We stayed here for a night this week and would like to thank the chef and all the other staff for a very pleasant stay. We would highly recommend the restaurant the chef was amazing. Our dinner was perfect and equal to any top restaurants. Thank you again for a pleasant stay.

100% praises for the generous hospitality at Sunseeker Motel. We are evacuees from disastrous bush fires and the hosts opened their entire motel to evacuees even with their pets. We were looked after with such friendliness and service. At normal times too, we recommend a stay. The motel will always be recommended by us to travellers. Thank you Alan and Rebecca and staff. Btw. Food good too.

Comfortable rooms, very clean very well appointed.

Lovely food… oysters followed by eye fillet steak. Washed down with a G +T. Now time for bed x.

Room was ok bed wasn't the most comfortable, internet logged in but didn't work. But you get what you pay for.

Would not stay again or recommend to anyone due to poor service and very rude front desk lady. I asked for an extra toilet paper roll and she made it an issue? Paying $135 a night and made an issue about getting another toliet paper roll I dont understand? And by poor service meaning our room had a broken toilet seat and she told me we cant do anything about this tonight which I totally understand but this is why hotel and motels have house cleaning services and do checks to report anything to avoid any unhappy customers. Didnt even offer to put us is another room as there was plenty of vacant rooms available. Very upsetting as room was great and updated just poor customer service and lack of maintenance.

I stay in a lot of hotels and motels for work. Definitely won’t be staying here again. Stayed overnight on way through. Paid for an apparently upgraded room. Don’t know what was upgraded about it. Mattress was cheap thin and very firm but they told me it was a new pillow top. Room had very dated decor and smelled musty. The worst part was the food ordered through room service from the restaurant. I couldn’t even eat it despite being quite hungry. It was awful and expensive. This place is well past it’s prime and is very expensive for what it is. These people need to stay in equivalently priced places so that they can see for themselves. Or get Gordon Ramsay to help them. The problem is that they will read this and get really defensive and go into denial. There’s potential here but they need to be willing and able to change or drop their prices to reflect their reality.

Far from the city but at the sea-side. Simple, agreeable, just what you need if you have a car…

The Best Western at Batemans Bay is a small but lovely hotel and an ideal place to stop on the coastal drive. Our room was spacious and clean and the manager Alan was really helpful. Hearing our British accents he asked about our drive and took the time to point out some nice places to stop down the coast and the best places to see what we wanted. The breakfast room was peaceful and well managed and nothing seemed too much trouble…would certainly stay here again.

Trappers Restaurant well worth the visit. I had a beautiful steak — the sort you can cut with a fork — while my dining partner had lovely, moist chicken. If you can't manage great steak and chicken you shouldn't be in the restaurant game. Wine list well priced. If you are visiting the Bay (or live here) do yourself a favour and try it out.

Room was clean and quiet. Great for a quick overnight getaway. Would stay again.

We booked into a Queen Executive Room… For the price… was not impressed. Little TV we ended up swapping with our own … dated room needs a facelift… stayed for 3 nights and floor never got vacuumed while we were there so build up of fluff, crumbs etc around the table area … doesn't that come with the room when it gets made up each day? … if not, it should!. Especially if it obviously looks like it needs it… the tape holding the towel rack together in the bathroom looked tacky and the massive gap under the front door meant we had to put a towel down to stop mozzies from coming in! Lastly, placed a pillow on top of the wardrobe and when I pulled it off it was so dirty, covered in a heap of dust and fluff! Eeeeww! Upside… the spa was great! … and room well insulated from the road traffic. Only positives I can say about the place really.

Just ok. Internet access was poor. Rooms were adequate and staff was nice. An ok choice due an overnight stay.

First, the good: excellent location just off the Princes Highway. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. The bad: in a hotel with 30+ rooms, why would you put the only two guests in adjoining rooms? Rooms can be noisy (two windows don’t make double-glazing). Free Wi-Fi, but you need to request it from reception (good luck if late at night). Marks for trying, none for getting it right.

The restaurant service is impeccable, the rooms clean and the room extras are a welcome surprise.

Room was comfy. Now the bad points. Got a spa room for our last night away so mrs could relax before heading home. She filled the spa and turned it on to find pubic hair and body fat and dirt coming through the pipes. On me notifying them the told us it gets clean every day. I hv a spa and that one hadn't been cleaned propped for weeks. Mrs was crying and try to clean her self. No mention of compensation. Never going back.

We were able to get a room at the last minute. I think this was because it is further away from the waters edge. But needing to go out for dinner, the owner drove us the The Reef restaurant and back to the hotel again. The room was beautiful and lage. It was not the highest level of rooms but that didn't matter. It was lage and very clean and comfy with a queen bed and love seat and table and chairs for a meal if needed. Also had a desk, refrigerator and toaster and water kettle. Everything you could need.

Clean. Friendly service. Well insulated from main road traffic, it needs to be. Good location in Batemans Bay.

Great location for a stopover when driving long distance. Excellent service at reception … Lovely folk. Great breakfast and evening meals available in restaurant.

The room was clean and spacious. The Wi-Fi codes made me feel like I was checking in to a hotel near the DefCon 5 conference for security specialists. Otherwise, the experience was good.

Great stay. Staff were fantastic and with brilliant food and comfortable accommodation. Recomended to anyone that wants a relaxing and affordable stay with lasting memories. Well done to a family with 20 years experience that shows.

Staying at the hotel for a wedding in Batemans Bay and was disappointed on so many levels. Firstly when we arrived we were told that the credit card payment paid months prior was declined (no effort was made to inform us) and we had to upgrade and pay extra due to lack of rooms. Then we were told we had to leave $100 deposits on the rooms and the rooms had to be examined before getting our money returned, a practice I have never experienced before which made me feel like a criminal. The website implies that Wi-Fi and free breakfast is available when in fact it is additional.
