Colony Inn Hotel Motel

We recently stayed at the Colony and had a great time! A lovely warm fire and a beautiful meal were enjoyed after a long day on the road. The motel was great value with split system and smart TV. Thanks to super hosts Jodi, Ferg and their staff — we were made feel very welcome and cannot wait to come back! All in all a great experience 😀

Fantastic place to stay after a long day on the bike. Hot shower. Nice clean and newly renovated rooms. Dinner was lovely. Big serves friendly and helpful service. Highly recommend.

Stayed at the colony for 6 months, was welcomed from day one. Jodi and Fergus are two of the nicest genuine people you’ll ever meet. Food is amazing Ruth the cook sure can whip up a storm, Tytti the eccentric barmaid will go out her way to make your experience there a warm one but with an ice cold schooner. The nights in here so fun and the locals are a treat too. Will be back 100%. Highly recommend here. The newly renovated rooms are some of the best I have ever seen. Keep up the great work guys!

The best, friendliest place ever, Jodi, ferg and Ruth are the best, they’ll make you feel so welcome. Also the garlic breads are the best thing to Grace the planet. Thanks for the best 6 months, will miss you all loads! Xxx.

Good atmosphere and service. Friendly patronage. An excellent menu as in good value and variety.

Good food. Would have been better if we got the gravy we ordered and paid for. We tried to get the waitresses attention but couldn't. We waved to her, called out to her, did everything but threw my glass at her. Eventually gave up in disgust and ate my parmi dry.

A nys little surprise, thoroughly enjoyed our night, service and food were both excellent for a Monday night a good patronage.

Stayed a night for a 30th, clean room, clean bed. Good food and well priced. Happy, helpful and friendly staff.

We were just travelling through and stopped at Jerilderie for lunch, asked a couple of locals who all recommended the Colony.
Delicious lunch in a lovely dining room, warm and welcoming on a very cold winters day.
Hosts were welcoming and friendly.
Will certainly make this our place to stop for lunch on future trips.

Bistro — Steak meals were great, parma was big but dissapointing, deserts were awesome.

Terrible customer service and room Would never stay here again Poor value for money Small room No info on how to work microwave No info on Wi-Fi code or password No info on how to use Heater Left laptop at hotel and took 1 week to get it back as person thought I was coming back after taking my address and phone number. Many phone calls later … and 1 we later the laptop still not posted.

The colony is the best place to go for sure! Fergs and Jodie are super welcoming and extremely friendly! Movie nights for backpackers was my favourite the best night was when they brought in a DJ, best night in Jerilderie ever held.

The Colony is the best place to go in Jerilderie! Jodi and Ferg who run the pub were the most welcoming people and not to forget their lovely dog trigger. Thank you for looking after us backpackers, the movie nights were fab and the DJ night was one of our best nights in Australia! Can’t wait to come back and visit we miss you already Backpackers if you’re passing through Jerilderie then The Colony is a homely place for a bev stop.

Very comfortable bed and clean although the rooms smell a little of drain or similar pungent odour. Fantastic bistro meals as good as any restaurant in Sydney.

Meals and service beautiful worth planning a stop for and the local organic wine a great choice. Room was basic and noisy.

Stayed one night. Middle of town, off Street parking. Bistro and pub on same location which is handy. Room was clean, one wall looks recently repainted which was nice. Bathroom tiles seem newer. Only soap disc provided though. Would stay again!

Not a bad place really. $80 for the night and there was no need to book. There was a lot of bugs around but the provided some bug spray, so it was all ok. Food was actually really nice in the bar if a little expensive for the size. The bar was really popular given it was a friday night and the music was pumping.

Awesome dinner! Absolutely delicious and flavoursome. Once you have decided from the many appetizing parmas ensure you are hungry enough for the full size, it's huge! Fantastic cocktails and lovely staff.
