My partner and I escaped reality for a mini getaway. We found the whole experience at the resort to be amazing! The only downside was the restaurant was not open. But that did not bother us so much as the town etc was 2 mins away. Thank you for such a beautiful experience did not want to go home. We will definitely be back ❤

We wanted to get away for a night to a place not far from the Illawarra, where it had a pool, restaurant, spa and a little privacy and we got it. We stayed in the Lake view Suite, which was gorgeous! Dinner in the restaurant was lovely too. Great service by all the staff. The only negatives was that there is no sink in the kitchenette of the suite and that you can't turn control the outside lights of the suite. We weren't able to sit in our courtyard after dinner, due to the amount of bugs on the gorgeous lounges, that were attracted to the lights, but you get that anywhere. Thanks again for a great stay. We highly recommend it.

For starters a friendly greeting and service with a smile wouldn't hurt. Then there is the menu, this I think needs attention, if I wanted pub food I would have gone to a pub and paid a lot less. We waited ages for our meal which the waiter managed to get mixed up. Over all very disappointed.

I had such an amazing experience at Lincoln’s downs resort! The room was big spacious and clean with an amazing view. The pool area was so beautiful extremely clean. Went to briars for dinner and me and boyfriend both got the steak and it was cooked to perfection! Lovely wait staff. There was even a rose and couple of chocolates on the table as we were there for Valentine’s Day such a beautiful touch! I can’t wait to go back and enjoy what this beautiful place has to offer!

Nice and friendly, spectacular pool to swim, and a wonderful wedding.

The fish was old. Absolutely disgusting and it smelt like absolute filth. Service was poor, didn’t even bother cleaning the table for us from the people before. Very over priced for the quality and quantity. To top it off I got extremely sick, I won’t go into detail but let’s just say the toilet copped it in more ways than one. Thanks briars restaurant… you wasted my time and money. Please get more experienced wait staff and decent chefs.

Stayed here for3 nights after being evacuated with the fires. Could not fault anything and would definitely recommend it. The managers are lovely and made us feel right at home. Lovely cooked breakfast every morning. Plus they are providing breakfast every morning to the men & women fighting the fires. Well done lincoln downs jill & russell.

Stayed with the family. Great hotel, rooms have been renovated and the gardens are amazing. Woke up on the Sunday and after breakfast feed the ducks and birdlife.

A fantastic stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Pea helped me plan surprise cupcakes for my husband's birthday, which was greatly appreciated. Beautiful lake view room, excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

A quick trip to moruya and we needed to stay overnight. Quick and easy booking online. Beautiful location, pretty and comfy rooms and the food at the restaurant was delicious and the lake view was stunning.

Loved this place! Stayed at the hotel three nights and had dinner there twice. The hotel was really nice, clean and comfortable. Highlights were the pool and the staff who were all so welcoming and friendly, especially the managers who felt like long lost friends of ours. Stylish restaurant, Excellent food, fresh and delicious. I had the fish of the day and it was cooked perfectly with a lovely fresh salad and hand cut potatoes (not the frozen ones like most places! ) would recommend to stay or even just a place to go for dinner.

Nice and new. The bathroom of the executive room (and I presume for all rooms beneath this tier) is strangely small though. The private lake is a nice feature.

Convenient location on the north side of the Batemans Bay bridge, just a short drive into town. Our room overlooked a small lake and lawns. The room was clean and quiet. We'll be back to stay again.

Absolutely beautiful place for functions, especially weddings! Super friendly and helpful staff. Also a great place to stay, weather passing though or you are local and just feel like a luxurious night or 3 away from home!

Lincoln downs resort was such a wonderful stay for my partner and i. Perfect customer service, friendly welcoming and helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, the briars restaurant was AMAZING, beautiful views calming relaxing and fun. Excellent restaurant and grounds. Looks like a resort. Rooms are still pretty basic and not well sound insulated.

Reception was efficient and friendly. The room was a typical motel set up ideal for an overnight stay with an exit to the lawns surrounding the private lake. Very beautiful and quiet apart from the flocks of ducks which wandered around. I can't comment about the restaurant as it was closed, which necessitated a drive into Bateman's bay to eat at the REAL club.

The inside is exactly what you see online. Grea atmosphere, cosy and restaurant has great food too! Only complaint is you can hear the loud showers from room to room.

Got married there in 1999. We booked the whole place out and the weekend was amazing! We went back last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary 19 years later, we had a wonderful night the staff were awesome, we ordered our wine when seated and they gave us them complementary wishing us happy anniversary! The service and food were great and Lincoln Downs you have just got better with age!

Visited Lincoln Downs this weekend and we loved it. We got a king spa suite and it was glorius. Beautifully decorated, bed was amazing and was super clean. Out the sliding doors was plenty of seating in their gorgeous landscaped lawns and gardens. We even had the company of a little family of ducks. The pool and spa was very relaxing and my favourite part of the stay. Brekky was delicious and the staff were friendly as can be. Will definently be back to visit again.

We had a short but most enjoyable stay over Christmas. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed 3 nights at The Lincoln's Downs Resort at weekend. Although the walls need more installation as you can hear everyone else in other rooms we had an awesome time. Great pool area and plenty of relaxation areas. Simple beautiful. Our biggest dissappointment was the restaurant. We would definitely stay at the Resort again but by no means would we eat at the Restaurant.

We had dinner here last night for my mums 70th birthday. The food was fantastic with no complaints from our party of 12. Tamara and her staff went above and beyond to make the evening extra special. Highy recommend it and will definitely be back again.

Had a wonderful stay, staff and grounds were well maintained and friendly, for the price we paid though those few extra amenities such as microwave, knives and forks would have been great.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are large and clean with a modern look. The bathroom is very nice and looks new, however the water from the shower floods onto bathroom floor a little as there is no door. The area is very nice and peaceful with a beautiful gazebo on the lake.

The hotel room is very nice, modern, spacious, clean, amazing view. I can see the wild ducks and bird from the sliding window of our hotel, the gazebo looks really romantic in the night but there's just lots of bugs or little flies whatever it is there everywhere which is I think normal cause it's near by the lake. The service is good, the pool clean. Love the pool spa. Oh! The bathroom is nicely updated. We enjoy our stay and will surely go back again nextime.

This is the second time we’ve stayed but sad to say we won’t again. The walls are so thin! Can hear everything outside so not pleasant if you’re looking for a restful sleep in.
Room keeping also came in and did up our room when we had a do not disturb sign on the door. We weren’t there, but still, too bad if we were. Not a big deal but odd that they’d do that.
Other than that it is a lovely place with gorgeous gardens. Such a shame they won’t add some sort of insulation as a sound barrier!

Not a pleasant stay. Poorly cleaned, toe nail clippings and hair left in the bathroom, table & bench services sticky with drink marks not wiped down. Cancelled further nights stay & Left after one night. Reported problems to staff but yet to hear back. I don't think they care. Small rooms and bathrooms, paper thin walls, better places to stay for the price in Batemans Bay.

Great hospitality, easy walk over Clyde River into town. Very clean tidy room, renovated bathroom, air con. Access to lake, gym, tennis court, pool. Wifi slow.

Clean, upgraded, quiet, easy walk into town. Only 4 out of 5 cos hubby couldn't find the promised Nespresso machine so I have to listen to that for the rest of the day.

Hotel was nice and clean with friendly staff. Good location as well. Comfy beds, however do wish had queen size rather than doubles. The showers had good pressure and instant hot water, one of my personal requirements in a hotel. There is a slight stagnant water smell from the lake but not a deal breaker. There is room for improvement with regards to the breakfast. Needs more choice for the continental breakfast and should just have like a hot breakfast like you did on Sunday rather than having to order from the menu. Would recommend and also stay here again myself.

I had planned for a weeks holiday for a Melbourne to Sydney coastal road trip. I had booked 3 hotels most of them non-refundable options. Unfortunately one of my family members had to be hospitalised and I had to cancel the entire trip. 2 out of the 3 hotels cancelled and provided me full refund owing to the reason for my cancellation but only for one. They were profit minded, uncaring. I tried to explain the situation and was even happy to provide medical references to prove my genunity. The person on the other side was not willing to listen and simply keep explaining me the rules. I accept and honour the rules and policies but some situations are unavoidable and business which understands and accommodates these unique situations of customer will thrive and prosper. Just thought of sharing my experience so that it can help others in future.

Lincoln Downs Resort and Spa was neither a resort or spa but the triple room we booked was modern and the bathroom was newly renovated. The location was just off the highway, up the road from town and the Oyster Shed is close by. On the weekend I went, there was a 3 course menu available in the restaurant for $55 that I did not try. The room was great value despite feeling like a drive in motel from the outside.

Great place. Good rooms, specially if you get a view to the lake. One of the best beds i've slept in a super close to the city and kangaroo beaches.

Absolutely fabulous. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Rooms are gorgeous, comfy beds. The food at the restaurant is so amazing, best chicken I've ever had. Perfect place if you want to relax and unwind. Would recommend this place. 10/10

What an amazing place to stay! Staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room is modern, the bed is very comfy and the view of the lake from our window/balcony is just beautiful! We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning to this affordable, relaxing resort and spa!

Stayed overnight as part of a quick coastal trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Furnishings were up to date. Shower was good, though the water mixer was a little stiff. Will definitely come back again to try out the rest of their facilities.

We were lucky enough to book a stay here on short notice. The location was easy to find, the staff friendly and courteous, and the room was fantastic. We cannot find anything negative at all about our stay. We certainly will be staying here again and highly recommend it as a great value. Thanks again for everything.

I couldn't understand how this placed called a resort and rated 4 stars. The place is full of mosquitos you can go in and out of your room without running and turning your lights off, there is also outside siting which is only 2 chair and you can't even go out. The management was so rud and disrespectfull. The pool wasn't safe my mum actually fell down, because of the cleaners trolley was in the middle of the coridor me and my 2 months old baby nearly felling down. Our experience with this premises was very bad and they did't even do anything to make us feel better. I totally not recommend this place to anyone to stay.

Great little find clean and good value.

My recent visit to Lincoln Downs was fantastic. The rooms have been recently renovated and look immaculate. Wonderfully presented and very comfortable. I found the staff to be most helpful from check in through to the restaurant. Briars restaurant is a destination in itself. Very well priced for some very high end style food. I had the steak, soup special and a chocolate pudding with house made raspberry Gelato. Very nice indeed. The locator is great too with many rooms overlooking the private lake/dam and also very handy to the Centre of town. Recommended for couples and families alike. Will definitely be back at next opportunity.

This is definitely a great place to stay and dine. Beautiful rooms, great service, the restaurant food was delicious with a great selection of wines. The day spa massage treatment was so relaxing.

What a great time we had here. This place is a five star resort with a four star badge, very well priced. Best place I have stayed on the south coast. The food was out of this world so hats off to the chef. The rooms were immaculate with the best day spa around. This place is the closest resort on the south coast to Canberra. We will be back for sure.

New Rooms and Restaurant, Perfect, Tranquil, Excellent Food, Like a metropolitan 5 star except they have a sculpture on their private Lake — New owners I guess.

How the hell Lincoln Downs was awarded four stars is beyond me. On the surface, a nice place that has not been kept up. It's faded and showing it's age. The less the owners can get away with the better as far as they're concerned. We have stayed there a few times over recent years as it's probably the best that Batemans Bay has to offer. Twelve months ago I ate at their restaraunt and for the first time in my ageing life had to return the meal as inedible. They'ed obviously sacked the chef and hired a second rate cook, who couldn't. Would I stay there again? probably, but wouldn't eat there.

Not often you stumble on a jewel of a place where all the element of great hospitality come together. Lincoln Downs has comfort, ambience, a gorgeouds private lake, peacocks strutting around, a games room and pool for the kids. And Briars Restaurant. Wow. Must be one of the best in NSW. Worth a stay.
