I stayed in this motel about a year ago. I had come up to stay a week whilst my mother had intense surgery. I remember this motel well because I was super impressed with how comfortable the bed was, how clean it was and the location made it easy to get to the hospital.
I decided to come back to this motel again for this trip and I am glad I did. The receptionist lady was friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy and quick. Parking space is very generous and right infront of the room. The room is of good size, very clean and tidy and again, the BEST and most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
The room was nice and cool on arrival with the aircon already going. The shower head is massive with great pressure.
Awesome discounts on food and beverages at the very close by restaurant and bar (Barra Bar). Great food!.
Location is great with many shopping options close by.
I honestly love staying at this motel and will be back again for my next visit to Brisbane.

My recent stay at this hotel had both positives and negatives.
Upon check-in, the reception staff were friendly, and the room was well-presented. It appeared clean, and the beds were comfortable, providing a good first impression.
However, the experience quickly declined when we realized the air conditioning was not functioning. After informing reception, we received a casual response: *"No worries, we’ll log a ticket. "* Unfortunately, nothing was done during our two-night stay, leaving us to endure an uncomfortably hot room.
To make matters worse, I discovered baby cockroaches crawling over the coffee station during the night, which was highly concerning from a cleanliness standpoint.
At check-out, I mentioned both issues to reception, only to receive another indifferent response: *"No worries, sorry about that. "* The lack of urgency or concern for guest comfort was disappointing.
On a positive note, the hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to great amenities and dining options. However, given the poor customer service, unresolved maintenance issues, and cleanliness concerns, I would choose not to stay here again.

I booked late the night before staying then read some of the reviews, I tried cancelling but couldn't… and I am so glad I didn't!
The room was spotless.
The beds were so comfortable.
The lady on check-in was delightful.
Fridge was stocked with plenty of water bottles and milk.
I would definitely stay again.
To address some of the negative reviews.
Not a roach to be seen or any evidence of any (it is directly behind a McDonalds and I am sure this would impact any pest control measures)
Definitely not the usual musty smell of an older motel (I am 50 and stayed here when I was 7) and my daughter has bad dust allergies and woke with no concerns that can happen when we stay at older motels.
Reception hours — I called 10 minutes ahead of arrival to make sure there was someone on reception.
Noise — we didn't notice anything other than a little usual traffic and people out and about (not as much ass staying in the city)
To management, thank you for a great stay. The shower overflowed a little and I am not sure how this could be fixed and the window was not able to lock (I know it had a security screen but a lock would have made me feel safer).

On arrival at 2 pm the reception doors were firmly locked.
When I was finally admitted the man at reception was ambivalent at best. Was more interested in his lunch.
The pricing for the same room has increased by $80 in the last 6 months.
The rooms are looking very tired and in need of upgrading.
Best thing about this motel is the location.

Food was absolutely fantastic, my brother lives up here and I'm visiting from Melbourne and was my first time coming here.

Really great budget friendly motel. Really clean! Along with the daily room tidy which was very nice. Affordable and very comfortable. We are a family so stayed in the 2br apartment which is very spacious. We have stayed before and we will stay again. Very convenient location. And free parking right outside the rooms.

I stayed two nights.
When I arrived shortly after checkin was allowed, there was no one at the front counter. A couple that was there waiting to view a function room told me the woman had asked them to wait, and it had been half an hour so far. I waited a further 10 mins, then went outside and asked the cleaner. She called the woman back to reception. I was checked in quickly once she arrived.
Parking is right outside the room.
The bed was very comfortable.
The shower had one of those huge round heads and great water pressure, although it shot water in every direction.
One of the coffee cups was not clean on my arrival, but I noticed it was cleaned the next day during the daily service.
The soundproofing is non-existent. I got two hours' sleep the first night since the people next door were arguing until 4am.
I could also hear every time either side opened a door or turned on a tap.
Noise from the road is quite loud also, but it didn't wake me on the second night.
The door to the bathroom didn't close properly, which wasn't a problem for me as I was solo.
There's a bar and restaurant on site as well as a Maccas. It's only a short drive to shopping centres, etc.

Value for money. I paid $159 for a Monday stay. Staff were friendly, lady in reception was lovely. Bed was very comfortable and the aircon was good.

Budget friendly, big rooms (weird lay out though) lighting a bit sparse. Loose toilet seat, great shower (except for taps odd position). Good location, plenty of facilities (shops, takeaways).

The inside of the room was comfortable — good facilities apart from loose fittings in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable but because the bed legs are on wheels the bed moves around. The motel rooms are located amongst a carpark which had me worried about safety and security. I wouldn’t stay here again based on this.

Location is great, plenty of shops/food outlets. I love staying at Nightcap hotels. Always clean, cosy, relaxing and hassle free.
The maccas next door can get a bit noisy. Try to request a room that doesn't back onto the maccas car park.

Just a one night stay for work training trip. Very pleasant. Good service, well appointed tidy room. I ordered a meal through room service, steak sandwich… It was fantastic. Highly recommend your short stay here.

Great location thought would be noisy but no, parking outside your door for free, rooms have very comfy bed, great place to put suitcases fridge with milk and water, no hair dryer you need get from reception but that not far, would have rated higher but bathroom ceiling lots of mould, need exhaust fan and showers need a bit of grout clean, which is ashame as hotel wonderful, very friendly staff, free drink at bar if you book direct. We will be back.

It is such a great room, it has a modern feel, looks and smells clean and so spacious! We were a little concerned with how close the highway is but the room is so soundproof you can hardly tell! The front desk lady was also wonderful. We are looking forward to the rest of our stay.

Love the food, clean rooms friendly staff, nice to finish work a relax.
