Room had beds as described. A working Microwave. A fridge that wasnt working well enough to keep items at 4 degrees or below, toaster with half the elements not working. (One sided toast! ) Minus temps overnight and Heater wasnt working properly. Shower in need of attention. Only bed with an electric blanket didnt work. However it was definitely warmer and drier than sleeping outside so it did have one redeeming feature!
If your aim is the absolute cheapest motel experience in Goulburn, and comfort be damned, or maybe you are hankering for some Soviet era Gulag charm, or maybe you just want to stay somewhere which will make you appreciate every other place you will stay, then this is the place for you. The heater barely worked and seemed operate on the principle of converting noise to heat… Or perhaps the UFO sound indicated some thermal technology with which I am not familiar. It did keep the room livable despite being a chilly — 5° C outside. There was no lamp so the lighting was a binary all or nothing affair and made the last persons trip into bed a fun game of visual memory. The shower was the most unique I've ever experienced, being a nightmarish combination of scalding hot jets and cool mist firing in random directions from the corroded clogged shower head. The toaster half worked but ejected the half toast with a blue flash, possibly signifying the half baked souls crossing over to World's end. We were not waterboarded during our stay however, which brings the rating up to 1 star. There was also plenty of pillows and blankets and the TV worked so that's another star. It is the cheapest place in town, with all the responsibility that brings.

My son and l stayed there on Saturday 28 July, when we first arrived the room smelt disgusting the stench nearly made me sick. We drove into town and bought a candle to try and get rid of the appalling smell. After dinner we returned to the room and then found the toilet had a unwelcomed surprise, this hadn't been cleaned and was the source of the smell. We reported it straight to the service desk, he told us he couldn't give us a new room and he couldn't contact the manager. We stayed the night as we were tired, the beds were uncomfortable, there was no microwave, no electric blanket, (as advertised) shower didn't work properly, looked like it was last painted in the 50's. My son finally got through to the manager four days later and the manager was rude and kept hanging up on him. Never ever will l stay here again.
