Stayed here on and off for years now! Great location, comfortable, clean rooms for a great price, but above all the staff there are AMAZING! I've taken friends there for a few full moon events & we all dressed up, the owners even came out to make sure we were having a wonderful time, & were so accommodating & friendly, I honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Great place in a beautiful location! 50m from Pic Nic bay and from the pub! The bus stops just in front of it. The place is super clean and tidy. Anton has been really helpful and extremely nice: he gave us a map of the island and great advices to go around! Highly recommended!

Quiet part of island. Fantastic accommodation at budget price. Bus at the door. 2 min walk to pub and jetty. Saw biggest ball of juvenile fish at end of jetty, great number of soft corals on the pylons, a great snorkel.

Without a doubt the BEST hostel that we have stayed in throughout travelling the whole East Coast. Anton made our stay so enjoyable that we extended our visit, I would definitely recommend! Amazing :-)

Basic accommodation, clean, communal showers/toilets. Cheaper than most other places on the island. Anton, the manager, was very nice and helpful and always loves a chat :-)

Incredible! For the price of a hostel you get much more! The facilities are spotless clean, the rooms have a fridge and a sink, the TV was huge (we are nornally not watching lots of TV but that one we had to use :-D) and the staff was super friendly and helpful! One of the best places to stay during our 15 months travel!

We've just spent a week at this awesome accommodation. Great, friendly hosts who were extremely welcoming. Clean comfortable rooms with modest prices. I've never stayed in this kind of accommodation before but will certainly revisit CStay Magnetic Island.

By FAR the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The cleanliness & organization is impeccable, never seen anything like it. The whole place was refurbished recently so the kitchen is very modern, everything from pots, pans & cutlery are top notch stuff, no cheap, rusty, "ready to break" kind of stuff you usually find. This beautiful guest house lies in the heart of picnic bay, just 1 minute away from the local bar, restaurant, atm, bottle shop, beach & jetty. Basically all you need. There's even a kayak you can borrow for free if you're feeling adventurous. If you're an animal lover, you'll see everything from parrots to eagles, stingrays, sharks, turtles & possums. Friendliest staff around as well. All in all, a perfect place to stay. Even extended my stay by week. Love it.

What an absolute gem of a place. Have spent 2 weeks at Cstay and will probably come back for more. Love the friendly staff, cleanliness and chilled out relaxed vibe the place gives off.
1 minute walk to the beach where we saw turtles, sting rays, eagles and lots more.
Anyone looking for a chilled place to see some Australian paradise at affordable prices, this is it!
Thanks for the loan of the fishing rod, didn't catch anything but we had the beach to ourselves and saw an eagle take my fishing bait off the beach from 3 meters away. Spectacular!

CStay is located in Picnic Bay, at a minute walk from the beach. The hostel is very clean and a perfect quiet place to stay for a couple of days on the island. Especially perfect for couples: the double room in CStay is approximately the same rate as a dorm room in the other hostels at the island. The owner is very friendly and tells you all about the island and he even gave us a ride to the ferry when we were leaving. Absolutely the number 1 budget accommodation on the island, especially for couples or other people that are not looking for a party-hostel. I would love to come back to this place.
