The hosts were very helpful in arrival and picked up by snow mobile and delivered to Inn. Rooms were spacious with spectacular views from balcony overlooking Guthega Dam. Dinner on both nights was fantastic with exceptional meals. Service was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent.

The owners and staff is what I recommend most! They make everything that is excellent, even better!

feels just like home. There’s always great food (allergies catered) and we love the apres ski beverages while watching the sunset over the mountains ⛷

What a wonderful place. Welcoming, friendly, helpful people plus a great place in a great valley in the beautiful Snowy Mountains. I can’t figure out how to rate it 5 stars but if I could I would! Judy.

Maisels Weisse wheat beer is sensation. Best view ever to drink it.

Neal and Jenny and staff give great personal service. Food is restaurant quality, rooms very comfortable. Nothing is a problem. No TV in room which we found refreshing (you can watch TV at home). Will be back.

Our first time staying at the Guthega Inn and we can’t wait to come back. The staff were amazing and the food was fantastic, a great spot to have a drink on a blue bird day and enjoy the spectacular view. We can’t wait to come back.

Great food, superb wine list and you just can’t beat that view. Can’t possibly visit the area without a long lunch. Keep up the quality Guthega Inn.

This place has an amazing view and is nice to stop and grab a drink at. Pricey as all ski resort establishments are. Do not bother with the food. They seem to be a bit pretentious about something that is not very special. When we went for lunch they only had a few things and were out of most of them. I ordered tagliatelle with puttanesca sauce. What I got was mushy overcooked bowtie pasta sitting in watery tomato sauce. I did something ULTRA rare and sent it back. Got the ribs which were the only thing left. They were good but not 28 bucks good. The serving sizes were kinda small so the guys ordered a cheese plate which took 20 minutes to arrive. If you are going to spend money on food just go buy some chips and a pie.

The Guthega Inn is a hidden gem in the Parisher Valley! Quaint and homely, owners Nick and Jenny go out of their way to make you feel at home (away from home). The rooms are perfectly sized for our family of four. The wonderful surprise came at dinner time, as the food served was AMAZING. Meticulous care was put into making the dishes delicious, and we can not rave about it enough. Kudos to the chef! Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves to ski/snowboard as the 'ski in ski out' feature of the inn is a total plus. Would also definitely return to stay if the opportunity arises! Thank you Jenny and Nick fo a wonderful stay!

Such a cute remote location which is great for a drop in drink or a hearty lunch. Perfect on blue bird days and you can see the range off in the distance!

Brilliant location for lunch during the season — ski in and ski out the BEST views of the Main Range and up the Snowy River. When the weather is nice there is no where better to relax enjoy a German brewski and some delicious creation off the menu. Even the wine list is full of highlights.

Stopped for lunch at the Guthega Inn around 11:30am on the 9/7/2018. The food was bellow avarage and very small quantity. My 11 year ols son who is only 28KG, was still hungry after finishing his pasta. My wife went back to order more food, and was ignored by staff on 2 occasions. Extra cutlery was a burden for staff also. I recommend changing the chef and staff.

Guthega Inn is an amazing place owned and operated by Nick and Jenny who are genuine warm and friendly. We love the close environment, setting and food, not to mention th beautiful views. It’s quite breathtaking. We came with our 2 teenage boys and had 2 rooms interconnecting. It was just right for us. And if you love skiing there are fantastic trails from the inn to take you to anywhere on the mountains, all the way across to mount Perisher. Ski in ski out, just brilliant. We will be back and can highly recommend this place.

We used to visit every year but the owner is such at Basil Fawlty type ass that from now on we wont bother.

It's the best little hideaway to stop for drink and recharge with the most amazing view and a great atmosphere. Other than skiing Its my favourite place to be on the mountain in all weather conditions.

While I appreciate the environment of a nice little euro themed lodge — the food was pretty bad. I was hoping for a Kareela Hut copy but it was no where near that level. Would only go for a drink, not lunch.

Driving in & out of Guthega is always an adventure, especially the pot holes. But once you are there watch the waistline. Fantastic food, wine and hospitallity. Communication with the outside world is impossible, no thanks to Telstra, so enjoy the superb scenery and pick up a real book relax, perfect for anytime of the year, away from the madding crowd.

Cozy hotel with amazing views of the mountains. Beautiful place for a drink after a long day of skiing. Friendly and inviting owners who take pride in their establishment and take time out to chat about the area.

The schnitzel we had was an insult to all schnitzels. It was chewy and not much flavour. One of the staff members was rude and cold to my family member. The only thing that was decent was the hot chocolate I had. But for the food and prices — not worth it. There is nothing special about this place.

Service was appalling. I guess when you have a captive audience with queues out the door you don't bother trying to be happy and engage with your customers. Menu is ridiculously overpriced… $32 for tough veal schnitzel that is oily with a few leaves described as a salad? Oh and the best… you can get some extra cutlery and a plate for a dollar… what is that? Location is the reason I gave 1 star. Never again!

Great location with beautiful views and the coffee is good. So long as you don't mind the pompous owner.

Such a friendly & welcoming experience right from the first stages of booking to when we arrived / a very smoothly run Inn & the view & surroundings a little piece of paradise — I can say by far this is one of the best places we have stayed in perisher & we are a family of 4 with 2 young children.

Good spot for lunch in the ski season.

Great service and views. We ordered red bean soup which arrived two cold for my wife, and they not only reheated it but refunded the cost for both our soups, saying that this doesn't normally happen. Lunch is very popular because of the extensive menu and mountain range views, but service ends at 14:00

Friendly staff, great beers to choose from and a magnificent view to boot!

Crowded all the time. A bit over priced.

Nice place to have a beer and food! Quiet and out of the wind. Little tricky to get to and a bit pricey.

Great food and drinks, probably the best on the mountain. But there's limited seating so get there early!

Visited for lunch and drinks while skiing Guthega. They have one of the best outlooks in the area, matched with a fun vibe. Food ordering is lengthy and disorganised, with staff not really showing any sense of urgency. No EFTPOS, but they have an ATM. Worth a stop on a bluebird day.

Very disappointed with the unfriendly owner. Avoid is my advice.

Fantastic location, nestled in a high valley of the mountains with views over the nearby lake and dam. An obvious on-snow place to stay in winter, but also worth a visit in the summer months to make the most of the nearby hiking trails, or explore further afield with a mountainbike on the fire trails. The dining here is a particular treat, with fish taken out of the mountain rivers and lakes in the morning and served up on your plate in the evening. Best enjoyed with a good wine in front of the fire.

Bit of a hidden gem with outstanding views and food. Comfortable accommodation and fabulous hospitality from the owners and all the staff. Easy access from Blue Cow for lunch, via Bloody Mary/ Norwegian Trail.

Great place in summer — fab food and the views are just the best! The owners are friendly and know how to do hospitality well.

The Best of Guthega We had a lovely time and the inn definetly had a charm! The fact there was only 2 TV's in the Inn was a little dissapointing, but the food was great.
