside is that you'll be wedged in with lots of other people which can make it a little claustrophobic at times.

Very old run down, smelly rooms. Backpackers would have been heaps better. The revues must be from hotel friends.

Great to walk around, good range of restaurants, the Imax cinema, seaworld and the remains of the monorail to wander around. Lots of seating to just relax and watch the world go by.

This is a fun place to visit. There is always something going on and the kids park is excellent. The water play can Kerri them amused by itself. There are plenty of food options and places to go from here.

A must see tourist attraction in Sydney. Walk across from end to end and take in the different views. Enjoy the expensive sea food, try the overrated hot chocolates at Lindt, watch the street artists. If you are here on a Saturday, stay to watch the fireworks which are on most weeks at 8.30 pm.

Great place for a leisure weekend or weekday nights with either friends or family. Here gathering many nice restaurants, cafe. There are also shopping centre, IMAX cinema and night club. Fireworks every Saturday night is worth to watch.

Interesting place. Its the start from much tours like whale watching or speed tours. The highlight is in the evening on saturday. Here is a big firework with music and light… (betwenn 5-10minutes) On of the best fireworks I ever saw^^

Leisure in the small harbour, numerous cafes and bar, The Mall is nothing around it.

It's a fantastic place with lot of cafés and many attractions. You can spend a real leisure time on the banks. You also have good place to shop.

Nice place but very touristic. Pruce and service are not so great. Saturday night fireworks are great if you visit sydney.

The food is typically abysmal and overpriced in Darling Harbour, staff are often unfriendly, and restaurant decors shabby at best. Typical tourist trap. Come here for a stroll along the water and views of the city skyline, then quickly move on to Haymarket, Ultimo or Glebe for food or drinks (or anything else really)

This is perhaps Sydney's most popular hang out place. Very few cities have such a vibrant water front promenade lined with restaurants, cinema, park, children's fun facilities. Right in the city.

Great place to explore, to eat, to play and have fun. It has everything here from Hardrock Cafe to a night club and the Worlds biggest IMAX Cinema!

Great place for kids to play. Fireworks were equal to Melbournes family NYE display. Every Saturday at sunset. Rangers on the night were on a bit of a power trip about telling people where to sit on the warf. Not sure 5cm further back is going to make a world of difference.

My fave hang out in sydney! It's git everything for families and young couples and singles. Some of the best restaurants and cafes in sydney with a great view. I have a 2 yr old son who loves to play at the play area here. Fireworks on saturdays and special events held all the time! Must go if you are visiting sydney.

A local friend recommended the store to two that location is still relatively easy to find, a tour over the Sydney Opera House, walk to the Rocks area, not too far, also can see along the way scenery.

Love the Prime rib and pancake, this steak is really rare in Lebanon, and dipped into the sauce is delicious, first mistake, second time a friend brought when we ordered this, really can for another, I eat it!

I went there with my wife on my first night in Sydney. Weather was brilliant so we could actually walk around in shorts. We had dinner in one of the restaurants' terrace and enjoyed the meal seeing other people walk by. It's a very relaxing area.

Great location: only a short stroll from shopping mall, cafes, convenient stores, and of course the water side of darling harbour. Great service: Very friendly, and very helpful. Great for groups: Our group of 5 was quite comfortable in our room with 6 bed. I got top-bunk. :) Great Room: The room had ample lighting with 5 windows in total, and the charming, carved coving around the ceiling was quite lovely. The room was well-equipped for the winter chill with two heaters, of which we only used the one. Fridge, table and two chairs, and own bathroom with toilet/shower aswell. Great amenities: Lucky us, we got a room near the communal kitchen. Literally a couple metres down the hall in the morning for a cuppa. The roof terrace was cool, if it weren't so cold/windy that night we would have sat out for a bit more than a minute. Would love to stay there again! :D.

Cockle Bay, the night view is very romantic, very beautiful. Summer night, sit near the water, quiet voice to talk to, or don't say anything, I really enjoy. Next, slip the restaurant's high-end Central High-End, all human, air, fire, explosions, and worth a try.

My Number One "Stay Away" in Sydney. Conveniently located close to the Harbour Side Shopping Center. Ideal starting point for a leisurely walk up north to the Opera House and into the Botanic Garden. Hotel / Rooms / Service are well above average.
