It is a good motel very well liked.

Very basic and cheap but quite comfortable for a stopover. Not many facilities in the room. Helpful staff.

We arrived to 1 un made bed.
Our doona was torn and falling apart plus it had a stain on it.
Breakfast we were greeted very rudely.
Our room was not cleaned for the three days we were here.
Our rubbish was not taken out and the bed was never made. We had to request clean towels.
There was no barrier on the window and someone could easily have fall out of the window if it was open.
We used to recommend this motel to everyone, we’ve stayed many times but next time I think we will be looking for a new motel.

Clean and modern, not to small either, friendly staff too.

I stayed here and was quite happy with the stay, so I re-booked 12 mths in advance and asked a group of friends to also book the same place. I was given a great rate at the time. Didn't realise that my debit Card was being charged up front as it wasn't last time. Within 24hrs of finding that my card was charged and declined (Its a top up card) I called to pay and was told my booking had been cancelled and now they wanted 50% higher rate. Scam? You see they realised there is a motorcycle event on that weekend. The General Manager Katherine refused to honour my original booking, was rude and sarcastic so they lost my and my friends patronage. It's true that one rude employee can affect your business. I would suggest a promotion for the lovely reception lady that worked 10-11th May 2019, she has better people skills.

2 of us travelling, we are not a couple, was told when booking that there was a bunk set up in the room. Open the door to the room to see 1 queen bed. Carpet is filthy throughout, shower heads falling apart, room door does not automatically close/lock. They book people with disabilities onto the 1st floor, with no lift & no offer of assistance to help get a suitcase up to the room.
never again. Really expected more from an accor hotel.
Update, the on call manager came & spoke to me & moved us into a more suitable room. Thank You Kindly.

Ibis is well positioned in town, close to food and services. Our room was freshly renovated and comfortable. Parking snd internet are free and breakfast not too expensive.

Great hot showers. Near McDonald's, Hungry Jacks, Tai restaurant and petrol stations on the main road. Nice clean rooms.

I’m extremely disappointed in the room size, the condition of the carpet was very outdated and had numerous burn marks in it. The walls were very dirty, a leg in the queen size mattress was broken and it was exceptionally uncomfortable to get a decent sleep on. The bed consists of summer sheets and one light blanket, so for winter it was very cold. The activity during the night was very loud. After very limited sleep I’m reluctant to stay again. For the money I paid for the room I was expecting more than what I got. No shelving, no power points to use. Only provided throw away coffee cups. These are the reasons for such a poorly rated review.

Good enough for what we needed. Clean, small and cheap. The small fridge was better than some we have had in resorts, made a big difference in being ready for the next day.

The hotel is fine for what it is. It's a budget Ibis so if you go in with basic expectations you will be happy. Small room but more than enough for what we needed.

Reasonable quality with the price tag. Conveniently located next to Hungry Jack, bottle shop and very close to BP petrol station. Reception closes at 10pm but you can pick up the keys from the keeper if arrangements were made prior. Free parking on site. Breakfast at hotel at reasonable price of $9. Has vending machine and laundry machine. Room is basic has shower and TV, kettle. Towels are provided. Bring your own shampoo. Accor Hotel Group this hotel does not participate in reward programme.

The hotel needs renovation. The carpet was dirty and stained. The room was not cleaned properly. (Stains on the carpet, wall, sheets, behind the toilet roll holder and even on the ceiling. Dust underneath the bunk bed and a used paddle pop stick on the skirting board. ) Even after speaking to the GM, the room was dirty and the sheets stained. The family room was so small, that there was hardly room to move. There was not one single hook in the room, nor any shelving to put our clothes. The only (small) shelf was in the bathroom, above the toilet. The location was good, but I would not stay at that hotel again.

Omg never again! Arrived just before midnight to police and plain clothes raiding a room and arresting someone out in the back car park! Would have left if it wasn’t so late. Room smelt, stains on the old disgusting carpet. Felt like a hospital, hostel or Psych ward. Staff were friendly & thank god the bed was actually comfy even tho we covered the pillows & checked for bed bugs — never ever again would we stay here!

Nice and inexpensive, a bit noisy in the rooms as the corridors are not noise proofed but no traffic noise but otherwise great location.

Nice place to stay. No lift it's major challenge to carry luggage in stairs. Only cold breakfast is served. Have hungry John's outside the hotel.

Good if your on a budget. Hungry Jacks is walking distance and petrol stations across the road. Late check in and early check out are also great if leaving early.

Very clean, comfortable bed, air-conditioned room. Great value for money. Also very friendly smiley staff. Best morning breakfast by far! Freshly made pancakes, orange juice, toast, ECT! Loved my experience!

Budget accommodation, old a/c and small room but can't complain for the money. Was a quick stop over before getting on the road again, otherwise would choose something more comfortable. There is a pool though!

Check-in was fast and efficient. Reception person was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Room was small but clean. Price was right. Bonus $1 buffet b'fast when booked online.

Nice bugdet motel close to the city. Can't fault it much but think it would be good having other power points to charge devices. I had to use one across the room next to the bar fridge otherwise bring an extension cord.

Awesome staff, great price. Rooms are tiny, but that's fantastic for the air conditioning system. Need door to a bottle shop and hungry jacks.

Location is good. Right next to a great pub. Friendly staff. The room was comfortable, needed more pillows.

Thanks Geoff/Jeff (? ) and Kathy on reception. Geoff worked persistently over multiple phone calls to solve a booking issue that Expedia caused for me. The knowledge of the business and tireless politeness demonstrated remarkable professionalism and restored my faith in Ibis. Kathy provided caring and accurate advice on after hours arrivals. This hotel has staff who go out of their way to deliver on everything they advertise, no matter how small the sale.

Very nice and clean. Lady who checked us in was really helpful at the end of a long day traveling. Next to Hungry Jacks for tea. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Spacious ensuite. Lots of parking.

Family rooms weren't really family friendly. No table to eat dinner at, no beside table, fridge was too small. Didnt enjoy our stay at all. Wouldnt recommend it to any families to stay there.

Our room was too small with the appropriate luggage; One can also say useless. In this size it should only be rented as a single room. The shower curtain is far too short, so the tiny bath is soaking weted while showering. Prefer to spend 10-20 a $ more, there are enough motels in Dubbo.

Simple accomodation with pretty much everything you need. Central location and has a pool. Friendly, helpful staff… we even received free chocolates and bottled water with a handwritten card from management wishing us a Happy Anniversary :) would definitely stay again if ever in Dubbo.

This hotel is very basic comfortable bed but no amenities in the bathroom except for soap. Staff were friendly and room was clean. A budget hotel with a good price.

Plus side: lovely lady at reception was very friendly at check in and most obliging when I asked for extra pillows. The bed was really comfortable and the room very clean. Motel was an easy 15 minute walk into shopping centre and food outlets. Good parking. Minus: Room very small. Doors banging continuously late into the night and early morning kept us awake. Shower flooded the entire bathroom floor because the shower curtain was far too short. Note on the door said to keep the bathroom door closed when showering! Bedside lights were the only lights in the room and could only be turned on or off at the door or at 1 side of the bed only. No lift if you are above ground floor which could make it difficult for some people. Only ABC and shopping channels were suitable to watch. All other channels kept breaking up.

Surprised that we had room service as price is very reasonable; friendly helpful staff. For the price you pay, the hotel exceeded our expectation. Good value.

Room was clean neat and tidy had all the essentials. However, felt the room was the closest thing to a prison cell. Everything was bolted down and secure. Cheap overnight stay but for an extra few bucks could have gotten a much more friendly accommodation. Staff nice friendly and helpful, no complaints there.

All these unfortunate people leaving positive reviews… Makes me sad to think what lives they must live to think of this as a positive experience. Just a few hours of being forced to stay in this place after no other accomodation was available at short notice has given me a vague urge to jump out the window to my death just to escape this prison.

A very good place to stay. I have now used this place 3 times now. The hotel behind is a great place to relax after work. Great food for a good price.

Stayed on the 29th April. Good facilities for the price. Best part was the lady at the reception who went out of the way to suggest good take out places and resturants after our long drive from adelaide to dubbo. Quick check in and check out process. While the hotel is a budget place, maybe provide a couple of milk pods for morning coffee in the room. Overall great for a short stay.

Unfortunately the cleanliness is not up to scratch. I know this is a budget hotel so was not expecting 5* however there was 2 lots of toilet paper stuck to the bathroom ceiling, hair on the floor and the toilet paper holder had dust all over it and looks as though it had never been cleaned. Hotel feels like it has never been renovated. Beds are comfortable. I cannot comment on other facilities as we arrived at midnight and left at 8am. Would I stay again… No.

After long drive from Brisbane it was perfect clean room, excellent service the staff are amazing and very helpful, nice hot shower will definitely recommend and stay again.

Excellent service by all. Clean facilities and awesome value including free internet. Close to many eating places and supermarket. In room amenities for a family room were kettle with tea, coffee, and fridge. Flat screen TV and clock radio. Hot water which came fast. Pillows were thin for me so doubled up and requested more blankets. Brought own hair dryer; not sure if they lent it. Well recommended!

The staff were very rude, not helpful at all. The worst motel experience ever would have rather spent the night sleeping in the car on the side of the road.

Yes, it's a budget hotel, so don't expect maybe and a massive spa, but all if the staff I had contact with there were very friendly and went above and beyond. Amazing customer service, they made us feel like VIPs. I wish some of the higher end places I've been too had service and friendliness like this.

Very nice and clean hotel. Even though it's only 2 stars, it is on a par with or even better than some of the 3 star hotels I've stayed in recently. The room was on the large side and there was even a pool at the motel. It's close to the main road through town, but not noisy. There's a pub for good meals just around the corner, too.

Stopped in this hotel on our way to Melbourne. Cheap rates, handy lication. However room was filthy. There was pubic hairs in the bathroom area on the walls, the doona was full of stains and the carpet had white stains by the bed and was very old and felt like it had never been cleaned. Personally I wouldnt recommend due to these factors.

Great place for a stop over, clean rooms. Great friendly service.
