Best country service all round. The only motel I have ever stayed where the manager rings me when I have forgotten my breakfast menu.

Spacious room. Being the third adult in one room I appreciate a decent bed. (Not a roll away, folding bed, pull out sofa — ok for kids, not for adults) and the single bed and mattress, quite comfortable. Had trouble with the Wi-Fi though.

We have stayed at this motel on several occasions. It has always been very quiet, clean and comfortable. It is close to the facilities we use (Restaurants, Club, Parklands) but away from traffic and traffic noise, so we keep coming back. Having stayed at more than 30 motels in the past year, we think it is good value for money.

Nice hotel for overnight stays. Although some maintenance is required in some of the rooms.

Great service, very well positioned close to amenities sports clubs and lovely clean rooms. Add a nice cool pool for summer and the kids and grandkids enjoyed their stay.

This place is OK but not great. Nothing is wrong with it. Everything works. Needs a renovation and investment in the latest appliances. Suggest stocking the mini bar.

I travel with work and stay in Motels nearly weekly. The Blue Diamond had friendly, helpful staff, clean good-sized rooms, all good — EXCEPT — the shower was easily the worst that I have ever experienced. I could not get the temperature right for more than 3 seconds. Scalded and frozen within seconds. And the water volume was inadequate — a light mist that was not a cleansing experience. When I alerted staff that I wasn't happy, the response was "nobody has said anything about the showers before". Maybe they don't read Tripadviser?

Nice rooms. No free Wi-Fi. $12 for 24 hours. Found Dubbo to be quite expensive compared to the other hotels we've stayed in.

Stayed 2 nights found room very clean. Staff very frendly. Recomend to anyone graham collins.

Will stay here next visit. Ask for Room 11 at the back. (not if I want it :-) Has massive room with another room with a single and bunk beds. Clean room. Old but clean bathroom with a bath. Nice pool out the front that we swam to late with my Sons. Good location. Enjoyed the stay unlike next night at Parkes.

The Blue Diamond was a nice place to stay while taking in the Dubbo sights. The accomodation itself was very clean and spacious, providing the children with their own space to relax. It was close to the centre of town, especially the RSL which provided some good options for food choices. The only disappointments were there were no cutlery/plates which I have expected in other motels, and despite the whether being 30+ degress, the motel staff did not allow our kids to swim in the pool. I would have expected a little better hospitality in the country.
