The High Tea, held today 6.5.22 at Pullman Magenta Shores Resort was absolutely fantastic. The High Tea was a fundraiser for local charity We Care Connect. It was a most wonderful day, in every way — the friendly staff, the service & the food were all impeccable. Thankyou so much for helping make today such a great success — Fabulous.

Wonderful large resort with three pools, beautiful golf course, kids playground, fine dinning restaurant and casual dining bar, spa and gym, plus access to a small beach. Generous, well appointed accommodation, very good customer service/friendly staff. Kids activities in the busy holiday periods. A mix of older people on a golf/spa holiday and young families — had a lovely time and we hope to visit again!

Beautiful, quiet spot by the ocean. Great food and service. You’re made to feel so at home. Great staycation for our two days here.

Just got here and started to feel at home. Great place good location. No noises cars or traffic. Very nice. I will be back again to get away from the rat race of the big city and it’s only hour and a half away from Sydney. Definitely telling others about this place to slow down and revitalise. The real sad part is going back to the grind again, oh well that’s reality. Hahaha.

Staying here right now. My husband noticed not enough electrical outlets in our room. Not enough cupboard space for clothes for 2 ppl. No daily servicing even though we are staying for 3 nights. No microwave! What the? You guys must really be cost saving for a 5 Star resort! Also the worst thing of all, this place still has breakfast BUFFET with Covid numbers being so high! Also, the breakfast wasn’t the best. Dry bacon and cold eggs and not much of a choice at all.

Nice resort however not up to oar.

A get together with fabulous friends today for High Tea! The food was excellent but I Would like to thank Kayla & Kim for their professionalism, attention to detail and friendly service that was faultless. I hope management are aware how lucky they are to have them on staff.

Enjoyed our stay there. Its was a great weekend getaway. Staff very friendly and helpful very relaxing atmosphere. They just need to check the cleanliness of the Villas. Carpet was covered in stains and the cupboards in the master bedroom had cobwebs in them. I'm not talking simple small cobwebs, these things were massive. Apart from that we had a great time. Food was amazing and the drinks too.

Yes beautiful place good food good service. Waitress and waiters they were fantastic very helpful. Thanks a lot.

Great resort! Had 2 of the 3 bed villas for a staff get away. Perfect retreat with an almost private beach. Great staff and facilities. Will be back.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious, modern and clean and the food & drinks were amazing.

The view is nice and very family friendly place.

Recently dined at Barrett’s restaurant for my birthday, we are from Sydney and wanted a nice setting for my dinner with quality food. The menu was limited which had me worried at booking but WOW. It had no need to be bigger. Food was amazing & came out with perfect timing between starters, entrees and main, service was great, I requested a seat perfect for a birthday dinner and they placed us in the most perfect spot overlooking the golf course as the sun set. Not to mention the birthday dessert surprise they supplied. I can definitely say that I will be dining here again when I’m back in town. 5 stars!

Enjoyed a family Christmas lunch at Shallows bar today. We could not fault the venue and the food was great. Thank you Samantha (our waitress) we really appreciated the fantastic service you provided. We highly recommend this place for a casual get together and we will be back!

A wonderful resort so much to do. Great food, and staff are extremely friendly. Ariel & Beck in the bar area always extremely friendly and are great at their jobs. Highly recommend this place for a vacation.

Jaime and the Magenta staff, I have nothing but absolute praise for all that you did.
From the time we arrived, the support and running around you did to ensure it was all perfect. You were outstanding and can see why you were the wedding coordinator of the year last year. Even on Saturday you delivered our lunch and checked in on us. You are the most professional, friendly and calming person who we feel honored to have sorted our day from start to finish.
Dan was amazing and made us feel very welcome in the bar on Thursday late afternoon. Spoke about his own wedding and chatted with us. He spoke to Nina to see if our room could be changed after Shannon has mentioned he would like a bigger room and Nina shuffled things around to make it happen and it was perfect.
Sammy who ran our reception was amazing and had the most beautiful personality and attended all our guest needs and cake for my Dads birthday.
All in all Jaime it was a great day and weekend for us and out family.
A big thank you and all the staff at Magenta, we can’t thank you enough. Thank you for the bubbles and chocolates when we got back at the end of the night it was a nice surprise.

Lovely views, friendly and helpful staffs, vie spa is a must for everyone please visit, there are variety of spa treatments I recommended full body massage it’s so relaxing and refreshing, I also recommended high tea after ward.

Great resort; we are here as part of a training program. The facilities, the resources and support are excellent. Highly recommended.

This is a great venue for meetings, conferences and the like. Various sized rooms and configs and the service is usually very good. Easy to get to and parking is generally good but not sure about if it was a really large event however there may be some overflow area I'm not aware of. Food good with typical quality hotel pricing.

Great location with fast friendly service. Met David, the new general manager and I think they are in very good hands. Would not hesitate to recommend them for any business event.

We stay at Magenta Shores almost yearly, a very nice place to relax even if you don't play golf :) Only negative recently is the change to their breakfast, it is now limited buffet and set menu… the full buffet was much better with a lot of variety.

Having Adam and Phillip take care of us was an absolute pleasure as Accor had made an error with my account. These 2 men went above and beyond to make our stay a great one.
Would highly recommend staying here with either a family or just some alone time. Perfect to unwind and get away from the hustle of everyday life.

If you do happen to stay be sure to order the cheese platter it was unbelievable and the best value for money.

Golf course heated indoor and outdoor pool, ocean beach 100 metres out best resort for a getaway not far out from Sydney. Beautiful landscape and design great retreat :)

On 21/5/18 at the Pullman Magenta Shores Shallows Bar we attempted to have a tapas lunch but what we got were tiny morsels of food at outrageously inflated prices. What a rip off!

We had lunch here a couple of weeks ago to celebrate our daughter's 21st. An intimate lunch in a great location. Good Food and Service.

Beautiful golf course. We were there for a 3 days business offsite meetings. The lunch buffet is great!

Amazing. Played in the Vardon event off the back tees and I can tell you, Magenta Shores is intimidating. Nearly every shot you are thinking 'if I miss this I'm going to have to reload with a provisional'. For that reason I found it incredibly intimidating for all 18 holes. You want to make sure you are hitting your tee shots with accuracy. Greens are huge and undulated. Overall, Magenta is an incredible experience and is well and truly worthy of the Number 22 in Australia ranking. What a privilege to play.

Well, I really recommend this place if you are to stay in The Entrance. Our stay has been upgraded and we couldn't be happier. The internet was given free too. Customer service is top notch… Seriously, we will be coming back in the future.

I went to this place for a friends wedding. The place is beautiful and peaceful. The local restaurant offers great food too. The beaches are family friendly and very clean. I definitely recommend it for a holiday location. Overall I rate this place 4/5

I can not express the disappointment of staying here over the Easter long weekend. Having stayed at many Pullman hotels before I had no doubt that this was going to be a pleasant experience but for a 5 star resort it was non the less the worst experience I have ever encountered. This resort definitely does not live up to the Pullman’s renowned name. For the amount of money we spent on the 4 days to book a small studio is definitely not worth all the money. When we got to our room it’s was nothing special at all. There was no cosy homely feel to it. It was very plain. No mini bar at all, No do not disturb signs, No mini bar menu. The carpet was filthy.! 1. The smell of the room was absolutely DISGUSTING, there was a constant smell of raw sewage coming out of the drains in the bathroom from the shower and the basin, we had complained about this, although nothing had been done to ENSURE it was resolved. Staff had informed us this was taken care of, although clearly it had not. 2. The room aircon duct was jam packed with DUST. Once the unit was turned on it had blown dust all over our room, as well as constantly turning of and on thru out day and night. My husband had awoke the next 2 days constantly sneezing and had sever allergies to the dust and swollen eyes, We made a complaint to maintenance and were told the unit was working fine when the maintenance man had arrived he viewed the unit and said “IT RUNNING” and to call if there where any issues.

Although the turn into Magenta is quite sudden and difficult to find at night; a GPS should give you enough time to find where the turn is. The facilities are really well-kept and great to use (steam room, gym, indoor and lagoon pool). I love the addition of the complimentary sewing kit in the bathroom too — nice touch, Pullman.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday for the buffet restaurant. The facilities and views are nice but the food was average and service appalling. We arrived at 9am, the restaurant was about half its seating capacity however when we went to select food most of it was gone and the staff struggled to replenish it, I actually saw them bringing out 1 cooked tomato at a time. In addition to this the staff did not clear away our plates and the coffee machine was out of milk and water. They obliged when I requested for each of these nuences but it’s pretty poor form for a “5 Star” establishment. You’re better off visiting one of the many cafes in The Entrance, Long Jetty or Tawoon Bay.

Great golf course, on the expensive side however. They have a nice bar and food area as well. We had a wedding the next day here and their function staff were exceptional, the venue is very nice.

Staff were lovely. Loved the buffet breakfast. Lots of facilities and located right next to the beach.

I have nothing but the best review for Jamie and the whole team at magenta shores. You are absolutely amazing and your team were faultless through my whole wedding experience. I wouldn’t change a thing, except the weather but even when I had my heart set on having the ceremony outside but weather wasn’t going our way Jamie told me to trust her and she produced the most amazing wedding. Jamie & team you always made us feel like we were your one and only priority & never felt like we were just a number. I love the friendship we have built with you all & you will be seeing us both as well as our family and friends as frequent visitors from now on.

I was staying at a friend's place who lives there. I was there for a wedding and all the staff were amazing, professional, friendly and helpful. The bar service was confusing as I was sent to one area to order a cocktail then after I ordered and paid for it, I was asked where I was sitting so I assumed it was going to be brought to me. I sat and waited for 10 mins before enquiring about my drink. I was told it was being made at the original bar station I had approached. I went to that bar and it had been sitting there for some time. Very odd. Other than that, a lovely experience.

This was our second visit to the Pullman Magenta Shores Resort. My wife and I and our 2 young girls booked a 2 bedroom Villa and luckily enough got an upgrade to a 3 bedroom villa backing onto the golf course. The villa was spacious and well equipped with all we needed in the kitchen to serve light meals and snacks for the family. Did notice that some of the blinds and curtains were a bit worse for wear but overall cleanliness was good. The girls enjoyed having a room each and the living area was more than enough room for boardgames and impromptu dancing. The restaurants were very relaxed and food was ok at Barretts. We love this resort as it is so relaxing and in a very nice area of the Central Coast NSW, would definitely consider another stay in a weekend in the future.

The hotel is starting to show its age. It was very busy — public holiday and staff were stretched (uncleared tables). Food was good, staff friendly and beer cold. What more could you eant.

Very private rooms with garage. Buildings had a lot of space with balcony overlooking the golf course. Had a great time. Menu was delicious too.

Just celebrated my friends wedding. The staff were nothing but helpful and lovely. It was refreshing to see there is people good at hospo work who enjoy what they do, it makes a huge difference! The place is beautiful also. I would recommend this place to everyone. Well done magenta, keep up the good work!

Spacious rooms were delightful with plenty of light. Dinner was strange with minimal lighting, food was hit and miss. Lamb was awesome, desert had one item awesome and the other part just average. No cognac in the bar.

Attended a baby shower for a friend of mine. The location was beautiful, very close to the beach, and views of the golf course. Tennis courts very close by. Easy to park and all was close enough to walk around to. The apartment was super clean and modern, and well serviced by staff. Had a great time, would return again.

Lovely place to stay, very clean. Buffet breakfast was nice. Bed comfortable. Nice outlook into back garden area. Pools are cold but very well looked after.

Avoid room 803 as it has the most uncomfortable bed we've ever slept in. Apparently all rooms have different beds. Buffet breakfast also to be avoided when resort is full as food is scarse. Staff really nice.

Wanted something light to eat before golf ordered a club sandwich to share it took 25 minutes to arrive on a board no plates cutlery or napkins. Had to ask for them. When a comment re time taken response was ' he's on his own' 5 star — not! Nothing has changed!

We had "High Tea" most of everything was lovely except the sandwiches were a little dry. Atmosphere was great. Service was good too.

Phenomenal Hotel, great Service and absolutely quiet plus a great restaurant (breakfast & dinner). Our favourite place for a little getaway out of Sydney. Really looking forward to being back!

The worst hotel experience ever! After driving for 9 hours from Byron Bay we decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel and so we booked the Pullman — which are usually good standard hotels. When checking in we are told we are not staying in the main building but a DRIVE away, so we take our luggage back to the car and drive to our room. Very basic, horrible lighting, old and beige, have stayed in motels nicer than this. Wifi is NOT included!? The only place to eat was the hotel bar which menu was appalling, nothing gluten free and also nothing dairy free. Also they close at 10 pm. So again we go to the car and drive to the only open restaurant in the area. Please do not book this hotel if you want a pleasant experience.

Had a fantastic mothers day lunch there. They served us reasonably quick with the food (which was delicious) and at the counter. The staff were very nice asking if we need anything and the restraunt/area was beautiful. Just make sure to book so you're not disappointed if there's no spots available.

A beautiful place for a wedding. The service and food was out of this world. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day.

My husband and I went there to celebrate our 60th birthday and we were totally spoilt. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and professional. Chris on reception was exceptional. The wait staff, Jeanette, Lara, Emma and April were just perfect.
Kelly in the VIE Spa was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
My husband and sons found the golf course interesting but unfortunately the weather wasn't the best.
The beach is pristine and many people beach fish.
A great location with everything you want all in one place. Highly recommended and we will return.

One of the best places I have stayed Barrett's reasturant at the resort is amazing I had one of the best meals I have ever had mkr worthy service was amazing best restaurant I've been to in a very long time it's a must when u stay visit Pullman Resort.

Despite a mix up at the front desk where I questioned whether I should just get other accommodation. I was impressed by the room, and location. It was a short walk to beach and it has its own golf course.

Came here for an anniversary weekend and absolutely loved it. Beautiful and clean villas with great access to both the beach and the golf course. Extremely relaxing place! Highly recommended!

Rooms are comfy, clean, and well maintained. Facilities are kept in good order. Conference rooms come in varying sizes and seating is comfortable.

Quiet, relaxing and well maintained villas amongst palms and a golf course. Phone reception is nil for optus and constantly drops in and out for Telstra. They have Wi-Fi but signal is sooo weak you can barely connect to it even while standing at reception.

Beautiful location. I was there for a wedding and everything went off without a hitch. Staff were great.

Our stay was quite nice. But if you don't play ggolf there is nothing much else to do, I also think that the prices are very expensive, for what it is. I have stayed in the Shanghla in Sydney in a suite for less. There was in house movies offered but you had to pay a fee of $15.95 per movie!

The 3 bedroom apartments were amazing. Very luxurious and spacious with wonderful views of the golf course. The general soundings were lush and tropical like and the pool area generous and also provided some privacy. Breakfast was also great with a huge selection available. Very organised for running a corporate event and there was really noting negative I could say about my entire experience.

Best hotel/resort I have ever stayed at! Loved the villa, the resort, the location and the people. Couldn't recommend it more!

Celebrated my brother's birthday here with a few friends. Staff were wonderful. We made a fair mess and the cleaners did not complain. The Private beach was perfect and helped in allowing you to unwind and relax. I found the prices to be a bit more then the area but if you were looking for quality accomodation this was it. Mobile phone reception throughout the resort was non-existent (on Optus). I would stay here again, but only if the prices were lower then they are now.

The staff were lovely and helpful. We locked ourselves out and the lady helped us get back in very quickly. We waited for the room at Check in for about an hour and the staff dealt with the situation professionally, so for that I gave it 5 stars.

A 5 star rated resort and you pay the 5 star premium, get a resort with good facilities but let down by staff and rooms. During our stay, stuff in the room didn't work, no Wi-Fi, simple requests botched and generally unfriendly staff. It is a shame because the resort itself has great facilities but service levels are definitely lacking for a 5 Star Resort.

Lovely place for a break from the city.

Beautiful grounds and views. I have stayed in the villas before and I think they looks a little run down now. Scuffs on walls which make it look a bit tired. Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

12 year old kids are considered adults. What the.

Generally a very nice place to visit. Golf, gym, food and beach was very nice. On the other hand the Pools. We came for a visit during holidays. "Gangs" of people I don't believe were even staying at the resort came in and were bullying others out of the pool area. It seems to be a common issue with "locals" coming in.

The Resort is Amazing and the pools are spectacular, the lagoon pool is the best because its got a bar, I wish I could live there.

Very nice overall. Slightly artificial feeling in places. Beautiful views though. Surprised Wi-Fi wasn't free lol.

Wish I could afford to live here :).
