Went to visit friends who had paid for a gate pass for us and well the Mrs Bosslady had her elbow on the gate waiting for us to get to gate
Thought we were going into jail.
What a fkn joke these people are so bloody strict. Will never go for a holiday because you’d feel like you weren’t allowed to do anything.
One guy who was doing the Hume and Hovell walk couldn’t get a cabin for one night COZ 2 night minimum. He was looking forward to sleeping in a bed but NO BOSS LADY has a 2 night rule — 5star 👇👇

Great little park for the whole family with lots to keep the kids entertained. So quiet and peaceful.

My family & I spend 5 days at the Great Aussie Holiday Park in January 2021. It was my first experience in a Caravan Park and exceeded all my expectations. We had an amazing time.
My 3 years old love all the friendly kids and facilities for her age. The kids club was super fun, the little warm pool was perfect for my 9 month old and all the family honestly. I enjoyed so much the view from the Lake View Villa, the cottage was super clean and overall the whole site.
I definitely will comeback soon.
The Park Site is Huge enough to don’t hear people all the time. Thank you so much it was a beautiful and unforgettable experience for me and my kids.

If they employed people that value customer service and actually want to do a good job and earn their pay, that would be a good start. Do right by your customers, they are paying for a service.

Great park in a peaceful location with super clean amenities and excellent facilities.

What a great park. Tents, caravans or cabins. What ever way you want to stay. Very clean and tidy amenities. Great place for kids. Pool, play equipment, games room and movie room.

Paradise for boating (on site fuel and boat ramp) and outstanding park facilities & activities with tremendous staff/customer service.

Pathetic service, have stayed here several times and service has been getting progressively worse. Will never ever stay here again. Rude staff, ridiculous park rules and completely inflexible. Avoid at all costs.

A great place to stay will be back love the canoeing and archery, function room was great for our cousins 60th.

Great very large sites. Cafe food great and price very reasonable.

Because the Hutts we stayed in were hot box and we were paying 270 a night for such conditions like me and my family did was unacceptable and to have to leave two nights early because of it was a very disappointing. I was disgusted and definitely won’t recommend this place if I wanted to sleep in a hot box I would of camped in a bloody tent.

Stayed here previously great rooms, friendly staff, well priced and most importantly really clean highly recommended. By the way awesome job with supporting the locals that got evacuated today your a bunch of legends!

This has to be one of the best caravan parks I have stayed at
Tranquility, birds, sunsets and all the comforts you will ever need.

Its wide open spaces and fun activities.

Absolutely loving the space here, the fact it is dog friendly, the lovely staff, it has great facilities and the grounds are kept beautiful. The kids are having an absolute ball here and the parents are feeling well relaxed. The site we have is also fantastic to with the en-suite and has a paved driveway. Thanks Great Aussie Holiday park for a great trip so far. Looking forward to trying the zip line tomorrow etc.

What a weekend! I’ve honestly only ever heard great reviews from people that I’ve talked too about the Great Aussie Resort. I’ve been meaning to come out for ages and boy is everyone right! Great facilities, great location, great activities for the kids, what’s not to love about this place? Will be back and will be telling everyone to go out and experience this place! Thanks for having us!

We just stayed here for 3 nights this week. The park has spectacular views across Lake Hume and the activities for kids are fantastic. Our kids did the Rock Climbing and Archery and loved it. Bobby was so patient teaching them and made it fun for them.
So many free activities for them as well, tennis court, frisbee golf, animal feeding, movie nights were great. The BBQ area is such a nice place to sit and relax, they had a fire going each night and the kids roasted marshmallows.
Facilities were very clean and staff were friendly and helpful.

This place is the place to stay when in this area. The park is always so clean yhe facilities and activities in peak times are great and the staff are amazing. Weither your camping, caravaning or staying in one of the poolside villas you'll love it.

I had my 70th birthday at the G. A. H. P. With 40 odd family and friends over a four day period and the facilities are fantastic and well set out. The staff are happy, friendly and willing to make your stay enjoyable. Love the place and we will be back, keep the beautiful log fires burning.

What a hidden treasure needed a quick overnight stay. Would plan a trip back. It’s spotless, friendly and heaps of activities for the kids.

We enjoy attending Great Aussie and normally its a great experience, however this year the rudeness of people was disgraceful, partying until 3am, riding electric scooters (adults) around the park over the limit, putting others at risk. Camping ettitique was non existent by the adults and children. Not being allowed to light a fire on a very cold night was annoying. This park use to be family orientated but it appears to have become arrogance central. The allocation of sites also appears to be a class system rather then first in best dressed. On a positive note, the staff are friendly & helpful.

We stayed in a budget cabin and while dated it was inexpensive $149, slept 6 and spotless. Good facilities, on the lake good for skiing, kids loved water park and pool and very friendly staff. The kids and I are very impressed with the park and plan to come back for a holiday.

Just spent Australia Day weekend at the park what a great park would recommend to families this place has everything backed up with friendly professional staff do yourself a favour and visit you will not be disappointed we are going back just rebooked.

Nice rooms and a range of activities. It's nice and big and there is both dorms and units.

First visit, awesome, heaps of activities for the kids, great pool, staff very friendly and helpful, a hidden gem close to home.

I just visited however the facilities environment weather was wonderful. Planning a break there soon.

The name says it all, it would very hard to find a park with better facilities, views and more helpful staff.

This place is a great little holiday spot especially for families… Lots of activities for kids… We'll definitely be coming back in the warmer months…

Was a great venue well catered for all age groups. Cabind lovely would visit again.

Great caravan park. Really well looked after, very friendly and accommodating staff. Long way from nearest shops etc so being things you need. Though the office has a small range of items. Oh and Pizza :). My favourite thing is the open fire they have at night.

Beware! grumpy, unwelcoming caretaker! the park is nice. In a quaint setting with some fairly good facilities. It is just a shame the caretaker is a grumpy man who is hellbent on stamping out any fun that anyone is having. We were there for a family reunion and everyone was having a lovely time in the dining area. No one was being loud at all. All of a sudden the lights went out at 10.30pm with no warning, even though it said the area was open until 11pm (both nights). One of our party was nearly seriously injured because they couldn't see their way back to their cabin. He then came and banged on a table near one of our cabins to 'try' and quieten down the noise. People in these kinds of positions should be of a pleasant disposition and should make guests feel welcome. Probably won't return solely for this reason, which is a shame, because we live close and would probably frequent there regularly otherwise.

Great place for camping. Easy access to the lake for kayaking, fishing and water-sports.

The Great Aussie Holiday Park certainly lives up to it's name, it is located right on the edge of Lake Hume, and if the lake isn't appealing they have a pool too! The team of staff are friendly and helpful, and they can always point you in the right direction. The fishing is great, and they even have their own boat ramp, so whether you fish or ski, this is the place to be. There are more than enough facilities, with a large amenities block, a functions/entertainment area, kids room and even a movie theater. They also have tennis courts, a jumping pillow, a playground and a "water spray park". If you don't want to take your food out you can order it online at Coles or Woolworths and they will stock your fridge for you! The Great Aussie Holiday Park has everything you could possibly want and is great for family holidays, reunions, a get-together with friends or an escape from the stress of everyday life.
