Great location, friendly staff, really nice meals and they have live entertainment. The bus is so convenient to get to and from Perisher or Smiggins and runs regularly, will definitely stay here again.

Super friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, great food, great facilities. Well located to the ski fields and regular shuttle bus make this a very easy ski holiday experience. Will definitely come again!

Warning This Hotel was the worst Hotel I have Evere Been To They Got my Cards details And stole $890.50 from My bank account Over A period of 3 weeks I stayed there for 2 nights Had paid In full prior to checking in As soon as they got my card details they charged my account $394.50 after already paying $470. Two weeks after checking out they took $505.50cent from my account I have not been given A cent back after complaining they went on saying that the room smelt like smoke. Lies I'm A none smoker and can't stand smoke Don't stay at this hotel They will take all your money from your Card.

Amazing summer experience all round! Great location to explore the national park, room was beautiful and clean, staff were amazing and very accommodating, food was delicious and we had so much fun of an evening having cocktails by the fire with other friendly guests.

Great value for money, good food (and heaps of it), friendly staff and a family friendly atmosphere. Accommodation was basic, but all you need for a family snow trip. The shuttle to the snow made our transport to the slopes easy, the gear hire was convenient too. We did arrive a little early but our room was ready so we could get changed and utilise some time at the ski fields. If I don't go for a luxury "ski in ski out" resort next time (purely for the experience) I'll be going back to Ski Rider for sure. Thanks Ski Rider for making our first family trip to the snow a no hassle, fun loving and memorable experience.

Great spot so close to the ski fields with shuttle bus service. Central heating, ski, board and gear hire. Food outstanding along with the beautiful staff. highly recommended.

Great location. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Food are variety. The room is ok although there were holes on my bed sheet. There’s no TV and Wi-Fi connection is very poor. You need to bring books or something unless you don’t mind watching the same thing everyone else watching in the lounge room. Bring snacks and maybe cup noodles. There’s a kettle for it. Overall we enjoyed it and definitely will come back.

Great service, food, entertainment. Go the extra mile — it was my daughters bday and the chef made a cake for her and the kitchen staff sang her happy birthday. Rooms are very basic but for the amount of time you spend in them it didn’t matter. Would recommend ski rider to everyone!

Ski Rider what a beautiful hotel to stay at, basic but comfortable accommodation, meals are plentiful you will not go hungry, all staff are friendly and helpful. Sitting and watching staff they never stop, always smiling and happy to have a conversation even with the youngest of clientele.

The staff at Ski Rider Hotel are the best I have ever met. They are so friendly and helpful. The food is great and lots of it. It was a pleasure staying here. I would absolutely recommend it.

Stayed here for a week. The place itself is ok. It has motel style cabins with beds, wardrobes and an en suite shower/toilet and not much else. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are warm and cosy in the winter. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help and the food in the self cook bistro is awesome. The shuttle bus to perisher is very handy too (although is at the mercy of the rest of the traffic on the road). I'd definitely stay there again.

Great service. Lovely place great mattresses and could fit the 4 of us comfortably in the hotel. Food was also great when served after a long day of skiing. Waitresses was amazing. Totally would recommend.

Have been coming to Ski Rider for nearly ten years. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Even though it is not "on snow" the bus makes tranportation to the ski fields so easy. Staying at Ski Rider is like staying with family, but even better.

Best place to stay for a trip to Perisher in terms of value and service. Staff are awesome. So convenient with free shuttles to and from the mountain. The breakfast/dinner provided is of the highest quality.

The BEST place to stay in the national park. The rooms are simple but it's all you need for skiing. There's a shuttle bus to Perisher and Smiggins that takes 15 minutes. Breakfast and dinner are included and the food is sooo good. Vegetarian options are outstanding. Gluten free also available. Rent your ski equipment here as well. Everything you need! I will never stay anywhere else.

Great budget accommodation option. As close to the snow as you can get without paying exorbitant prices. Meals included and hire gear on site. Free shuttle bus to the snow tops it off. Always come back here each year.

Convenient location with shuttle bus service. Decent meals included, drinks are reasonably priced. Rooms are pretty basic, no fridge, TV or free Wi-Fi, however they are quite comfortable.

Excellent experience! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Delicious food! Excellent procedures in place for food allergy as my son is anaphylactic and this makes a lot of difference! Excellent shuttles. You don't need to worry about driving and parking. Plus the drivers are friendly and fun! Rooms were nice, warm and well organised!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The service was far above and beyond my expectations. Funny story, I went to the manager to explain that in my excitement to get to the slopes that day I had not been paying attention while driving up and had arrived with a completely empty tank of fuel. Silly right! And with a 23km drive to the petrol station back in Jindabyne I wouldn't make it. She instantly offered to provide her fuel can with 25L of fuel. She would sell it to me at the same price as the pump and send her maintenance man to fill it back up the next day. She really saved the day as it had just dumped 40cm of snow that day and last thing I needed with the family in the car was to run out of fuel. The service in the bar and restaurant was also great and we will definitely be back!

This is my second visit, and I can't recommend Ski Rider high enough. Wonderful and easy place to stay — the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the best I've ever come across in any ski accom. The rooms are basic but warm and cosy. The ski hire is fantastic quality. Worth giving this place a try.

Do yourself a favour and stay at Ski Rider, with great service from the fantastic staff, great entertainment, the menu selection was second to none. This is the place to stay in Kosciuszko National Park.

Accomodation was great, really enjoyed our stay the staff were Friendly and Helpful, food was good and the Shuttle bus service was on time. Definitely be back Next Year.

Love this place. Been coming here on and off the last 20 years and the service is amazing! Roxanne, Kaza, Teena, Matty, Josh, Tom, Ben, Ash and Jess to name a few, are amazing and nothing is an effort for them. All of the staff are amazing and are so friendly. We just spent 6 days here and are going back in September! Can't wait. Highly recommend this place for service and the food they provide in the dining room is great too. Kids, hubby and I won't stay anywhere else.

The Ski Rider is fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is good and the rooms are toasty warm. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back next year. Was also really easy to hire our gear here. Thanks to the amazing staff.

What a great place to stay, so close to the snow without all the hussle and bussle. Clean and tidy rooms with only the necessities. The staff were fantastic nothing was ever too much trouble, they were very courteous making our snow experience a very pleasurable one from the time we arrived to the time that we left. The meals at the Grill Bar are amazing … do yourself a favour and book a holiday today. The only thing that could have been better was a few more pillows in the rooms.

Best place to stay. Close to the slopes but still affordable. Brekky and dinners so you don't have to worry, and it's all included in the price so no expensive meals — the meals are large so you won't be leaving the room hungry! The rooms are great sizes — plenty of room to have your suitcases on the ground and still play a board game. The staff are super friendly and most (if not every) night they have something on. The shuttle bus is super convenient! I love that you can leave your luggage and change of clothes there after checkout and can have a nice warm shower and leave! I only stay at ski rider when I go to the snow!

Absolutely awesome atmosphere, the staff are without a doubt a big highlight, always happy to help and make the resort a fun and lively place to stay. With their shuttle bus going up and down the mountain multiple times a day it makes the mountain easily accessible all day every day! Also having their own hire store attached to the resort is a huge convenience and makes hiring out gear a much easier process. I highly recommend this amazing resort to any people wanting to it the slopes!

We have just had 16 nights here. This is a hotel with very basic rooms, so don't expect anything grand, but we love it. We have stayed here for a few years now. The things that keep bringing my family back are: 1) The great value for money. The excellent free shuttle bus that takes you from the hotel and drops you right at the Perisher tube terminal. We have a 4WD and we could drive up the 11 kms to the ski fields every day, but why bother. Using the free bus means that we don't have to walk across the Perisher car park carrying our gear and my teenage girls can come back from the mountain whenever they want. I don't have to sit in the car park waiting for them. 2) The food is amazing, we take the option to cook our own meat in The Grill. It is always a very social time standing around the huge indoor BBQ. 3) Then there is the super friendly staff. They really are great, We will definitely be back again later this year and then again next year.

My family and a bunch of mates have stayed here for the annual Simmos ski trip for the last 8 years. We could not be happier with how the staff handle our group every year. They are always friendly and welcoming, the staff keep it lively and are always a pleasure. The rooms are always heated nicely and kept clean. In the past 8 years we have never had an issue in any way and will continue to keep staying at Ski Rider in coming years. If you want a fun, entertaining, lodge like feeling accommodation who know how to cook up an awesome pre ski breaky then this is the perfect spot. I recommend ski rider to all family and friends wanting to have a very reasonable priced fun stay at perisher.

I stayed in this hotel 26 years ago. I thought it was fantastic and the food then was amazing. Hope it is the same as it was back then. Cant wait for this season.

We had the best time at Ski Rider on our last family holiday. The staff are really friendly and helpful, food is good and very satisfying after a day of skiing Perisher, and also good before going up the mountain in the morning. Our room was not 5 star, but was warm and clean and spacious enough for 4 or 5 in a family (we had 4). The warming racks dry everything ready for each days skiing. I especially liked being able to dress fully for skiing in the morning, boots and all, and just walk up to the bus and get driven all the way to the ski-fields. There was snow on the roads on a couple of mornings and I would not have enjoyed driving in that. The bus was good. The staff helped me book lift tickets and lesson passes and the price was basically the same. Thank you to everyone at Ski Rider. We will return.

Have just spent 3 nights as a party of 6 and the location is excellent, staff fantastic, brekkie and dinner inc as well as equip hire onsite, free bus to and from perisher, room serviceable. Happy to recommend location.

Accommodation is very basic but clean and that is what you pay for. Have stayed here three times with our young family and always enjoyed. We are here to ski and the proximity to Perisher is good without the extra travel time and costs of when we stayed in Jindabyne. Dinner in the Bar Grill is great and our recommendation.

We were very happy staying at Ski Rider. The prices were very reasonable. Rooms were clean and centrally heated making our stay comfotable. We are excited to be going back this weekend.

Cabins are very small, no TV, no fridge and everything feels like they're trying to save money somewhere. Good location but that's about it. Next time I'll book early and stay in Jindabyne.
