Had items stolen from the room I had been staying at Mary Mackillop place 4 days a week, every week, for the past 4 month's and had ongoing bookings well into the future (1+ year). Everything was going fine until today I had items stolen from my room, I was working from the room that day and had money and other valuables sitting on my side table, I wanted a smoke so I placed the do not disturb sign on the door and went downstairs and outside (as they don't allow smoking on premise) — — I was gone for all of 2 minutes. When I came back upstairs to my room the cleaner was near my door and very nervously uttered a hello to me, after closing the door I noticed that my bed was made and things had been moved, there was money missing and 2 items had been taken! I quickly went outside my room to confront the cleaner and found that she had moved all the way down the hallway into the end storage room and was down on her knee's when I got there, I asked her what she was doing (i presume stashing the money and goods) but she didn't answer me, I told her that I wasn't stupid and I wanted it back, to which she overacted the "i didn't take it see my pockets are empty" routine — — suffice to say that I have contacted the police, and immediately checked out and cancelled all of my future bookings. Completely untrustworthy!
