Fantastic place to stay, couldn't fault a thing. Stayed for 5 nights with all of our families for my sisters 60th, rooms are clean, modern and fully self contained. Right on the beach with a pool and BBQ area. Thankyou Nyssa, we all had a great time.

A really beautiful place to stay, not to big, still personal enough. Great for groups por extended families, or of course individuals & couples as well.
Highly recommend it. We had such a good time.

This place was a perfect spot to stay for the weekend! Like stepping back in time to a resort in the 1980’s but in the best way possible.
Resort is older but it’s super clean, stocked with everything you need including bbq equip and pool toys etc.
Kids didn’t touch an iPad.
The people who run it Sue and Peter were super friendly and just have done a magnificent job.
Gardens are beautiful and right on the beach 10/10

Has everything you need in the apartment. Can hear the waves as the beach is just behind the bushes. 10 min drive to moonee beach shops. Great pool and bbq area.

Extremely clean, when we got here I went over everything with a white cloth because of the covid pandemic and it didn't have one spec of dust let alone anything else and I even cleaned the lounges and nothing. Lovely quiet place, pool area is nice with a bbq and kitchen area. You can hear the waves crashing from your room. The beds are so soft and comfy. Will be coming back here to stay for sure.

Great furnishings and comfy beds And the shower head is fantastic, can actually wash shampoo out of your hair!
And they are covid aware — sanitizer dispenser in office and beside pool/bbq area and soap/shampoo dispensers in room and shower.

Where else can you sit and hear the ocean breaking whilst lying in bed in a well appointed apartment — we will definitely be back and highly recommend.

We had the most amazing stay. The owners are so lovely and have thought of everything. Even having washing powder in the laundry for those who forget to bring their own.
You are a few minutes drive to everything you need. Which is perfect when you want peace and quiet for relaxing after your busy day.
The Pool and BBQ area is perfect for your family gatherings.
I love falling asleep listening to the waves crashing. And going for my morning walk on the beach which is about 20m away.
Definitely coming back!

Had An Awesome Two Night Stay, Perfectly Located in a Quiet Beachfront Location, but only a Very Short Drive to Coffs For Dinner or Shopping… Great Spacious Clean Rooms and Awesome Pool/BBQ Area… Highly Recommended and we Will Be back for Sure…

What an amazing place to stay I have stayed at many places before and not one has come close to this place with in regards to cleanliness, ammenities in the apartments was awesome we did not need to ask for anything, bbq area was amazing and definitely would come back.

Stayed 2 nights, great location, very quiet.

Great location, good after hours service and huge tidy apartments with everything you would need. Only a five minute drive to the shops. Beds aren’t very comfortable though, especially if you are sharing the double. But overall a good experience!

Smugglers on the beach is absolutely beautiful, I just recently stayed there for 5 nights which was perfect, staff is lovely the whole resort is lovely and so pretty, I feel so comfortable staying here, to top of my holiday myself and my beautiful partner went for a walk along the beach, and then too a lookout, very unexpectedly I turned around and my amazing man was down on one knee telling me he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and of course asked me to marry him I said YES OBVIOUSLY! Was so good experiencing this wonderful adventure and thankyou to SHANNON FROM SMUGGLERS for being helpful and always being bright with a smile on his face. ❤

Smugglers on the Beach is wonderful, this is our 3rd stay. They are really great Units comfortable, ours looks over there terrific pool heated & all. Wfi available as well. So all the comforts you would wantThis trip we are here for 5 nights, thrilled☺

Very nice place, nice location.

Nice quiet location just outside of Coffs Harbour, but beware there is nowhere to buy food or drink in the bay. The hotel is old, But very well maintained. The rooms are huge with new carpets and paint, and comfortable beds. We arrived late on a Saturday and left early on a Sunday so didn’t see the staff in person, but they were a pleasure to deal with on the phone.

Has a really nice beach close by that you can easily walk to. This beach has really cool rocks that you can run around on. Also Smugglers on the beach has tennis courts and a pool with free movies to watch whenever you want.

Standard apartments. Clean although the ants were on the march in the kitchen. Nice listening to the waves at night and right on the beach (no view due to the foreshore vegetation). No life saving club on the beach so not really safe for swimming. More pebbles than sand on the beach. Location is a long way from any convenience store or any shops. No good without a car. Need to drive to Coffs, Moonee or Emerald beach for a swim. Nice walks on the beach.

Very good place to stay. Awsome rooms to stay in, very quiet and the facilities are top notch.

Beautiful spot. Beach a short stroll straight out the back. Could hear the crashing waves all night. Gorgeous! And what a great beach. Best ocean shots here. Not a patrolled beach and quite rough, but lovely for kids to play in edge of waves. Lots of different coloured and sized rocks and pebbles. Boys built small fortresses on the sand. Couldnt see beach from apartment due to thick scrub but no big deal. Bbq/pool area so lovely. All the things you need, even a kettle for a cuppa by the pool. Rooms were a bit dated and a few things broken — tiles, towel racks, light bulbs need changing, wall clocks need batteries but nothing dangerous or really worrisome. We noticed the property is for sale so may explain. Rooms were massive and kitchen cupboards fully stocked with containers, cooking equipment — more than in any place we've stayed in before. The machines in laundry were free! And laundry detergent in apartments also free. So glad didnt have to run around looking for gold coins to put in machines! We will definitely come back here.

Great peaceful environment, good beach and cliff top walks, not patrolled for swimming, beware rips, strong currnet, steep drop off. Pretty good fishing.

Close to the beach, quiet and secluded. Nice little pool with a BBQ area and gazebo for the occasional dinner in.

A great hotel right next to the beach. Really comfortable and colourful decor. And it's in a great location. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed 4 nights in 2bed apartment was great location right on the beach great pool covered by Trees for slight shade, pool BBQ area was great. Beds weren't the best but other than that had a fantastic stay. Close to big banana/Coffs harbour without being overcrowded. Recommend! Stay away from butterfly shop in Coffs waste of money for a small room of butterfly's and a maze that leads to nothing. Save your money.

It's a bit dated but still an enjoyable place to stay. Costs are also reasonable too.

Excellent holiday! The service, location and amenities were amazing! Would gladly come back again and again. Shannon is especially awesome to talk to, he helped alot.

So disappointed in the greediness of this business! I accidentally booked the wrong date (booked for that night on the night when trying to book for Christmas). I had booked at this motel online and rang Expedia within 10 mins who contacted the motel and asked to stop the transaction, the motel said 'bad luck' as they had lost out on a booking. This is absolutely ridiculous as they would have been able to advertise again as it was within 10 minutes. They were contacted again the next day and they still refused stating it was past the checkout date (even though I rang within 10 mins). We had been saving for a holiday up the coast as my toddler is having heart surgery in January and will be not be able to travel for some months. Disgusted at their behaviour!

Great location, huge apartment. Great facilities — a perfect place for a holiday.

It was an ideal place for us to stay on our journey from Sydney to Noosa. The apartment was spacious & comfortable with every facility including a washing machine & tumble dryer which was a godsend.
Perfect if food was available on site, but we were told to shop before we arrived & the kitchen had everything we needed.
A beautiful beach on the doorstep & a gem to now buy if you have money & entrepreneurial skills.!

We stayed for 4 days on our way up to QLD and then 3 days in our way back. The apartment we had was nice & clean and had a fabulous balcony overlooking the pool. Everything you need in the kitchen is supplied, you just need to bring your own food. You are so close to the beach you can hear the waves crashing. Nice & close to Coffs Harbour and far enough away from the hubbub to be nice & relaxing. Will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely love coming here, great apartment, great staff, great location, only downfall is that other guest don't acknowledge the 8.30 cut off for the pool area and at times can be quiet noisy.

We stayed here recently and loved it. Very reasonably priced, rooms were large and well equipped, no traffic noise. There was a nice grassed area for kids to play, kick a ball or just lay a towel or blanket and relax. We didn't use the tennis court, pool or any other amenities as it was a little too cool and we were only there for a couple of days.
My only things to consider would be that on a map it looks like a nice walk to the big banana, however it is very hilly and not something I would attempt with children. Also that there is no cafe, shop, etc walking distance.

Stayed here just after Christmas with another family. We had upstairs rooms next to each other, it was lovely with one room having BBQ and an outdoor area. Pool just downstairs and easy walk to the beaches. Great spot for families.

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights in the school holidays. It was great to have a clean and comfortable unit to stay in that was so close to the beach and was quiet and not overcrowded. The beach was not suitable for swimming during our stay, but was great to explore and would be fine for swimming on a calm day. We swam at diggers around the corner and at Emerald Beach north of Coffs. There are no shops or cafes in Korora itself, but that meant it was very quiet and no added tourist. The Units were a great size and would fit a family of 5 nicely. We cooked each night and used the greatly equipped BBQ area around the pool. There were balls/bats/pool toys and games available for free use. A guest laundry with free supply of detergent for guests. The Free Wi-Fi didn't always work for us, but we were the furthest unit from reception area. The pool was small and had a shallow baby pool with great shade. However, we only spent the late afternoons at the pool and was plenty big enough for the amount of guests that were staying. I would totally recommend staying here again.

Room was clean and fresh. Pool was clean and address clean and tidy. Right behind the dunes on the beach, can hear the waves crashing in the background which is soothing. Had a great stay.

We find the Smugglers location quiet and peaceful, the property is well maintained and the apartments "roomy " and comfortably equipped.

Simple and nice. And good value for $. The place, when first entering was like your run of the mill motel look. There was a deeper "home" feel to it … in a positive way. But when it got dark and you turned on the lights — — thats where the room took on an entirely new classy look. They really did a good job on the lighting, which intensified the warmth of the place. A ceiling fan by day became a beautiful moving chandelier. The kitchen that looked like a utilitarian work horse, with the lights on, turned into a warm place where good things like hot chocolate and marshmallows were made. We really liked the Master Bedroom which … again by day looked functional but by night was really inviting and friendly like. D The only drawback I guess was the single bathroom, which was a little dingy and it was clear you weren’t meant to invest long epic reads in there. The staff was extremely friendly, and were I to guess, I’d say it was a family owned enterprise as there was a feel of really caring for this place. The name of the establishment is really good too… kids imagination brought to life. Beach access was pretty easy though its not so much a swimming beach as a walking, stare-out-to-see with deep thoughts kind of beach.

Excellent unit with all mod cons. Clean and spacious. Second time have stayed at Smugglers and is preferred choice of accommodation in Coffs area.

Had a great time, very relaxing and the resort was always clean. The pool was just the perfect temperature, a hidden gem.

What a great place. Very nice unit lots of room for a family holiday. The pool area was a great spot to relax, have a swim and cook a meal on the B. B. Q. Will tell our friends about this lovely area. Will be back for a longer stay.

We had a great time staying at Smugglers. Our apartment was well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. All the facilities that we'd need travelling with a young family were available — a great swimming pool and paddling pool, wonderful bbq area. Smugglers is situated in easy distance to travel to all that Coffs and surrounding areas has to offer (by car).

The help I received from Sandy was outstanding, this lady goes out of her way to make sure that you have everything you need. I can not praise the help and assistance that I received. People thought that customer service was dead. Not at Smugglers on the Beach.

Lovely little relaxed paradise for a chilled couple of days. Away from the Coffs central but, close enough to go anywhere. A stone's throw from the beach was perfection! Thoroughly renovated and modern and fully self contained with everything you could need with a beach feel was bright and breezy. Free and easy! You could hear the waves breaking on the beach which was very relaxing. Good for the soul. The salty smell from the beach was heaven for the mind! We had a fantastic break away at Smugglers.

We enjoyed our stay at Smugglers. A lovely very clean apartment with everything supplied. And also the items supplied in the barbeque area. Everything you could want. We appreciated the very good comfortable bed, which was great for my bad back. Highly recommend.

Staying out of peak season we didnt get to have the full summer experience but we really loved this place — clean newish rooms, well kept, close to the beach, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous location, the Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our unit was fantastic, everything you could want was on hand and very clean and tidy, the furnishings were lovely. Home away from home. Thankyou Smugglers, we will be back.
