Nice place to stay in Dubbo. Would be better with a lock on the bathroom door & a step to help getting in/out of the spa bath — shower combo, especially with young kids.

Clean room, right on the main road. Had a great meal. Will absolutely be back next time I come through!

Thanks Cattlemans for a great stay! My room was reasonably priced and very clean! I had to stay for work and managed to get quite a bit of work done thanks to the free Wi-Fi! The restaurant also had delicious food and the service was fantastic! If I come back to Dubbo I’ll definiteky be staying again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Good room and service. Had buffet breakfast both mornings which was good. Dined at the restaurant and it was nice atmosphere and good food. Definitely recommend it and we'll be back when next in Dubbo.

Very pleasant conference room used for infant CPR. Generous allowance use of the indoor heated swimming pool for casual babies swimming training. Lovely accommodating staff and beautiful building. Can't comment on the accommodation as I'm a local and have never stayed there all other experiences with the catalans have been brilliant.

Great motel room — has everything you need (TV, comfy beds, good toileting facilities, tables, couches, power points, daily room service). BUT: The Wi-Fi keeps cutting out and is virtually unusable. I can't comment on the price (because work paid for my stay (I'm on a business trip) ) but I would definitely recommend this place.

We're still experiencing our stay but so far so good. We got one of the new king size rooms and absolutely nothing to complain about. The room is in tip top condition and styled well. Don't know why the continental breakfast is 16 bucks when you can get a hot buffet breakfast for a couple dollars more. Haven't used the pool, gym or room services yet so can't comment on those. Good location in Dubbo.

Great place comfortable beds nice new rooms, great local restaurant the one stop shop for any traveller. Breakfast and dinner is superb. Friendly staff.

Buffet brekky nice lady working there was lovely even asked the cook how he cooked his poached eggs without the vinegar taste Thanks for the hint. Daily servicing of rooms good. My goodness that linen man works hard give him a raise or some praise please.

Very clean modern rooms for a reasonable price. My only issue was TV needed rebooting but that can happen anytime. Will definitely be back.

Great executive rooms, clean, comfortable and updated with room service or dine in options. Other food and essential items available directly across the road. Great service from staff. I'd love to see a microwave in rooms though.

The apartment we stayed at was very clean a credit to the house keeping staff. Our stay was for 2 nights and both nights we dined at the restaurant. Food was unbelievable on both occasion, both office staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again.

A good clean serviced apartment with plenty of room. The attached restaurant served lovely food and was open till 9 which was great for our late arrival. Only downside was the fridge didn't smell so good and the small oven/grill was really dirty but apart from that no real complaints.

Great location, had good stays except that there was little bit privacy issues at the ground floor service apartment. The apartment's access corridor is visible from outside the main entrance door. Also, there should have been proper marking for parking as per room no. We went out at night and found our previous parking spot being taken by someone else. I had to then park at a disabled space for the night.

Very clean and well appointed kitchenettes, great for overnight or short stay. A little pricey compared to local alternatives but worth the extra $. Kids loved 2 pools to choose from. Very happy, will definately stay there every time we are in Dubbo. Close to everything.

Disappointed. Was expecting much more based on pics and reviews. Complex felt like a bit of a concrete jungle, pools very small (backyard size) with yukky green felt around the paving. Gym not up to scratch with old equipment and some rusty parts. Apartment smelled from the moment we walked in and the a/c unit blasted out very smelly cold air. Can definitely get better for the price, with a nicer location and feel.

The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the rooms were well decorated. The restaurant had excellent food and servt. I highly reccomed using the Dubbo branch.

We stayed here recently at the newer section it was decent size room and all modern facilities. Just don’t like the fact that there’s no lounge to sit on. Plenty of breakfast food choices and it’s great!

Nice place. Tidy good food. Car parking can be a bit tight if you drive a large vehicle.

Rooms were clean and weren't smelly. Parking was a tad tight but not a big deal. Good service as well.

With motel and serviced apartment options, an indoor and outdoor pool, and just enough parking, this is a very decent Dubbo option. The rooms are well maintained and modern, though the supplied toiletries are at the very budget end so bring your own if that's important to you. Great location, especially if you're on a bike looking for an easy entry to the cycleway.

Upon arrival I was given my key by a lady who had no customer service skills (no personality at all) and was not helpful in directing me to my room. I drove around the block twice until I realised that my room was actually across the road at the back. The restaurant staff have been very friendly and the food was great. I would stay here again, but not if it was more expensive.

Rooms are a good size, nice and clean. Mattress was too soft, especially in the centre, could not get comfortable. Water pressure in shower was pathetic, and I spent most of my time adjusting the knobs, battling other guests for the available hot water. We only stayed overnight, less than 11 hours total, so all we needed was a bed and shower, and neither of those served their purpose adequately. Left feeling less refreshed than when I arrived.

We had two nights at the Cattlemans Country Motor Inn. Our room was spacious with free Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed. Meals in the restaurant were excellent and the staff in both reception and restaurant were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying there.

My parents have just got home from a trip to Noosa for the last two weeks and of all the places they stayed this was the one they commended! Staff, rooms and food was excellent! Highly recommended.

Lovely room. Extremely comfy bed. Only issue is the design of the showerhead means water spurts onto the floor outside the shower cubicle while you adjust the temperature. Very handy to the motor inn restaurant as well as various takeaways across the road.

I have stayed here a number of times and each stay has been better each visit. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Food is absolutely amazing been come here for a while now I travel nsw and this is the only place tgat get it right every time.

The service with reception was normal. Room was decent size, however Wi-Fi connected was not good. Some small cockroaches were seen around the room, however this could be difficult to maintain. Food in the restaurant was very delicious and generous portions. Staff may need a bit more education of wine types to help guests.

Fantastic place. Beds were comfy and bedding was great. Bathroom was good and the shower was awesome. Service was lovely. Wish we stayed longer!

Their serviced apartments are very nice and the restaurant is of a very high standard. Get the Angus Burger for dinner — you won't be disappointed. Full breakfast with all the hot and cold options you could hope for. Well worth the visit.

Great location, comfortable recently refurbished room with quiet reverse cycle aircon. Restaurant had excellent food.

Fantastic accommodation. We had one of the brand new king superior rooms which felt brand new. Fantastic bed, large TV and great shower. Very spacious and friendly staff.

Friendly service, neat modern looking room. One of our under blanket had cigarette burns, the pressure in the shower was low and it was leaking out the bottom. Apart from that a pleasant stay in a good location.

Stayed the Long Easter weekend at this hotel, and absolutely loved it. It worked out alot cheaper for the entire stay than most of the holiday parks in the area as we were a couple. The rooms were beautifully presented and serviced everyday and each time we returned to the room after servicing if felt like the first day of arrival, the cleaning staff are doing an amazing job, well done. Thank you guys so much, Easter weekend was a blast in dubbo!

They upgraded us to honeymoon sweet for free on our honeymoon drive home from all the way up North Queensland. It was nice to rest at this stop on the long trek back to Sydney.

The service was ok. Not very professional, but still informative. Parking was oddity couldn't Park in front of the room, as the policy is 'Park wherever you like' hard then to in a good parking space. The room was lovely. Very clean, and well presented. No movie channels on AUSTAR, but the sports channel was there. Nothing in the mini bar, mini bar items are inconveniently located in the office.

Attended a seminar there, excellent facilities and great service.

Clean, modern motel with friendly staff. Rates are very reasonable and great buffet breakfast in a modern dining room.

Pros: — Friendly staff — Great location — Modern room — Comfortable beds — Nice bathroom (however needs brighter lighting) Cons: — Room was right next to the main road, so could easily hear trucks driving past at night — Cleaners only got half way through cleaning our room and left dirty dishes in the sink and the the rubbish bag from the bin on the bench — No power sockets next to the bed! (whinge).

Great accommodation and restaurant.

Loved my stay here. Very friendly welcome and room was modern and stylish. Very clean too. Good water pressure in the shower and bed was comfortable. My only (small) gripe is that signage to find your room is lacking a bit, and it took me a good few minutes to work out where it was. Working in sales I stay in a lot of country motels and this is one of the best. Obviously well-run and maintained. There is a restaurant on-site but I didn't use it. Highly recommended.

I stayed here before Christmas 2013, while driving south. The room was good value, and was quite spacious. However while the bathroom was modern, it was sadly badly arranged and oddly uncomfortable for two people to manoeuvre in. While the name suggests an element of charm, the motel itself isn't quite as romantic as the name suggest, and is a huge sprawling complex of otherwise characterless rooms. I'd stay here again, but the place isn't my usual taste. But it has great facilities, and would suit a travelling family well.
