This is an awesome hotel in Sydney and making a peaceful and secure environment for the guests. We booked Harbour View hotel room and my little one really enjoyed the view and we too. Highly recommended.

The staff, the bar Tender, the people at the restaurant Room service all beautiful service, the city view from our room beautiful, secret Garden 5 minutes walk transport ferry and train station 5 minutes walk, 5 minutes walk to coles, Aldi, Plaza, take away food shops, and restaurants, thank you and would recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend this hotel because of great view and friendly staff. Rooms are so clean and well designed. Also, every year they do special New Year Eve celebration. Great price for amazing foods/drinks, live music, dance and the best view to NYE fireworks 🎆🎇 A big thank you to the hotel’s team. We have just spent 4 nights at the View Hotel Sydney. What can I say, we have had a great stay. From Reservations,
Front Desk, to housekeeping, restaurant staff and the amazing meals that Chef Geoff and his team prepared for us, nothing was too much trouble.
They definitely make you feel welcome and we recommend his hotel. Transport is just so easy from North Sydney too!
Definately will back soon!

Wow what a place. Friendly, helpful staff, so polite, accommodating and thoughtful, food is great and the view is to die fir. Every floor has an amazing view. This is the only place that we stay when we come to Sydney.

Sadly on stayed one night in this great hotel but go back again if I have a choice. Comfortable bed and great sized room but the view, that was magnificent. Breakfast was lovely and a wide choice — buffet but was served by staff due to COVID restrictions. Great place to stay.

This weekend we stayed for my hubby’s birthday and we had a lovely surprise in our room with a card wishing him a happy birthday. The food in the restaurant is beautiful! We always leave happy!

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was great and the bath products smell delightful. The room services was amazing and I just ate possibly the best brownie on the planet! Gorgeous view and great staff. Highly recommend.

It seems the building was designed to give million dollar views over the harbour. All at much less than a million dollars too! It is a pleasant hotel at reasonable prices. Very close to the train station too.

Overall, great. Awesome location, perfect views and reasonable prices. Little disappointed with breakfast. They forgot part of our meal and then served everyone else before fixing our order. I would stay here again but might look elsewhere for breakfast.

We cancelled our booking 10 days ago with reception and today I went to go buy baby supplies and we were missing $200.
the reception staff have said that they wont process the money back due to no authority? and maby try back later if the manager is in or wait to monday. bloody stitch up.

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, twice for girls getaways and once with my fiancé. Absolutely adore this place, has been perfect everytime. Views spectacular, staff extremely helpful and nice, food beautiful, beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in anywhere, rooms gorgeous with everything you need provided. This has got to be one of best hotels within Sydney. It's close to Nth Sydney station, has panoramic views of Sydney Harbour Bridge, Luna Park and Sydney Opera House. I'm surprised more tourists haven't discovered this gem yet. Staff are friendly and helpful and has wonderful in house dining and a lounge/bar area to relax have and have a beverage or two.

The hotel rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. The foyer and facilities are starting to show their age. But my biggest complaint with the place is the trains that rumble through the bottom of the hotel. I only stayed as I was attending a meeting. I probably would only stay for NYE as the view is rather spectacular.

Professional and friendly staff, clean and tidy amenities, close to transport and picturesque locations around Sydney Harbour. However, the area is busy with working professionals on weekdays and is quiet with nothing open on weekends.

The hotel is positioned so close to the North Sydney train station. The view from our room was like a post card, absolutely picturesque. The staff were friendly and helpful. Awesome stay.

First time in this hotel. The views are amazing from our room. Room is not that big but just enough. Surprised it the window view of the bathroom to the main bedroom.

The views were incredible from our room on the 9 th floor looking directly at the bridge and water, happy hour at the bar Saturday night was great with a muso playing we were able to check our bags in early on the Friday and left them there until we picked them up Sunday night, room was spotless, breakfast was great, and so easy to get to public transport just out the front, only downsides were they took the accommodation out of my account again (lucky I checked) but refunded it immediately they said into my account and them"steps" out the front having bad knees made it a bit hard coming and going but hey that's the only thing that was annoying would and will be staying here again later in the year.

Beautiful view. Service is ok, food is very nice although not too much choices but still enough. Drinks are nice as it's right next to bar. Right next to train station and bus stops it's very convenient, although there are road works going on at the front road which probably deters some potential guests.

This Hotel is a excellent hotel in a great spot with the best views you could ask for. We were on the 3rd floor. Our room had panoramic views of the bridge and harbour. Great value for money. The north Syd train station is 2 min walk from front door, so if exploring Sydney then this is the place. We would definitely recommend this Hotel. We will be back but will stay 3 nights this time. We are back again and as per first review its a great hotel. Except this time we were on the 8th floor and the view is outstanding as is the Value. We will never stay at another Syd hotel.

Nice and close to the station great views of the harbour. Comfortable bed this time I stayed on Level 2 and heard the trains rumbling through underneath it seemed. Make sure you get a higher floor. Views fro room were good.

A good hotel with all the amenities you want. The North Sydney station is just 100m away on the blue street. My room had a perfect view to the "Harbor Bridge" (see pic). The room had everything you need. But the close Metro station passes the hotel in the underground so you sometimes feel if a train passes. But that is no wonder. Thats normal I a city with 5 billion people. For me it was ok. The citycenter is 2 stations away. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacies are around the hotel.

Fantastic view! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed on the 12th floor and weren't bothered by train noise. The rooms were clean and modern. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Excellent service. Restaurants food was amazing. It is above the train line and you do hear the rumble. But if you don't mind that it's a great place to stay. No balconies though.

We stay there about once a month and always leave having been pleased by their entire team. Front desk excellent, restaurant far superior than expected, room service great, bar excellent service! And its economical.

We had booked a get away weekend we wanted a harbour view the room with a view but a shrub tree blocking the view was very disappointing secondly the train Line run troughgh I believe from underneath it because the room kept shaking every time a train went pass we kept waking up through the night as if there was continuous jets passing it was very unpleasant. However, the service and the room were both very good and I am sure if we have lodge a change of room from level 2 to a higher floor could have been better but we were too lazy to do that please make sure no one takes room 205 if you want to relax and if you are after a view. I will stay agin but higher floor 100%

Great hotel! We stayed on the ninth floor and had a breathtaking panoramic view of the harbor. It was incredibly beautiful both during the day and at night. The hotel is also in a great spot. The Rocks/Opera House/Botanic Gardens are definitely walking distance. However, it’s also just a quick two-minute walk from the North Brisbane train station (which will put you at Circular Quay in just a few minutes). Also, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! While the bed could probably have used an update (seemed a bit worn), would recommend to anyone!

My favourite place to stay in Sydney. Best price for comfortable modern rooms with stunning harbour, harbour bridge and opera house views from most rooms. If you need silence to sleep train station noise underneath building can be an issue on lower floors.

Beautiful view of Sydney Harbour Bridge from our room. We were lucky to get a surprise fireworks show as well! Very comfortable, affordable, and so close to local attractions and pubs. We has a great stay and would definitely come back again.

Have stayed here twice now and both times and both times I've had a harbour view room. The views are amazing. While it may be a little noisy in the lobby when the trains come through they have done a really good job of sound proofing the rooms. The beds were quite comfortable and don't feel cheap like some motels. The rooms are quiet and very dark at night which means you will be able to have a good night's rest.

The view is breathtaking and uninterrupted from the Harbour view room. The room was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food we ordered for room service was delicious and reasonably priced. The only thing letting in down is the lack of airflow due to the windows with restricted opening/no balconies. Will definitely be staying here again.

For the price paid, there’s no bath tub or gym nor did I get harbour facing room or an early checkin. Service is good overall, but nothing to write home about. Rooms are compact, no complimentary water in room.

The room was lovely with awesome views, bed very comfortable and the service great I did however find the breakfast second rate. The bacon was dry, poached eggs hard and rubbery and the gluten free bread was powdery. I would have thought a hotel of that quality could afford better. If I go back, I won’t be eating there.

Visited my parents who were staying in the hotel for their anniversary. Whilst I didn't stay there, I checked out the room which had an amazing view of the harbour. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated and quite nice with the rest of the room appearing older but OK. I had a drink with them at the bar downstairs and received excellent service. All the staff I encountered during my short stay there were very polite and friendly. My rating comes purely from my short but enjoyable experience there and thus cannot recommend a stay but based on what I've seen, I'd definitely been open to it!

I stayed there quite a few times and it's my favourite hotel in Sydney. The service is outstanding and the view from the rooms is just stunning.

Enjoyed the cocktails at the bar. The bartender was very lively and we loved the suggestions he gave us, when we couldn't choose which drink to have. The view from our rooms was amazing, with views of the bridge and harbour.

Distinctly average furnishings in a tired hotel. You will be woken first thing by trains which pass below the building. The view of the bridge is the only thing going for it.

Amazing views from the rooms the only down side is the railway line that runs underneath. Food is okay and onsite parking is awesome. Great location if you are travelling around a bit. Train line might annoy some but location should outweigh this so still 5 stars in my opinion.

A place that is fitable for business or relax. With a good view and excellent location it is a convenient place to stay. The bar is quite simple but it's close to everything that you need in North Sydney.

We loved staying here! The breakfast was very good and the room was very nice, perhaps on the small side and missing a couch but otherwise very comfortable. Entrance was a bit confusing and we had no idea how to get into the car park so we ended up parking our car on the road. But the view was absolutely spectacular! We got the Luna park deal and we could see the ferris wheel when it was all lit up which our kids loved!

Sensational. They upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. We'll be back again.

North Sydney Harbourview Hotel is every sense a business hotel which caters for every business needs. Location is within walking distance to a number of businesses and the view of the harbour and the bridge is great. However, being situated above the train tracks means that for guests staying at the lower levels get to feel the vibration and sound of the trains whenever one goes through.

Great hotel. Clean, quiet, great service, easy parking good food. Conveniently located. Only issue is that it is built over the railway line. So everytime a train comes the entire building shakes (albeit very slightly) and you can hear a deep rumble. It's easy enough to sleep to, but is by no means ignorable.

One best view for New Year's Eve.

Had a function here in the Lavender Bay room and it was fantastic! Amazing harbour views as the city lit up at night, the staff were great and everyone agreed it was the best function food they had had in a long time. A number of guests work in hospitality and they were blown away by the dinner and dessert buffet we were served. I had a lot of requirements such as having an entertainer and needing speakers etc. And the Harbourview were very helpful and everything and the attention to detail was brilliant. The price was literally a fraction of all the other quotes I received from similarly placed venues and everyone had the a night to remember for long, long time.

This hotel is a bargain if you choose your room carefully. Don't stay on the bottom floors if you do not like the sound of a train going past. You won't hear them on the higher floors, though, especially those with Harbour Bridge views on the opposite side of the hotel. Service is determined and faultless. :).

This is the second time my husband, two children and I have stayed at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms comfortable and very clean. It has amazing views of the Harbour Bridge and city skyline. North Sydney station is only 2 minutes away so we caught the train into the city to see "Vivid ", had dinner and then came back to our room and sat watching all the changing colours of the Bridge and the city in airconditioned comfort.

Recently refurbished rooms are inviting and comfortable, if a little small. The Harbour views are beautiful in the morning when the sun streams in.
