Was a wonderful stay staff were amazing, I felt so looked after by you all, I had my husband in the hospital for a few weeks and felt very cared for by staff everything was a 10/10. Look forward to returning one day. Rooms and shower so clean and lovely. Best scramble eggs for breakfast. ❤️❤️

Good price, clean rooms, plenty of parking.

This morning I went to breakfast got some cereal. Went to get some toast and while I was getting toast your staff cleared the whole table including my personal belongings and my room key
Now back in my room after having to get another key programmed I’m now Stuck in a room with no phone to reception because its broken
I can’t open the blind because its broken.
Rang reception off my mobile only for it to go to a message bank!

Had a nice dinner and a good nights sleep after driving from Melbourne.

Only 16km from Sydney CBD. Train station and Macquarie Centre within walking distance. Rooms are good for a short stay. Stayed twice and found it to be quiet location.

Simple amenities. Very near to Macquarie centre. It is easy to grab a bite at night. They served simple breakfast.

Staff are lovely. Nothing to hard. The accommodation was to our liking & the bed comfortable. We tried the downstairs attached restaurant for takeaway & although took alot longer for us to get our order compared to the time given it was a lovely meal. It appeared they had one person taking orders & cooking the food. One dish washer & that was it. The buffet breakfast was included & although we where late arriving (close to finishing) the quality of the food was like it had just been put out when opened. This is rare.

Friendly staff and offers a good range of amenities. Has a 24hr desk along with Bar and snacks. Convenient location for business visits in Macquarie Park. Room size is adequate with all relevant amenities. In room Wi-Fi is excellent — good coverage and speed which varies from 15M to 19M up/down. Dining options in their restaurant Glasshouse Dining are great. The only negative point, if I'm being picky, is that they do not offer room service. You can order the food from their restaurant and then go downstairs to pick it up. Parking is available in basement but might be chargeable, not too sure as I did not use this service. Bed in the room was super comfy with two types of pillows available — soft and medium hard one. Bathroom is of adequate size and had a unique design which was that the door could be used to close the shower area or the entire bathroom leaving the shower area open. The room doesn't require the keycard to be inserted to turn on electricity. They have a squarish push button to press to supply power. Also hotel provides a small kit with basics such as toothbrush comb razor etc if you have forgotten to bring on your trip. One has to call reception to request it and then go to pick it up from reception. The room was clean and would certainly visit here again.

Highly recommend! The staff are the nicest, most polite people I have ever met, the rooms are just lovely and the food is delicious. I would like to thank each and every one of you for making my families holiday so special. I will defiantly be back.

The location is great. Cleanliness is OK. Its made for over night guests. The mini kitchenette is so mini, that u cant fit more than two bottles leave aside food. Bathroom size is good but don't have full shower, You will flood the room. The shower and rest of the bathroom are not separated by any raised wall. Save two Front office staff, rest of them are rude! Seems they are doing favor to guests. On arrival $ 1 was taken from account with assurance a refund at the end of our stay. We never saw the dollar, instead we were charged additional fee; we were not provided any explanation about the charge. I will never recommend or stay in any holiday inn ever in future. Very disappointing. Because of Corporate guests The Management may be indifferent to this review. The experience has left a bad taste about Holiday Inn.

Great location. Small rooms which have a modern clean ensuite with high showers and good pressure. Breakfast is plentiful and yummy. Parking is under cover and reasonably priced.

Stayed here on holiday. The hotel has breakfast with every stay. The staff were welcoming. Hotel parking is available and quite secure. The rooms look and feel… corporate. That's understandable considering it's refurbished from office spaces. Will go again.

Location is good. Close to major offices, train station and shopping centre. But rooms are just average. Not too great for the money. Tiny wardrobes. It's difficult to even fit a bag. No microwave if I want to get some good and warm it.

Really great hotel. The staff is amazing and the breakfast is great. The rooms are updated and have usb plugs to charge all your electronics which is nice.

A lovely place to stay, convenient, modern facilities and staff are all very friendly. Cleaning service of room wasn't as thorough. If there were a pool, it would be perfect. Value for money if you needed to stay around this area in Sydney.

Nice place to stay. You might be asked if you would like a coffee during breakfast — this coffee is not covered in the breakfast price tho. I want aware of it and no one told me. Otherwise, pretty comfy hotel near a lot of businesses.

Bit away from main region of Macquarie, but good Pickup-Dropoff zone, Nice cafe and restaurant, Contemporary lobby, Manned reception… "Feels" niche among economy accomodation. Good for professionals on a budget.

The room is about what you expect for a holiday inn which is nice. There's a decent breakfast and underground parking. Only downside is that the door for the shower is also the door for the bathroom. Ie. If you're in the shower, then the door to the toilet is open.

Easy to get to, 12hr parking on the street (free before 7am, after 7pm and on weekends). Rooms are nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. Staff are always nice.

Clean, Friendly, Nice, Roomy, and Fair stay. Went for 1 night with breakfast buffet with my partner and it was just amazing experience for us. Definitely coming back for more relaxing short retreat. Thank you for your services keep it up.

I stayed here for a week. I found the room clean and modern, though quite compact. My room rate included free Wi-Fi (which was fast enough for skyping) and a buffet breakfast.

Extremely friendly staff, particularly Danielle and Alexandra. Very clean rooms. Very comfortable beds and luxurious bed linen, even a choice of firm or soft pillows. Well appointed room and I had a descent view our my widow. I used the gym, it was small but good enough to do some exercise and had cold water and towels readily available to use. The Glass House resturant made DELICIOUS food, were relatively quick and lovely helpful polite staff. Breakfast buffet has everything you could need and more. Each morning as customers enter for breakfast a staff member greets you and takes your 'fancy coffee' order… all free! Excellent venue. Close to shopping centre. 5 stars all round.

Easy parking, extremely quick check in and checkout. Staff were super friendly and breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Will stay again.

Great room, service very helpful, clean modern facilities, its top quality all round. In comparison with other hotels I stay at in travelling for my work its a haven. Food is improving very much after a year since opening. Its a pleasure to stay there.

Disclosure: work paid for this stay, I had no out of pocket to factor into my enjoyment of stay. Reception were lovely, had a sassy receptionist that joked that I was simple-minded, she totally nailed my sense of sass and humour and I enjoyed the interaction. The room was well presented, comfortable and clean. Toiletries were available on request which was good since I hadn't brought toothpaste. The TV offerings were good and the complimentary Wi-Fi was available in one's room and the speed was decent. The morning buffet was a bit lacklustre. Food wasn't particularly fresh in taste but only a minor grip. Would stay again if needed.

Conveniently located a short walk from a large shopping centre, University and train station. Fresh bright rooms with modern decor, TV, iron, hair dryer, mini fridge, safe, USB charge ports in power points. Friendly helpful staff. Undercover parking.

Good location next to the shopping centre. Easy travel for those attending business in the nearby business parks via free shuttles. Adjoining restaurant pretty good. Quiet, clean and new.

Very hard to have minimal lighting in the room, seemed to be all or nothing.
Coffe in the room was really bad but on a plus they had mugs not those silly cups. But if you upgrade to mugs, need a little more milk in the fridge.
Air-conditioning seemed hard to regulate
Shower was warm, seemed to be no hot water.
Had rail and towel rails were falling off and in need of repair.
And room I acually saw and booked on line was not the room we got.
So thankyou but can not say we would be back considering the other accommodation for the same rate in the area.

Small but cosy rooms with no space for extra mattress. Modern glass walled toilet and shower. Rooms have funky decor.

Perfect for. A quick and efficient small hotel clean rooms. No Frills good rates and a good lobby bar with quick pizzas.

Clean, modern, and everything you need for your business stay. Everything has been maintained in very good condition. Easy check in and out. Breakfast menu does the job to get you filled up before heading out the door. Excellent location for those doing work nearby, easy to walk to and from most of the business parks.

This hotel is a fantastic business hotel. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are perfect for the business traveller. The great room is also a fantastic place to relax of an evening and have a quiet drink with colleagues.

Be very wary of this hotel. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park on Saturday April 22, 2017. They did a pre-authorision on my credit card for the full amount of my one night stay. In the morning I settled my account in full. It is now Monday May 15, 2017 and they still have not released the pre-authorisation. I have contacted them twice by telephone, once on Friday May 5 and then on Thursday May 11. On both occasions they apologised and told me that they had released the amount. After the last call I received a narky email from them telling me that I was advised at check-in that they were entitled to hold the pre-authorisation for 14 business days, that they had released the amount and that I was to follow up with my bank. My bank has advised me that the pre-authorisation has not been released and that they need an email or fax from the hotel requesting the release. The hotel are not answering my emails and they have removed their direct numbers from their website. The 1800 number diverts to an overseas call centre where the operators have, on several occasions either put my call back in the queue or hung up on me. The bank have told me there is nothing they can do, they can not dispute the transaction because I authorised it and I have to wait for 30 days until it drops off the system.

We have been using their conference room for out of the office meetings and it has been great. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Decent hotel, was a little loud through the night — I must have been near a staff room. Construction noise front nearby works started early.

Great location for Macquarie Park and North Ryde business and tech areas. Right near 2nd largest shopping centre in Australia — Macquarie Centre. Good public transport with trains (future Metro) and buses. Well designed and functional hotel ideal for business and even family. Smallish but very comfortable functional rooms. Well designed multifunction foyer area.

Located close to Macquarie Park shopping centre, there's a good chance you're staying here for business in the various technology related employers in the area. The room is a good size for a short business trip, comfortable bed, relatively quiet but not sound proof. Blinds block out all light which is great, air conditioning also works well although I had issues with mine — Staff on site took care of it.

Nice and new but very Spartan. No drawers on the what little furniture is in the room. No king size beds. OK I guess if you're there for only one night and traveling alone so that you don't have much to put away. No ice machines available so you have to get the front desk to go to the kitchen to get you a cup of ice, no ice bucket. No door on the bathroom. Lightning is difficult to operate.

The Holiday Inn Express Sydney Macquarie Park is located in the heart of the district well within walking distance to many company offices and the Macquarie Park Shopping Center and Train Station. It is approximately $90 Taxi Ride from Kingsford Smith and about a $11 return trip on the Train to the City. The hotel itself is clean and well presented and staff were always friendly. However, the rooms feel very small and the bathroom does not feel private as its separated by 1cm of Glass, so I would not stay here with a business colleague. In addition this 4 star hotel has no room service. Instead they offer you to order food/drink/amenities and then go down to reception to collect the items and bring them back to your room. The included breakfast is a nice touch but is pretty average when comparing it to some other hotel breakfasts offered. Overall this is a good hotel to stay on a solo business trip to the park, but for other reasons I would consider other options.
