The room was very clean and warm, bed was comfortable, shower was fabulous, food was Absoultely amazing in the restaurant and both food and room was great value for money. Also the owners were very hospitable. Will be staying there again.

The Parkview Hotel is about 1.5 km from the main part of town. The rooms are roughly 4m x 6M, with a small shower/toilet area. The rooms have tea/coffee facilities & some have a microwave. The bed was good, parking is easy — all ground level units. From here is it about 22km to the CSIRO's Radio Telescope — as seen in 'The Dish', which was made around here. This is close to a 5 hour drive from Sydney.

Always stay here on our trips to and from qld to vic, vic to qld. Owners are lovely and very welcoming. Prices are great.

It's only basic, but works as a place to stop for the night. There was a bit of highway noise, but not enough to keep you awake. The towels and sheets were clean, although the carpet was a bit sticky. Just don't stick your fingers into the turtle's tank…

Great rooms, great shower water pressure. (Really strong) and great food. The Chicken Schnitzel was amazing. Beds were a bit short with sheets tucked in bit I'm tall so not too bad. A really good time.

Great little roadside stop. Mick was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Comfortable motel room with very friendly staff. Great for a quick overnight stay, not luxurious but acceptable room standard and very well priced.

Had a couple of comfy chairs to sit in, the shower wasn't very big but that's not a massive deal, the bed was comfortable. E location is probably the best part since it's very easy to find.

Lovely room, lovely pool, lovely staff, great air con. Definately will stay again our next time in Parkes.

Great room friendly service, only negative I can pick was there were missing cuttlery and plates in the room, this was not an issue as we were only staying overnight.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and perfect place to stay if travelling tge Newell Hwy.

Friendly check-in, great prices, good room amenities/set-up/size for family, off-street parking, bed pillows a bit hard but otherwise a top motel. Would definitely stay again.

Located on the south side of Parkes within walking distance of the town centre. Clean and tidy room with all the usual amenities including car window wash facilities. Plenty of parking especially for trailers and caravans etc. Good value for money. Friendly hosts.

The most friendly service you will ever experience! My partner and I are currently driving from Brisbane home to Tasmania and needed somewhere to stay after driving 12 hours! Parkview were extremely helpful when we advised them that we wouldn't be able to make it until late at night! We arrived at 11pm after driving from the Gold Coast and our room was ready for us with the heater on! Exactly what we needed after all day on the road. Thank you so much Parkview! Our hero!

This place was awesome. Not new but they have put in new bathrooms which were fantastic. The proprietors were awesome and very helpful. Def going back here next trip!

Could be alot cleaner with a little effort, Restaurant was VERY ordinary (Didn't cook properly) Overall Quality — 4/10 This place deserves 2 and 1/2 stars not 3 and 1/2 stars.

Great value. We had a 2 bedroom unit with extra sofa bed and kitchenette for about $145. Rooms spotless. Decor new and modern. Nicely painted and decorated. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a budget hotel. Heard new owners have made a lot of changes which are evident. Ignore any bad reports from last year and before.

Great. Older style on the South road out of town, so there's a bit of traffic noise, but good parking for those with trailers, and our host Julie was very pleasant. If cheap family accommodation is your need then this is excellent. Have stayed in really bad motels and paid more, and this is far from a bad motel. Would stay again for sure.

We stayed at the Parkview Parkes Easter Weekend and found the rooms comfortable and the staff fantastic could not fault the service. Would stay there again Kathy Roach.

The whole time I felt like was in a dirty dirty room. The room was not clean with rubbish under the lounge. The bathroom didn't drain leaving bathroom with a deep layer of water all the time. The beds were horrible. The pillows were not in shape and lumpy. The spare in cupboard smelt used. The paint was the only good thing and new tv. Cold water was hot for a few minutes until flushed. Lounge was uncomfortable. Linen was old and marked. Was told by many since the other side of town is great. If your working and by yourself this place might be ok, but the above explains the feeling.
