Stayed in the Willow Cottage for 3 nights as part of a family get together. Absolutely perfect accommodation. Super clean, cozy and so much provided. Stacey was so thoughtful and friendly (even when we lost our key which we later found 🤪). Can’t wait to return!

After having just about the more perfect little vacation, complete with wedding, I can honestly say I can't think of a better place to be than Evanslea for anyone looking to stay somewhere special in Mudgee. The house and grounds are lovely, and great for larger parties with children. The pool and outdoor bbq area is so nice to spend time together in and the house is big enough to hold 10+ people easily (and my brother and I have 6 kids between us, so room is important when we are sharing a place together! ). The cottages are beautifully done and have such an intimate feeling. As we rented out the entire place for the weekend Martin and I got to experience one of those for our wedding night, and it was just a perfect way to end our special day. Our wedding was held on the grounds, and included a wonderful reception in the marquee and adjacent garden area. Our guests got to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, relaxing in the garden bar or playing one of many outdoor games provided. It was such a perfect spot to watch the sunset and the fairy lights come on — and to have a drink or two while we all danced and sang really badly. I couldn't think of a better time spent for a wedding. Stacey was just amazing and did everything she could to help make it a memorable occasion for myself and Martin, our family and friends.

Could not recommend Evanslea highly enough for both their accomodation and as a wedding venue. The owners Phil and Stacey are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We stumbled across Evanslea when looking at wedding venues in Mudgee and we are incredibly glad that we did. We stayed there multiple times before the wedding and were treated to a cheese plate and bottle of wine on arrival each time. The accomodation is always cosy (especially with the fireplace in winter 😍) and clean and tidy. It has everything we needed to be able to do our own cooking or go out. There is literally nothing that hasn't been thought of that we'd need! As for our wedding we could not have been happier with the location and the service. We were able to get married by the river, have our photos in the beautiful gardens and have our reception in the marquee. The marquee and outside was set up magically by Phil, Stacey and the team with furniture outside for canapes and a beautiful set up with fairy lights under the marquee, wooden tables and a beautiful wooden bar. Everything ran so smoothly on the night, a huge credit to Stacey and Phil for making sure that it did. Stacey was also available to take my many phone calls prior to the wedding which I am so appreciative of. I am so so glad that we stumbled across this hidden gem in Mudgee and would give it more than 5 stars if I could, for both the accomodation and as a wedding venue!

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in the willow cottage. Stacey went above and beyond to look after us as we were on our honeymoon. One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. A Private cottage overlooking the ornamental lake and beautiful gardens.

What a wonderful experience — My husband and I decided to elope so we booked 2 nights accomodation at Evanslea and had our Wedding Ceremony on the beautiful grounds. From the luxury and comfort of our private accommodation overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens with ponds full of wildlife. The cottage was well-appointed and supremely comfortable, clean ‘home away from home’. Stacey and Phil couldn't help us enough throughout our whole stay. Locally made cheeses, fresh bread and wine chilling in the fridge. Thank you Stacey and Phil for being witnesses for our wedding and for Phil agreeing to walk me down the aisle. You helped make our wedding day the best day of our life. I cannot thank Stacey and Phil enough for their generous hospitality. Accomodation and hospitality is 5 STAR. We will definitely be returning — a great place and really nice people. I highly recommend staying at Evanslea Luxury Boutique, Mudgee.

Such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Owner Stacey goes above and beyond to look after guests and ensures you have everything you need. We stayed in the lodge which was decorated beautifully! It’s romantic, relaxing, peaceful, comfortable, thoughtful and French country chic. It’s just like I imagined it would be in person. Already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend!

I can not recommend evanslea luxury boutique mudgee any more if I tried, the hospitaliaty provided by Stacey and Phil has been beyond amazing, the estate is unbeilveably stunning, and they have gone above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing, stress free and enjoyable, 5 stars is not enough for this amazing place in mudgee! thus year has been horrendous both physically and mentally and this little getaway in mudgee and at evanslea was just what was needed, thankyou Stacey and Phil keep up the amazing work.

We stayed two nights this week in the Loft Suite. The room is absolutely beautiful and the owners have thought of absolutely everything in terms of comfort and amenities to make your stay enjoyable. It certainly lives up to its reputation as Luxury Boutique
Accommodation. Our host Jodi was extremely pleasant and accommodating making our stay even more enjoyable. Evanslea is highly recommended to anyone wanting an relaxing break.

Beautiful place, our favourite accommodation in Mudgee.

The cottage was beautiful and so cute. The gardens are immaculate. There was cheese and wine. They delivered sour dough and muesli for breakfast. Staff very welcoming. The bed and open fire most comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Such a wonderful friendly host, Stacey was so accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Spectacular location, accommodation was divine I'll definitely be back.

We got married at Evanslea but have also stayed for a weekend. The accomodation offers the most amazing surroundings that to this day we still have friends & family comment on how beautiful our wedding was here. Evanslea offered us the perfect location for our kids to enjoy our special day as much as we did. From the trees that surround you, to the pond that your four legged friends can swim in — Evanslea is the perfect home away from home and the ultimate wedding venue that encapsulate all the memories of your day.

Evanslea is such a cute getaway with the best hosts. Unfortunately with corona virus alot of the wineries and cafes were shut during our stay and only doing takeout. Stacey was amazing always offering whatever she could do to help. She picked us up takeaway a few nights and bought it to our door as well as supplying bacon and eggs for a lovely brekkie, and of course plenty of wine and cheese! She also gave us heaps of suggestions for other things to do. We especially loved having a few wines in the spa bath, with Netflix as well as a kitchen the same size as the one in my unit, there was no need to go anywhere anyway. Even with the closures this was an amazing place to getaway to for a long weekend and my boyfriend and I can't wait to come back to Mudgee and stay again soon!

Evanslea house is perfect for groups with four immaculately appointed guestrooms, well equipped kitchen and multiple sitting rooms to sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. Stacey arranged everything from massages on arrival, complimentary bottle of wine and sparkling, wine tour with private tastings, dinner bookings and transport. There's plenty to do without leaving Evanslea with stunning gardens, ponds and a riverside fire bucket to enjoy. A perfect place for winter relaxation.

The most amazing accommodation, stunning grounds and welcoming hosts. Stacey and Phil organised our wine tours, in house massages and dinner reservations. We loved everything at Evanslea. A very special place!

We stayed in the Willow cottage which has a lovely decking overlooking a beautiful water feature. The cottage was warm and comfortable and set in gorgeous gardens. Lovely cheese and wine on arrival.

My husband and I along with our 18 month year old stayed for a few nights in the Gardeners cottage.
The cottage was warm, cosy, beautiful and the perfect size for a little family. We were happily greeted upon arrival along with some lovely red wine and yummy cheese to start our holiday with and not to mention a nice cosy fireplace lit up to warm the room! Stacey was soo accommodating, right from the start. I booked the few nights for my husbands 30th and right away I was looked after. I was unsure what date to go with as it was a surprise gift. And Stacey was so willing to work with me and book a date that suited us even when I changed it a few times! Also my little girl become sick and Stacey was so helpful even offering to bring us dinner and medicine! So kind and thoughtful The whole place was mesmerising, the gardens are well maintained and are so lovely to walk around in! My daughter even got to feed the horse next door which she absolutely loved! Thanks Stacey for the pear The room was very clean, neat and had beautiful antique furniture and comfy grand bed. I can’t fault the place in any way, we had a great stay! And will be back very soon, hopefully this year even! Thanks Stacey, Phil and team.

We stayed at Evanslea for my 40th birthday weekend last October. Beautiful accommodation and such pretty surrounding gardens!
Hosts were so lovely, friendly and hospitable — leaving us some delicious treats, a cheese platter and a bottle of wine for our stay. Would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a special weekend away.

Simply exquisite travel experience.

Phil & Stacey are 2 of the best people we have met. By coincidence we came across Evanslea last year because my now wife, our dog & I wanted to get away from Syd for a couple weeks over Christmas & New Years, ended up being the best experience we've had. So great that we came back for Valentine's day weekend to elope! Phil & Stacey went above & beyond to make our weekend amazing. Phil did so much work to the grounds & Stacey pretty much organised every little detail of our wedding, all we had to do was pick our outfits and show up! They even brought dressed up Hope to be a furry date for our crazy best man Chilli. I can easily say we're probably the only people that had a 100% stress free wedding thanks to them. We are definately coming back every time we can get away from our busy lives. You guys are doing amazing things! Love your work!
