Jody and the team go above and beyond with Blue Lagoon. We have been coming to this beautiful place for such a long time it’s been more than 20 years. Perfect place to getaway and relax and switch off and not worry about anything. My mother was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away nearly three years ago and Jody rang up and left mum a beautiful voicemail message to wish us a happy Christmas and New Years and sadly I had to break the news to Jody and the team that she passed away and I can’t thank Jody enough for looking after my mother all these wonderful years. The place is always in perfect condition and the hot spa is perfect. Jody, as mum would always say Thank You for a wonderful weekend. Great location, facilities & helpful staff.

Just spent the weekend here. Loved it kids loved it! Will def be back again However the girl working at the cafe this morning was absolutely miserable! So rude — no smiles — looked like she didn’t want to be there and clearly shouldn’t be in a job position working face to face with customers. Such a shame because the lady working last night was so lovely happy and cheerful.

On our arrival Sunday 10 April someone was parked in our designated cabin car space which is beyond the control of staff, but not a good start. Furthermore the state of the family cabin was below a standard a reasonable person would expect so far as hygiene and cleanliness especially in COVID times. The cabin had very wet floors and smelt very strongly of bleach. However it was covered in sand throughout which being so close to the beach you can explain away. After arriving and unpacking the children and all our gear. We dried and swept the floors which improved the situation slightly. Not something you expect to have to do first thing when arriving on holiday. The beds were beautifully made and had clean sheets but the side tables were covered in dirt/dust/sand and there was a clump of pubic hairs in the bedside draws, which my 1.5 year old took out and handed to me. Dishes/pots/ cutlery is/were dirty. Blinds are mouldy (I have asthma and sinus issues). The bathroom roof was black with mould. We had an jumping ant infestation as well that my husband and I promptly dealt with before someone was bitten. There was no mobile reception so you need to rely on Wi-Fi which is great if you don’t want to communicate with the outside world but as I was required to work it made this aspect a non-option. This was our first holiday in a long time due to COVID. We are so disappointed and the kids were so upset to have to leave earlier than planned.

What a cracking Park. Highly recommended 💯…. Can’t wait to stay once again.

Did a review a few weeks ago but seems to have been removed even though it wasn’t bad in any way. Awesome place to stay but kind of creepy to know that people sneak around others camp sites at night. Two of our tents both had lines pulled up during the night and it wasn’t the wind either. Also, took a ride on the Saturday and when we returned, stuff that had been left outside a tent had been moved around. Quiet happy to return but just wanted to give others a warning about late night creepers🤷‍♀️

Filthy Cabin, and valuables stolen by cleaner that I left behind, Manager and staff can’t do anything about it, would definitely not recommend, disaster of a break away.

Great place to stay and enjoy family time and enjoy the beach. Great family spot. Very family friendly.

What an amazing place to camp with a beach right beside you with beautiful views. The facilities are very clean and awesome customer service. The pool is so well maintained also. We stayed in a tent that we hired from Gillyweed Glamping for our anniversary so we were so happy that this spot was chosen for us. “Jonique Life”

Great location and facilities. Only downside is the sites are on the smaller side. Our 17.6ft caravan only just fits length wise.

Great resort! Beautiful spot! Bathrooms could do with an upgrade though, and if you love your coffee, DO NOT buy it from the park cafe! Worst coffee I’ve ever had.

I’ll start with the positives. Great location right on the beach perfect for swimming, boogie boarding and fishing. Lovely pool. Free unlimited Wi-Fi, great well priced cafe. Negatives unhelpful and uncaring staff. My father was stung by a stingray ray whilst with my 15 yr old son right out front of the resort. My son went for help at reception they refused to come out of the office and recommended my son take my father 1km down the beach to Shelly beach life saving club. No follow up by resort staff regarding my fathers condition. No phone reception in many parts of the resort and left to fend for ourselves in a potentially life threatening situation. Very poor form. Resort very run down and quite neglected.

Great place. Great location. Beachfront cabin the best with that view and the sound of the waves is amazing. We have been coming for 4 years now and never disappoints. Thank you again Blue Lagoon.

We’ve been going to blue lagoon for about 20 years and just love it. The park is quiet and safe for kids. The staff are super friendly. Can’t speak more highly of this caravan park.

Caravaning fantastic site, pool. Spa, beach and amenities in close proximity. Clean amenities cleaned very regularly. Free washing and dryer service.

We love Blue Lagoon, they have a beautiful pool and the biggest and best spas I’ve ever seen not to mention being right on the water.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Will continue to come back like we have been for quite a few years now especially in winter when the kids can still swim in the heated pool and spas.

Easy drive from Sydney. Awesome pool and spa area. Right on the beach, loved hearing the waves at night from the van. Quiet park. Staff are happy and friendly. Enjoyed the sausage sizzle, pancakes, tennis, table tennis and other kids activities. We will be back.

Last minute booking for a night away with the family at this place and so glad we did choose this place, its awesome. Right on the beach with awesome views. Plenty of things to do, but main thing to do is swim in the heated pool or relax in the hot spas and given we arrived on a very overcast and drizzly day made it fun for the kids knowing it wasnt a freezing pool that mum and dad wouldnt want them in. This place seems like they have been renovating and trying to get the place up to a top standard and I think they are on their way. The beachfront rooms are lovely though are starting to look abit tired but only minor things in my mind. Theres 2 playgrounds for the kids, a games room, camp kitchen, tennis court and other activities. Would be buzzing in the warmer months. They also have an onsite kiosk which do great food or can drive 3mins up to the local shopping centre if needed. Will definately be back.

It devastates me to put a score of 2, but I hope that it might motivate management to put some effort into maintaining the Park better. I have been coming to the park for 30 years. My Mum has been coming to blue lagoon since she was a child. The location is stunning and I have never found anywhere else with such perfect views. Unfortunately it appears that management are using the views sell the park and keep people coming back rather than maintaining it. The amenities block has tiles missing in the showers and the shower head is ridiculous, I could not was my hair with a shower flower from the 70’s which was below my head height. The shelf In the shower is at a height that children could not see what is in their shower bag so either need assistance or get everything wet. Out of the 6 spas only three functioned with “bubbles”. And your idea of renovated beach front cabins is a joke. A new coat of paint doesn’t hide kitchen doors that are broken, tiny ensuite bathrooms with rust all over the mirrors and an exhaust fan which didn’t work. For a cabin that sleeps six a 2.5 seater sofa and only a 4 seater dining setting doesn’t really add up? Your rates were more expensive than Umina’s ocean beach caravan park yet the facilities are in terrible condition in comparison. Extremely disappointing as I would be happy to pay more if it meant great facilities as well as that incredible view.

Went with my daughters and they loved the facilities. Child friendly playgrounds. The heated pools were amazing and fits all ages (from toddlers to adults). A few minutes from the beach and has a kiosk.

Great spot right by the beach. Overall top spot for any age. We were in our own self contained caravan and met up with friends who rented a cabin for a week. If I had to find any negatives: ** Cabin was in a prime spot — clean, with comfy bed. However, badly in need of makeover and poorly supplied with kitchen utensils for guests staying more than just overnight — no basic mixing bowl/s, serving plate/s, fridge containers etc. ** Amenities blocks (esp newer one) always spotless and well maintained. But, poorly designed for drainage — water flows across drying area floor out to main area, and position of shower rose makes it impossible not to spray clothes on shelf. Stand out positives: ** friendly helpful staff ** showers — great constant pressure and no lack of hot water ** spotless amenities ** FREE washers and dryers ** terrific play areas & heated pools.

Has free fast Wi-Fi. Ocean at door step. Nice staff. We have stayed twice for a week in the last month. Well priced.

Great location. Quiet and relaxed. Good service. We had some problems with our camper van, broke down so we needed to stay here and they gave us a bottle wine for free. So nice people here. I really recommend this place. I’ll would come back again.

We were lucky enough to spend 5 amazing nights at the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort last week with our 4 young children.
The cottage we rented (The Family Cottage) was spacey, clean and felt like home.
The reception staff were friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile.
The ladies in the cafe were the same. Friendly, efficient, always had smiles for us and the shop was clean as a whistle. The food was scrumptious and if I didn't have to travel 4hrs to buy their yummy chips I'd probably eat them every day.
The park itself was beautiful and secluded but still not far from the shops. The private beach only 2 minutes walk from the park was an amazing sight and perfect for those who enjoy a swim in the ocean. The gardens were immaculate, the pool divine and the views were to die for.

We can't wait to visit again.

Pool is great. Heated spa too. The sites though are just so small and hard to get into. Feel quite constraphobic. Cannot even put lines or ropes out as you wont have room for your car beside your van. Just too close and hard to reverse in due to narrow roads or clothes lines, gardens etc. You cannot open your car doors once you get your car in, or you'll hit next doors van. Lovely pool though.

Great location lovely pool and fabulous spas. Laundry offers free machines. The showers are terrific they just need to fix the entrance driveway as its dreadful and our TV reception wasn't very good — no channel 9 or 7

What a way to be greeted on arrival, take your money then get cabin room key for not the one you booked 7 months earlier. The manager was a highly stressed person lifting computer screens up and into face, yelling for credit cards to do refund ans told us to go because we would not enjoy. Well she was right about that your manager should not be your front face even a request to clean bbq was met with smart remark. Sunday she snapped and was rude again to my sister your other front staff surprised faces said it all and her request was for owner contact details. Yes you might have the right to move us around according to your manager but customer service goes 2 ways why not contact earlier booking ie us and give us the option of not coming and given the booking for 27 cabin was only done 2months ago by the family that occupied it and we booked 7months ago and paid full price for front facing cabin aNd ended up in garden facing cabin fronting bush no parking for our 2 cars but we made own arrangements with people next door no privacy between the 2 cabins we kept our door shut and covered. So in all what was a nice place to come to relaxing chilling out now is off our list. Should have turned around and gone back home. Your manager does you now justice when your parents where in charge you wouldn't never have been greeted the way or treated the way the way we were. Wold not recommend Blue Lagoon Beach Resort…

I have been going to Blue Lagoon since I was 8 years old. It's changed a lot since then! Great beachfront location, with resort style swimming pool and spa. Walk along the beach to Shelly Beach and enjoy a meal or coffee at the dog friendly cafe at the surf club. Explore the rock platform, then walk around the rocks for a swim at the secluded Bateau Bay. Amenities block at the south end has finally been renovated, but pretty basic. Powered caravan and tent sites, plus a huge selection of cabins. On site shop/takeaway shop with burgers, chips, fish etc. Great for kids. Activities during school holidays. Beach is protected and not too rough.

My sister in law stayed here we come to visit her as we live across the road, only to be basically abused by the old guy who works there, because we weren’t staying there only visiting he thought he could have ago at us. It says guest can visit next time she won’t be staying there again horrible experience! She was so embarrassed she couldn’t even speak. I would not recommended at all.

The cabin was neat and programme the ran for the kids was great. But the management of the place is discusting
I stayed there last week and on our first night two cabins across from played cricket on the road outside our cabin till 1am. They were drunk, loud and kept hitting my car. When reported the next day management had a word which only made matters worse as for the rest of week they sat in gutter under my bedroom window all day to night drinking and listening to music. When reported again I was told they had every right as it was public property. My partner and I were taunted verbally for being gay and grand daughter called racial slurs. I asked on the wednedsay could I check out and be refunded because of these issues and was told my money would be forfeited. I was also told that I had come to wrong place to have peace and quiet by management. There is no sinage or speed humps in park and I dont know how some child has not been injured. Alot of money to stay for a week and be insulted and not have management take Sorry I need to clarify something which was mis read in a review I wrote previously. It came across that the staff was rude and and taunted my parnter and I for our sexuality and my grand daughter for her race. This was NOT the case. It was the people in the two cabins who sat under our bedroom window for the week becase they were angered when we reported them for playing cricket on the road till 1am and kept hitting my car.

Beach is stunning and swimming pool/spa is ok. This is pretty much all what is good about this place. Amenities need to be refreshed or replaced.

Great family environment. Friendly faces. Pools is nice. Spa is warm. Most cabins have gas cooktops and hot water on demand. Beach access is very close to everything. Couldn't be happier.

Small park but a great family place to relax. Amazing beach with rock pools for exploring. The walk to the lookout is amazing especially when whales are migrating. Holidays offers a great kids club and winter the heated spa IS warm enough to enjoy. Constant visitors now as not too far from home. One of our favourites.

Had an awesome time there, the structure was pretty good, warm water spa pool was great. Used the shared kitchen, as long as you bring plates and cutlery, they have all the equipment. Place was clean and well kept, had a good experience with the staff, coffee on the coffee shop was the only downside, but there are alternatives at walking distance.

Really enjoyed the Queens birthday long weekend here. The cabins had one room with 2 bunks and another with a double bed so easily slept 6 ppl. Bbq facilities right outside, the onsite store has limited items but it's things you might forget to pack and doubles as a cafe. There's a kids park and pool too but you're literally 20ms from the beach. You're also 5mins drive from the local shopping complex. Definitely coming back. Only criticism was that Wi-Fi was non existent when we stayed due to local network being down at the time.

So nice that I think I'm staying here for Christmas. A nice heated spa not the main pool. A play area for kids and foxtel in all the rooms. There is an air conditioner in all rooms.

Nice getaway place. Staff was quite cooperative and accomodating. Park has all the basic amenities required for a good park including a nice pool. The park is also close to beach.

As far as holiday parks go, this is not bad. Absolute beachfront cabins were great location wise. Food in the cafe not great, but other options nearby.

Lovely stay in a family cabin just after Easter 2017. Being split level, the cabin was very spacious and well appointed, and 3 separate decks meant there was plenty of choices for where to hang out. The master bedroom was lovely, second bedroom had literally just enough room for 2 sets of bunks and a chest of drawers, so your kids would need to get on very well. Having a bathroom plus a second toilet was good for families. The grounds of the resort are very attractive and well kept, great beach access, friendly staff in the office, convenient to have a cafe onsite. We enjoyed the free use of the tennis court. The play equipment was good for little kids. The heated pool was very nice and well laid out, and we liked the huge spa area too. Great visit and we would be happy to return. Next time we might try a beach front cabin.

Great position on the beach. Cabins getting a long overdue revamp. Very, very overpriced cabins$265/midweek in May. Cheaper to stay at the far more luxurious 1 bedroom apartment or room at the Magenta Shores. Nice swimming pool and spa. Conveniently located within a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to bay village shopping centre.

The pools are amazing. The beach view is divine especially if you stay in the beach view cabins, which I did. The tennis court and playgrounds are really fun and good for most ages. The rooms are nice how there is enough space for 6 or more people. In conclusion, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort is a great place to stay for all ages.

We stayed one night in a cabin with a full kitchen, lounge and queen bedroom with ensure for an extremely affordable price! And the beach was at our doorstep! We had an incredible view of the sun rising out of the ocean even from the bedroom! The resort was nice and quiet and had everything we needed. Short walk to restaurants and bars. We are definitely going to stay at Blue Lagoon Resort again!

Our first time there and loved it. Fantastic pool and friendly staff too. Quite close to a modern shopping centre and licensed club for meals.

It's a really great place for family, couples and singles. It has all the facilities that a good hotel should have it has beach, swimming pool, spa, hot bath and a tennis court. It's facilities meet the need for every age and provides best holiday of the all times. It has always been my fav place for a holiday. I would love to go a million times. Ps it has a shopping center near by for food and clothing.

Blue lagoon beach is ideal for families and the resort is situated perfectly to enjoy beach combing, sunbatheing and swimming. Loved the pool facilities at the resort as well. Great overnight rates.

Stayed at Blue Lagoon for four nights and found it to be an excellent resort in all respects. Well managed by friendly staff. Would recommend to friends for sure.

Had a nice time. Stayed in a garden cabin, accomodation is dated but clean and comfortable. Some of the fittings like blinds and sliding doors could use some repairing. Nearby beach is beautiful and pool is very nice.

It is absolutely the perfect little place to go with the family we love the place we will come back again but they need to put screen doors on the two storey cabins but awesome to stay there the staff are awesome, helpful and friendly thankyou very much.

This place is a little pocket of paradise. I felt like I had to review it after reading a few negative reviews on Trip Advisor. I honestly don't know what is wrong with people with unrealistic expectations. The park is on prime beachfront land, you couldn't ask for better. OK, it is on the older side compared to some of the other parks, but it is spotless, albeit a little tired, but they don't claim to be like the other holiday park bells and whistles experiences. The pool area is great and very clean. I considered our stay to be fantastic value. Our family had such a wonderful time here, we couldnt ask for more. The customer service was fantastic, the staff accommodating and attentive when we needed. We extended our stay and they gave us a great price too. We will definitely be back here. I couldn't fault this place — it completely exceeded my expectations.
