Such a great resort for families. Thoughtful fun games for kids to play and the pool is big enough too.

We have had a great stay here. Relaxing place to stay, kids had a ball in the pool and Rachel was AMAZING. The animal trail was a really fun activity for the kids…. Took us too long to find the cockatoo mum was not great help 😂😂🤣

Very comfortable accommodation. Will stay again.

A1 place, You need a good week to see all the island.

Excellent place. Only thing that wasn't so great was the bathroom/toilet was not isolated from the main room.

Terrible, ugly and old. Imbecile service… resort guests only… could not even visit my Brother when he came to stay. Management told me I could book a room in order to visit him. Desperate or what I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Currently staying in a queen bure with my partner and it's perfect. Plenty of space, really comfy and clean and the staff are very friendly. I'm glad I didn't waste any money on a tiny hotel room elsewhere! I'd highly recommend this room to anyone staying on Maggie in the future.

Absolutely fab place! I had the little single studio flat which came with a shower, fridge, microwave and kitchen gear. Even complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries. Exceeded expectation and perfect for a single traveller. And the beach and supermarket are just down the road. Thanks for making my stay great!

Really like this place. Good value for the money we paid. Only one large room but we where only two people. Clean and the room felt fresh. Only downside is that there is no owen in the kitchen.

If you're looking for a fun time with your family DO NOT go here. In fact, this "resort" has more rules and procedures than a WH&S building site! The management who run the place can be described as an extremist militant brought back from the 1940's German camp. You just simply can't be a guest here. You can not relax. I was afraid to step out of line for fear of "prosecution" from the woman who runs the camp. I saw what she did to my girl friend who was restrained by the woman militant for entering the resort with her 6 year old son. My friend lives on the Island and came to visit us. The boys just wanted to play chess together in the games room. But because 5 years ago a guest stole a set of earphones from another guest lead to an internal policy (yes, another policy) no outsiders are allowed in the resort. This comes after I paid $4 for towel hire so as my 6 year old son could have a dip in their pool. Yes, pool towels are not included in the exorbitant room prices. And the pool area didn't go without their internal rules, along side the bar rules and then the games room rules. Even the wild life has rules! We weren't advised through the booking website that outsiders are banned. That includes your mum. We even offered to put them on the list with us but was refused. Even thou our room sleeps 6 and there were only 3 of us. After checking in and being there for 2 hours, we fled the camp. Pure Magnetic is the island real estate agent.

This is a quiet Resort at Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island — Qld. Rooms are.

It's a great little resort and is very tidy and close to everything. The little shop is cool and sells cheap grog. We will certainly be back asap. I recommend this place and if you are looking for a larger space book the 4 bedroom house. I keep on forgetting what Maggie has to offer and the options are endless so do yourself a favour and get you bum over here.

The staff are amazing and the rooms are beautiful. Great prices and definitely recommend Island Leisure Resort. Thank you for an amazing long weekend for our Anniversary.

Quite a lovely place to enjoy Magnetic Island. The rooms and resort itself are exceptionally clean. The native plant life and the roaming curlews are wonderful treat, as well as the daily dusk feeding of the Rainbow Lorikeets. The owners/staff are very personable. There is little game room and perfect little pool. I could imagine the place turning somewhat unpleasant when taken over during school holidays and busier times of the year.
