Great view of marina, nice and peaceful.

Stayed over for a night last night and must say we loved everything about this place, from the amazing reception staff who went above and beyond, to the lovely restaurant staff who were very inviting and helpful. The Cooks prepare some amazing dishes and the Buffet breakfast is a fantastic little spread. The rooms are lovely and clean and very big and spacious. Would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Peppers for making our stay so comfortable and unforgettable.

It was the most amateurish hotel I have stayed in. They could not get booking right after 4 try's. The wine displayed they had none rest was hot both nights. The booked reception was not ready, they staffs comments were So What, when they told guests to go away.

Apartment lovely and clean, though no water views, as requested. Restaurant staff for breakfast were rude. Paying extra for a cup of coffee is laughable, in the breakfast package. Pool beautiful. Reception staff were lovely and accommodating when required. A lot of money for apparent 5star accommodation, more 3.5 star.

As per other comments, lacks the finished touches of a 5 star resort but very nice all the same. Friendly staff, nice restaurant overlooking the marina, happy hour 4 to 6 and love their cocktails but I'm no expert. Our room was large, comfortable and tidy with kitchen, bathroom and even a washing machine. Enjoyed the pool and a swim of an afternoon. Very relaxing would definitely return again.

Arrived to be put in an “upgraded” studio. The lounge was dirty (filthy), all dining chairs were dirty. Then the air con wasn’t working so we were moved. The new place is a VERY long walk from the foyer. Up 20 steps, (we’re in our 70’s) with no water view (as originally requested) and actually only trees to look at. A big balcony but can’t leave the door open as we are right beside the children’s end of the swimming pool 😡 which is constantly very noisy. To top it off the package we booked includes daily breakfast but coffee is not included! $5 a cup extra! Oh and the tiny amount of Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. I would not recommend this place. ps. Staff were friendly.

Rooms were nice, but missing the finer touches of a 5 star resort. Customer service when dealing with a legitimate complaint was SHOCKING. Young man at the front desk on afternoon of Friday 5th November needs some serious training in quality customer service and resolving complaints. Manager we spoke to later that day on the phone could also do with a refresher.

Definitely not 5 star. $300 p/n for a carpark view.

When we requested that our room be serviced while we were out for the morning, we were told by reception “I’ll see if I can do. It probably won’t get done until the afternoon though. ” She was very unfriendly.
We were seated at a table at breakfast that had a used bandaids stuck to the bench. Despite notifying the waitress, it remained there. Lots of staff at breakfast but food remained on the pass for long periods of time.
Ordered food from restaurant to take back from the room. We were told that we only had 5 minutes to place our order. It was 8:30pm. The bruschetta was uneatable. Do not recommend staying here.

After our door wasn't working, Sam was amazing at getting it fixed and giving us a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. Couldn't recommend this lovely place enough.

Was a lovely stay. Room was great and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. Very friendly staff.

Terrible breakfast service. Waiting over 40 minutes even when there is no one else in the restaurant. Inconsistent meals. If the managers of Accor knew what was happening here they’d have a heart attack. 😂

A home away from home, quiet place, the pool is just few steps from the door. The view of the sea in front is just awesome.

Certainly doesn’t have enough staff to provide the services of a 5 start hotel. No room service. No take away. No anything. Not a 5 star hotel.

Thank you to the amazing team at Peppers Blue on Blue! Our room was spacious and beautiful with amazing views. The team were so helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious! Kids absolutely loved the pool and there was so much to do around island.
We will be back!

Great staff and beautiful relaxing room. We had the 3 bedroom apartment with our own plunge pool. Great way to spend a girl's weekend away. The only downfall would have to be the parking if you have a large car as they are a little tight. Would definitely recommend if you want to chill and enjoy the serenity.

For the price charged per night what presented itself to us when we walked into our room was very disappointing.

Great friendly staff perfect location on the marina with ferry and barge comming and going live music on the deck sundays from 3 pm happy hour.

Great location, lots of families and noisy. Rooms spacious but need upgrading furniture and blinds mildewy. Disappointed with disabled access… no rooms without steps for mobility aids. Pool access difficult for those needing mobity assistance. Very disappointed that Peppers failed to measure up in the access area. It is 2020 after all.

We recently had our wedding there and we cannot fault it. The staff were incredible to the point where a lot of our guests were telling us how amazing and accommodating they were. Abbey the event manager went above and beyond with everything and because of her and the team we felt so at ease.

Very noisy room, staff member put bins out (x 19! ) @ 450am woke us all up. Heard very car etc out the front. If you are looking for a sleep in… don’t bother, it won’t happen here!

Slow service. Ten customers and still took 30 mins to get a drink. Waitress and waiter couldn't work POS system. Took 5 minutes to pay bill. While she walked around with empty water jug trying to look busy. Absolutely shut service.

Room was average. Bed was Devine. Very clean. Restaurant was abit limited with the menu but we enjoyed our seafood special. Buffet breaky was also limited as some items had run out. Seagulls were not so good as onto leftovers asap as talbles weren't always cleared. Staff were friendly but not overly ready for service. Overall good and would still go back. Have definitely had better interactions with staff and other places.

The restaurant is in a great location with lovely view over the marina. Spaciously designed with seamless connections between inside and outside. The food is lovely but if you're vegetarian don't bother going — there's only one or two vegetarian options on the menu. We visited the restaurant 4 times over 14 days and each time found the staff were polite but the times between ordering and delivery to tables were consistently bad. The worst being 1.5 hours for two pizzas. Accommodation is extremely convenient to shops and transport.

Despite them giving us a BS reason as to why the speakers were blaring ungodly music early in the morning we found everything else to be acceptable. Spacious and clean rooms. A series of pools that really allowed you to find a quiet spot. Bartenders were helpful. Front desk pointed us to where to do some laundry which was a blessing at the mid point of a three week visit. Certainly one of the best hotels on Magnetic Island.

We stayed here for 10 days and absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. Great breakfast, pool area, restaurant and a very comfortable Studio Apartment. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. We are thinking of coming back next year!

Beautiful location with a lovely relaxed feel. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so friendly. Buffet breakfast was always delicious.

When we arrived through what a lovely place. Got our keys and went to our apartment room, cleanliness was ok. Was a few maintenance issues, lights that wouldn’t turn off & broken fittings. Was extremely hard to have a shower in the 2nd bathroom as the shower head sprayed everywhere apart from on you. Other aspects like pool, harbour views and conference centre were very good. Due to our experience I wouldn’t recommend.

Attended Peppers for professional reasons/meeting. The restaurant area was lovely, very clean and tidy with lots of available seating. Of course amazing views. I didn't access any rooms or services on this visit.

Short stay over a couple of hot and humid nights. Well appointed and maintained rooms and grounds, particularly liked the pool with a lap pool at one end. If I lived in or around Townsville it would be perfect for a short get away.

Lovely resort in the best possible location. Room was comfortable with a nice view and Deborah from front desk was very friendly and helpful.
Sadly the pool was a bit chilly, but it is not summer so, didn’t really expect to be swimming much. Was nice laying by the pool in the sun anyway.
Dinner in the restaurant was divine! We went for the Monday Pizza & Pasta specials.
Buffet was standard buffet, biggest treat was the Danish pastries. YUM! Straight from the oven.
Will be coming back again for sure.

Visited Magnetic Island for Mothers Birthday — on the day when her cake was delivered was told we were moved to a function room the day of the event as there was a wedding in the restaurant. No prior communication response given by waiters was "you've just been on a boat, why would you want to see more water? " On top of this sub par we were also charged an excess fee of $2.50 per plate to serve the cake. Very poor communication between event and patrons. Beautiful food as always, many thanks to the chef. Instead of an apology from any member of the staff we were countered with unacceptable attitude. With family coming from all over Queensland for this event it was a very disappointing experience.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room we stayed in over the weekend. The lounges are filthy, worn and stained and there was black mould on the blinds in both the bedroom and the lounge area. When we told reception she just said she would make a note and didn’t seem at all concerned.
Considering I was staying there with my new baby and 2 other children I was extremely disgusted with the lack of hygiene, mould is not acceptable at any time and especially not when your paying $395 a night to stay at the resort.
I’ve stayed here a number of times and the rooms have always been of a great standard but definitely not this time!

Excellent location, spacious and clean rooms with microwave, toaster and hotplate. Comfortable chairs/lounge and table with four chairs. Spacious bathroom including a washing machine. Very friendly and attentive staff operating front desk and great restaurant that also provides excellent buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

At the reception we were greeted friendly, then first enlightened what we were not allowed to and even had to sign it.
The room was standard, the fridge noisy and it lacked the part for the bottles. At the next door they fell out.
Restaurant: We were left to sit 90 minutes after ordering with only one glass of water. When the order was received, the answer was that it was probably lost. That's supposed to be 4 stars?

Very nice staff and always up for a friendly chat. Also has the best pool I have ever seen, definitely child friendly with a large shallow part for the little bubs.

For a break, for a few nice days, for "a little bit of something to indulge" you can only recommend the "Peppers Blue on Blue Resort" on Magnetic Island. Large room, one small and one huge (! ) Pool, view of the marina or the mountains, beautiful nature, the staff was nice. Everything is very important: not every house has an elevator! are only three floors, but those who have problems with the stairs should point out when booking!
By the way, the parrots come to visit the balcony, quietly keep some bird food ready, they even come to the hand…

Very polite and helpful staff great facilities for families as it has a kids club on school holidays. The resort has an amazingly huge pool and it seems the second pool even though it doesn’t state it it seems to be more for adults only even though it is much smaller as there was a few adult quietly reading st this pool, there are a few rooms that look over the Ferry car park so be careful when booking and the only problem with the room I stayed in the aircon split system was on the verandah and to keep the room cool as it is North Queensland and it is hot in the summer you had to put up with hot air being blown on you while outside or turn off the aircon and have a hot room as well, just a bad design I feel. The restaurant is amazing and the food is fresh and delicious wait staff were friendly and helpful all in all a great stay and would definitely come back.

We stayed in apartment 933. It wasn't cheap but the things wrong with the apartment made it feel cheap. Air-conditioning didn't quite work in the rooms even on 'night mode'. The shower in the second bathroom was a joke. The shower head is broken. The front door doesn't close unless you slam it. The TV is old l, doesn't have HDMI so don't bother bringing your own devices to plug in. Not enough power points in the right places. The stairs light in block 9 doesn't come on until after the stair well is so dark you can't see. One of the pillows smelt like urine. Yes. Urine. One key for 4 adults. Good points. Large rooms, the main bedroom is nice with a good shower. The furniture is nice enough. Good amount of cookware and utensils. Nice views from this room.

Absolutely beautiful, staff were very friendly. Restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend this place.

After a full day on the island. Went to the restaurant at Peppers and after stating 3 times that we were vegetarian, the “vegetarian” risotto was served… with shredded duck throughout. One of the staff then insisted it was vegetarian and after we picked the meat out and showed her. We were offered different meals and complimentary drinks, but as we were on a tight schedule to catch the ferry we were unable to wait for new meals, plus they were not appetising to us. On leaving we were charged for our drinks and our side vegetables, with a $2.90 discount. They didn’t even make the drinks complimentary and it was just lemon lime bitters. If you are a vegetarian don’t order the risotto, with vegetarian option.

Upgraded at no extra cost from a 2 to a 3 bedroom marina view room. Awesome food, great place for a night or a month.

Excellent views of the Harbour. Staff in the restaurant can be a little short. Make sure you book, they seem to be a little emotionable about just walking in.

Stunning lunch special for a great price. Unfortunately though I breakfast needs to go longer than 10am. When your running on island time 10am is like 7am. All over great resort and personable staff.

Loved our stay at Blue on Blue Magnetic Island. 1 bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean and quite big. Our area aeemed to be the only block without lift access to higher floors — no big deal but it would be good to know so we could request one with lift access (traveling with kids = much luggage, stroller etc). Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Boardwalk Restaurant was definitely worth the price. A lovely, intimate dinner. Hint: there are a few babysitters on the island which will afford you that peaceful dinner/breakfast/spa treatment you deserve! They will come to your room. We were unsure at first but so glad we did.

Awesome relaxing spot for a family holiday. Friendly staff with a great Restaurant & Bar. Very accessible, right next to the Ferry terminal & Bus stop.

What a great hotel. Check in was excellent, with a lot of information provided on things to do on the island. I was lucky enough to be upgraded and the first impression of the studio apartment was the amazing smell as I walked in. Air conditioning was awesome considering the heat and humidity that was outside. Apartment was clean and spacious. Apparently there is only one building with a lift, that was mine. If you can't do stairs advise during the booking process. The apartments are spread out and over three levels. The lagoon pool is impressive and a great temperature, not ice cold like some places. Buffet breakfast was fine. Can't comment on the lunch or dinner as I did not dine here. If I had one critique, it would be the cost of room service charge… $10! This charge alone made me go elsewhere on the island to eat. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend.

We got a room with a balcony facing the car park. Obviously not as good as pool or marina. But it is right by the ferry, bus and IGA shops. Nice pools with bbqs.

The meals and service are excellent. Great location on Magnetic Island. Recommended to anyone looking for a nice night out.

Really nice atmosphere, great restaurant and a decent room overlooking the bay. We stayed in a Studio Superior room. The shower was extremely small.

Had a 4 night stay. The bed was very disappointing had a double bed and it was very uncomfortable rolling into the middle. Their was a wedding at the resort so all the facilities to us the other guests were not available and we had to us the car park to come and go. Very disappointing as we paid top dollar to stay if we had known about the wedding and the facilities to us were not available we wouldn't of booked. A male restaurant staff very rude. So all in all I would not recommended to anybody.

There were some issues with the 1st room o got but the place was able to resolve it by getting me a new larger room.

The most civilised place on Magnetic Island. Right at the ferry terminal at Nelly Bay. Good for families with a massive pool complex.

Great location. Stopped by for a coffee. I've stayed here before and loved the room. The pool is huge! Pricey but if you can afford it you won't be disappointed.

Clean and tidy apartments. Close to ferry, shops and restaurants. Pools were nice. Get an apartment with a view as many of them are very restricted and average. Breakfast hot buffet was good. Staff were all very friendly. We would stay here again.

Nice resort with good food! A few minor details weren't great though, lights and key cards weren't working, we got a double bed instead of two singles etc. Overall it is nice and the rooms are huge!

Really as far as laid back but upmarket accommodation this is the best we have experienced on the island. Everything from the staff, the food, the rooms were excellent. Easy parking if you have a car and right at the ferry if you don't.

We went for dinner $19.90 steak night and wow it was amazing service was great we loved it.

$600 a night and we've been waiting for an hour past check in time to check in. We arrived two hours early, so three hours and they couldn't manage to clean our room or prioritize the cleaning accordingly. Didn't even offer a drink of water. Not a good way to start the trip.

Was not impressed at all considering the expansive price! We booked for 4 and 1 child and we got 2 separate rooms away from each other. Room service was not included and we had to ask for towels to be changed! Will never bring my family back here. We stayed at Mercure couple years ago and it was far more affordable and much better service!

Best pool in North Queensland.

We had a fantastic 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the marina we loved every minute that we were there. Staff are very accommodating and friendly The breakfast each morning was very good and inviting. We will let everyone we know that this is the place to visit. We have emailed our travel agent to let them know what a great time we had there and highly recommend your facilities as it is 1st class and very close to all needs on the island Thank you for such a great time and we will be back.

Went to this hotel for my honeymoon. did not receive any special treatment being on honeymoon. (eg bottle of wine, choclates) went to hilton the night of wedding and as soon as they found out it was our honey moon they upgraded us free of charge. over priced for what you pay for would have rather paid for a cheap place that provided better customer service.
