Very dissatisfied with the cleanliness of my room. Mould in the shower was incredible. I was moved to another room but a hotel at this standard should do better.

Fabulous high tea; really fresh and delicious food — so yummy, and bottomless bubbly. And Sooz is a great host — knowledgeable, friendly and she made sure we never ran out of bubbles.

Drink before midnight church service on Christmas Eve. Very welcoming and relaxed.

Great Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms and as we got the Easter package, kids got goody bags and there was a movie room set up like a cinema showing kids movies throughout the day. Right in the centre with lots of restaurants and bars around. I really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a great hotel in Parramatta.

We had our Melbourne Cup lunch there we had an amazing time. Bobby one of the staff members was incredibly attentive and exceeded my expectations. There were certain menu items I could not have so he quickly organised replacements meals. Nothing was too much — in fact all your staff were wonderful, cheerful and very professional. My partner and I will definitely return.

We only stayed one night, But it was fantastic. Amazing staff very friendly. Clean room every thing we needed & very close to Bankwest Stadium.

I was only in the King function room and we were all treated like royalty. A great night.

Small out dated rooms. There is much better value for money accommodation in Parramatta. This hotel charges the same price as some other much nicer hotels in the area. The customer service at this hotel is shocking.

Our meetings were set up so nicely and we were attended to by the amazing Parkroyal team who were friendly and helpful!

The food is fresh and plentiful. Service is super.

Amazing comfort simple friendly.

Love staying at the motel, beds are so comfortable, rooms are clean and quiet, close to shops and restaurants. The only thing I was disappointed about this stay was breakfast, bacon wasn’t cooked enough, took a while for hot food to be restocked when empty. Waited so long for some pancakes and when they finally did come out there was so many people wanting for them I didn’t end up getting any.

This place is all that one could want when staying away from home.
The staff are very friendly, hospitable and nothing is too much for them to handle.
The gym is great, maybe small but still is suitable to help you continue with your daily work out regime.
Would definitely consider or recommend to family and friends for a stay here.

The room was immaculate and exactly as it looks in the pictures (they often aren't! ). We had access to the club lounge which we utilised in the evening for complimentary drinks and a nice selection of canapes. Breakfast also well worth paying for — plenty of options and frequently replenished. Very happy with our stay and what was included in the very affordable price.

We had a company conference here. Facilities were fine, but the food was very underwhelming and staff attitude patchy. Some staff were nice but some not. When I politely advised them that the hot water kettle outside our conference room was out of hot water the manager's response was that "we only provide this for the break periods, and right now is not a break". Really? Is hot water that much to ask? Lo and behold, the break came and went and they didn't fill up the water. When someone simply doesn't give a damn, it's very obvious.

The Park Royal is an excellent venue for conferences. The space they have is ample and the infrastructure is great. They have a stage available, and plenty of AV equipment for presentations. The sound is great. The catering they provide for participants is also of high quality. They have tea, coffee and pastries for morning tea, as well as fruit and other savoury options. The lunch they offer is impressive too. They give hot and could options, with chicken wings, sandwiches, salads and other vegetarian items.

Not bad at all. Clean and tidy if a little dated. No pick up or drop off out the front which is super annoying especially when its raining and you have to cross the street for pick up or drop off. Staff are great, foods good.

Good location. Plenty of food places in the area. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Westfield shopping centre. Hotel itself was a little bit on the older side however we were told we could "upgrade" to the nicer, recently renovated side of the hotel for an additional cost. Would definitely return.

I stayed one night with my partner. Very nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, room spacious with all the facilities you need. Check in and check out quick and efficient. Breakfast very good. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful hotel with professional staff. The amenities are excellent, I stayed in a king room, it was spacious with modern touches and a comfy bed. The hotel is centrally located in town and close to all transport facilities.

The Indian woman at the front desk gave me a super bad impression, was super bad, English Super rotten, still impatient, including breakfast Leng is said not to include, to charge 25 knives per person, this can definitely be called the most blockage experience of Sydney travel.

Good accoustics and lighting in the main room and also good selection of drinks / coffee provided. Clean bar / toilets. Easy street access with a good size lobby.

I stayed for one night for work, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Hotel is in a great spot with a short walk to multiple restaurants.

Relaxing atmosphere at the bar downstairs. Nice place to sit for a quiet catchup and watch the world go by. You can order a light meal from the bar. The service us good and the food was nice.

Fantastic location for conferences! The rooms were adequate with great audio and projectors. The staff were fantastically attentive and took feedback to improve your stay. The chef was amazing with dietry requirements and ensured that despite having a nut allergy I was not doomed to only eat fruit.

The hotel is extremely cozy full of comfort and optional the staff is very friendly and helpful the use Icarus PW is that it is a bit of a walk from the center of Sydney. But anyway it was fabulous.

Breakfast buffet is great. Clean rooms and corporate friendly. Recently refurbished and modern foyer, lovely place to visit.

Big, tasty meals. Steak on steak sandwich was thick and cooked well; a huge serving of chips with it. Service is a little slow. There was no one manning the bar for quite awhile. Went back to our seats and waited.

My partner and I chose Table30 restaurant in this hotel to celebrate Valentine's and 2 years of being together. The night started off well with being ushered to our table, water being poured and the napkins being draped over our laps. From there, the pleasantries end… When we received our entrée, the platter was put in front of us and then the waitress promptly left. The prawns looked and tasted old. The condiments tasted like they were straight out of the jar. The olives were so salty. It was here I noticed the waitresses/waiters placing the same platters down in front of other guests but then taking the time to explain to each couple what was on the platter and asking if the couple's required anything else. Why were we not afforded the same courtesy? I must point out that my partner and I are gay males (and the only homosexual couple dining tonight) and noticed roses being handed out to all the female diners but not one offered to us (even though we paid for the same menu offer). Mains then come out and the same process is continued — platter placed in front of us and waitress walks away. Other couples are being told by their waiters as to what was on the platter again and so on… Were we invisible? The same again for dessert… but this time couples were being asked if they would like coffee or tea to compliment their dessert EXCEPT us. When we went to pay (reluctantly), we were asked how our night was.

Business hotel, almost everyone staying here are here for business. It is at a very convenient spot. Lot of nice places to eat around here, there is a river walk, and if you keep going you ended up running into Parramatta park. It is very pretty and calming if you had a busy week. Recommend the hotel for it's location.

All in all, it's a very bad experience.
Our family lived for five days, every other day is not less towels, is the tea bag has not been mended or even not tidied up, the shower cap is also never mended.
The network was not available at first. The most ridiculous thing is that one day the whole power jumps off, the person in charge to check, and constantly question is our problem …

It was clean, well presented. The complimentary products were perfect! The service was good for the holiday period. Close proximity to a good restaurant.

I only used the upstairs conference rooms and downstairs function room, both of which were spacious. Don't really have any negatives. Staff were polite and maintained the place well.

Located in the heart of Parramatta restaurant strip, it's conveniently located for the traveling guest. Room had nice views as advertised but the service had some flaws. Room cleanliness let a bit to be desired as the room surfaces were visibly dusty. Hotel staff entered our room at least twice without permission: first time within 5 mins of us entering the room (they didn't even knock first) and second time whilst we were out of the room to leave a fruit platter. The offer of a fruit platter casts doubt on their food safety standards as this was left in the open air within the room for an entire afternoon. This should have at least been covered to prevent spoilage. Facilities were modern and comfortable. It is a nice place to stay at but a few issues did spoil the stay at this hotel.

Really superb staying in this hotel. Duper super. Enjoyed. Very good breakfast menu and very tasty also. Good view and spacious rooms. Rooms are very clean and neat. Heart of the city, to easy to move around. I strongly suggest for travellers, who travel to Sydney, Parramatta and don't miss this place. Also center place for many tourist places, so convenient to move around. Railway station is walkable distance.

Wedding Anniversary celebration one year after a fabulous reception here. Thoroughly recommend. Staff amazing and surprised with chocolates and bubbly! Made it even more special. Proper cafetiere and coffee in room. Spotless bathroom. Went swimming in pool too. Easy access to Parramatta, Parramatta Park, Lake Parramatta. Beautiful buffer breakfast. Hot and tasty even towards end of breakfast time and no food shortages at end. Would go to any park royal hotel again. Love my stay.

Stayed last Saturday night. Great location and staff were very friendly. Parking easy. Room was huge, bed and pillows very comfortable. Bathroom great. Had iron and ironing board that worked well. I also appreciated the full length mirror and chairs to sit on to watch TV and not jus sit on the bed. Room had tea and coffee making facilites and a mini bar. Safe in the room and hanging area for clothes with bath robes and slippers. We were on the 11th floor with a view towards Sydney. Although it was raining I still enjoyed the view and could see Sydney Tower. Location great with lots of food places to choose from. Close to Rosehill Gardens. Only thing I could complain about would be breakfast as the scrambled eggs were runny and the bacon was cold. But lucky there was much more to choose from, this is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. We will be back for sure! Also I called on my way from Canberra early Saturday morning and explained we needed somewhere to get ready for the races and was told they would do their best. On arrival at 10.30am room ready, parked car… good to go. That was much appreciated!

Car park entry/exit is tight and can be over crowded. Lift is reasonably quick. Staff were helpful. Nice beds and in room facilities. Nice breakfast. Good location for local restaurants. Currently construction nearby which may be an issue for light sleepers.

"Secure parking" that was included on my reservation is open for the public as paid parking which can make it difficult to secure a car in the lot. Was worth the money, staff were nice and quickly sorted out my lack of ID that I'd forgotten. Buffet breakfast was included making the experience and already well price stay more worthy, which had a good range of food and a sole purpose Chef to cook your eggs the way you like. Room was clean and tidy, my rooms bathroom was a bit small, but worked out fine considering it wasn't the bigger room. Will stay there again Definitely.

Not exactly a friendly hotel. Welcomed after a long drive by rude staff. Got to hotel early wanted to pay for room and come back to pick up room key and check in later in afternoon. Abruptly the staff member said no, you can’t do that. Your rooms not ready. I said fine I just want to pay for room now, then get into room later when it is ready. Then wanted a credit card for bond, I didn’t want to place the bond on a credit card but I’d happily place a cash bond. After this I w…as upset and wish I had chosen another hotel…
when I arrived back later that afternoon the same staff member was still on reception and again greeted by same abrupt manner. When I got my key she had not told me how to find my room or if I wanted to know how to get to pool or gym etc this is not what I had thought is parkroyal standard. Bad day or not… Not keen to stay here again…

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. Beds are comfortable staff are friendly. Even got a tour around the breakfast buffet!

Have stayed here on a number of occasions and would recommend to anyone wanting a quality place to stay in Parramatta. Staff are friendly and helpful. My last stay was in a Deluxe room, very clean throughout and very close to shops and restaurants. Always happy with my stays there.

Very disappointing experience. The staff were not very welcoming or accommodating. We booked 4 rooms with my family for a weekend stay and let me tell you that all the rooms either had dirty cups or spoons. Also when we went to go together as a whole family to have our pre-booked breakfast, the staff at the restaurant reception told us that we all had to sit on 4 separate tables of two each as they could not put tables together. For 5 adults and two children : — (. So we just left and walked across to Coco Cubanos and got to have breakfast together as a family. Parramatta is not short of great breakfast venues. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they are desperate.

We upgraded to the deluxe room with bath. My wife and i, we were impressed. Loved it so much that we are playing to return again soon. Very friendly staff with excellent attitude. Thankyou.

Beautifully appointed. Very modern stylish rooms. Close to restaurants. The room service food was delicious. Has a restaurant. Very impressed that I have plunger coffee in the room. So we'll appointed.

Tis very nice I like it. Has a nice breakfast menu (and it's all you can eat) just get to the bacon and other cooked foods and make sure it's not cold or semi warm because for the two days I was there, the "hot" food is cold and really wasn't worth eating. The beds are comfy and relaxing. If you want some firmer pillows make sure you say thats what you want because the others are just extremely soft. It's location is really nice, there are plenty of restaurants around and not very far away there is West field shops. It's just a 5 minute walk up and while you go and walk up there you can look at the menus.

Easy to find and park nearby. Typical breakfast function foods, not terrible but nothing to write home about. Function room was good. AV was good and easily viewable from all angles and the sound was also good. Room was a little stuffy, but it was winter and the air con was very warm, which I'd prefer stuffy and warm vs. Freezing cold.

I booked the fuel package that includes parking + $25 fuel voucher& breakfast. Its good value for money but we didn't get the parking. We checked in by 3PM and parked the car and everything was good. At 7 PM we went out for dinner and came back by 9.15PM, there was not a single car park available. I wasted almost 20 minutes roaming on two floors to find a parking. When I approached the reception they were not at all helpful, the only solution offered to me was to park in the nearby public car park and they will reimburse. Please note that parking was included in the package and still it was not available to me. Its stated on their advertisement that parking is subject to availability but if its offered as a package they should ensure that its available. If you are driving and planning to check in after 6PM please look some where else as there is a possibility that you won't get a car park.

Firstly, the staff here are outstanding. Incredibly friendly, informed and ready to help you with anything. Any request is attended to immediately. Nothing seems out of their way. Remarkable. The rooms are above adequate. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Only recommendation is power points closer to the bed. Lights need to be activated by wall switches as opposed to the unit itself. Still 5 stars for the quality and cost.

Service was/is disgusting! I had organised something that I was ASSURED would remain confidential. Information was divulged cause a huge family rift. When I contacted them 11/12/15 I was advised the manager would call me at midday… I'm still waiting!

Stayed here a number of times and liked the Fuel package they have which includes parking and a fuel voucher and king corner room. This is one of the better motels in the area for the price in my view.

When we arrived at the hotel, the drive was almost full but we managed to park behind several cars of which I assumed the divers were currently checking in. I went inside to get my room key then returned to my car. I sat in the car for over 10 minutes before going inside to the concierge desk to complain not being able to move my car. They said that they would organise the cars to be moved straight away. After waiting another 5 minutes they several members of the concierge desk came out to move the cars. Obviously they were valet parking, but were to lazy to park them properly any time soon. When I booked in I was told that my room had been upgraded to a better room than the 'City View' room I had booked and paid for. After going to the room on level 4, I realised that the room was facing the west (city is to the east) and the view was of the fback of some shops and an alley where it looks like you would be stabbed. After complaining to the concierge desk that this is nothing like I paid for and barely an 'upgrade', they moved me to another room facing the east on the same level and said that it had views of the Parramatta river. Opening the curtains revealed that there was no view of the river, but a car park, crane and a rooftop where work was being performed. Concierge was contacted again but this time it wasn't a pleasant call for them. I was FINALLY moved to a room on the 9th floor with city views. It should not be so hard to get what you have paid for.

Great location if you're interested in eating — lots of restaurants walking distance. Other than that, nothing to write home about.
